Most people spend their entire lives avoiding physical altercations, but in Miguel’s case, all he can think about is giving someone the gift of chin music in the Hulu Original film Miguel Wants to Fight. Hulu debuted the first Miguel Wants to Fight trailer on Tuesday, teasing the next film from American High. The light-hearted coming-of-age comedy taps into the curse of peer pressure, self-doubt, and the mystery of knowing if you can hold your own in a schoolyard scuffle.
Here’s the official synopsis for Miguel Wants to Fight:
Despite living in a neighborhood where fighting is stitched into the fabric of everyday life, high school junior Miguel (Tyler Dean Flores) has never found himself in one. And, to be honest, he’s perfectly fine with that. But when a combination of events turn his life upside down, Miguel and his three best friends —the stoic David...

Updated, 9:09 a.m.: “Miguel, have you ever gotten into a fight?” Tyler Dean Flores’ high schooler is asked in the first trailer for the Hulu Original Film, Miguel Wants to Fight. “It’s like what everyone does.”
He once got into an altercation outside of a grocery store, involving “aggressively hugging,” he recalls. But realizing that this doesn’t count, he succumbs to a bit of peer pressure, embarking on a series of misadventures with his three best friends — the stoic David (Christian Vunipola), the rowdy Cass (Imani Lewis) and the quick-tongued Srini (Suraj Partha) — as he tries to get into his first real brawl.
Read more about the film, arriving on Hulu on August 16th, below. Check out the trailer above.

Sports as metaphor and conduit for personal change is not a new thing in cinema, but it's not too often we see tennis courts used for this thematic backdrop, nor for the setting of a comedy. But "Break Point" just does that. And after spending some time on the festival circuit last year, including a debut at SXSW, the movie is now headed to theaters and a new trailer has arrived. TV comedy veteran Jay Karas directs Jeremy Sisto, David Walton, Joshua Rush, J.K. Simmons, Amy Smart, Vincent Ventresca and Adam Devine in this film about a fading tennis champ who teams up with estranged brother for one last run at glory. Here's the official synopsis: Jimmy Price is a reckless man-child on the last leg of his career as a doubles tennis player. When his latest partner drops him, he realizes he’s officially burned all of his bridges on the pro circuit.

With November Man out, excitement for Pierce Bosnan’s return to spying is at an all-time high for many James Bond fans. November Man, based on the seventh installment of Bill Granger’s book series called There Are No Spies, is about ex- CIA agent Peter Devereaux (Pierce Bosnan). While living a quiet life in Switzerland, Devereaux is ejected out of retirement for one last mission. Although the concept of the “one last mission/job” is not a new concept for Hollywood, it definitely has its place in cinema history, branching out to a wide range of reasons why our beloved characters are being pulled back into their past lives. From a retiree’s last gig, to the bad-boy-gone-good-and-then-bad-again mission, to the revenge premise, mythology of the ex-professional can surely delight and excite us to champion our heroes for one last fight. Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Will Graham’s (Hugh Dancy) relationship features significant homoerotic subtext on NBC’s Hannibal. While some involved in the project shrug off the gay undertones, others acknowledge that something does seem to be going on between the two characters.
Is Hannibal Lecter Gay?
Actor Scott Thompson, who plays Jimmy Price on Hannibal, thinks it’s perfectly possibly that things could turn overtly sexual between Lecter and Graham. Putting himself in their shoes, Thompson, who is openly gay, can empathize with the idea of someone consenting to sex with a person not of their preferred gender.

Based on traditional ratings alone, NBC's "Hannibal" is among the least-watched shows on the traditional broadcast networks. But its reputation among the sorts of fans who come to Comic-Con has grown with each passing year. Two summers ago, it was just one half of a Bryan Fuller-focused panel (which also focused on his attempt to reboot "The Munsters" as "Mockingbird Lane") in a very small room. Last summer, it moved to a slightly bigger room to accommodate Fuller and Hugh Dancy. This year, even without Dancy or Mads Mikkelsen or Laurence Fishburne, "Hannibal" has graduated to the big time, taking over the Convention Center's mammoth Ballroom 20 for a panel subtitled "Embrace the Madness," featuring Fuller, director David Slade, writer/producer Steven Lightfoot, longtime Hannibal Lecter producer Martha DeLaurentiis, and supporting players Caroline Dhavernas, Scott Thompson and Aaron Abrams, and moderated by Jonathan Ross. Given that Dhavernas' Dr. Alana Bloom...

Do you ever laugh out loud when watching "Hannibal"? As seasoned horror fans, no doubt many of us do. And someone else who does is series creator Bryan Fuller, who was recently interviewed for the web series "Post Mortem with Scott Thompson."
Along with getting Fuller to explain what lured him to the project, Thompson, who plays crime scene investigator Jimmy Price on the show, also got a few teases of what's still to come in the second season.
Check out the interview below via TV Guide; here are some highlights:

Jeremy Sisto wrote and produced his first feature length film and it’s quite good, but it certainly was a challenge for the prolific actor to achieve that end result. Sisto leads “Break Point” as Jimmy Price, a former tennis star desperately clinging to his career. When his foul mouth and bad behavior cuts off yet another doubles partner, Jimmy decides to turn to the only capable player that’s stuck in his life no matter what, his brother Darren (David Walton). Even though the two are total opposites and neither intends to change his ways, they do make an effort to finally accept one another so that they can have a [ Read More ]

This week Bryan Fuller‘s weekly jaw-drop exercise Hannibal wraps up its first unexpectedly stellar season. But of course you wouldn’t know that, because you’re too chicken to actually watch it, right? It’s okay – you can admit it. We’re among friends here. You know – the kinds of friends who would love to have you for dinner.
Okay, okay – so maybe you’re not scared, and you just don’t have the appetite for this brand of bloody buffet. But Hannibal transcends standard hack-and-slash genre television in a number of ways – which is probably why it’s already been renewed for a second season of ghastly, envelope-pushing intrigue.
Here’s a quick rundown of reasons you really should be watching.
1. Carnage, psychosis and existential despair have never looked so good

Okay, boys and girls, the day we’ve been waiting for (and dreading) is upon us: we’re starting to witness Hannibal Lecter in actual operation, and as one might expect, it’s truly chilling. Hannibal the series is officially a dream come true for Thomas Harris fans, and Mads Mikkelsen has officially staked his place as my favorite actor to portray the character.
Observing him from the outside and despite seeing evidence of his “work,” it’s hard to get one’s mind around his behavior (just ask Will). Hannibal is the picture (and indeed the fact) of refinement, exquisite taste, professional mastery, and, yes, likeability. As he tells his own psychiatrist (every good mental health professional maintains such a relationship), he has “friends, and the opportunity for friends.”

Hannibal is beginning to show us the glorious and daunting spectrum of human love, frailty, and depravity… and Will Graham’s starting to lose it just a smidge.
Waking up standing in the middle of a country road in the dead of night, the preternatural elk haunting his dreams turns out merely to be Winston, his recently adopted dog, and the officers shining flashlights into his eyes, reassured that he isn’t suffering from overdose or emergency, drop them home.
Perhaps not an emergency, but unnerving enough to prompt a bright and early visit to Hannibal at home, who receives Will warmly, in his own detached way, offering no-doubt-sumptuous coffee, and rebuffing Will’s apology for the imposition. “Office hours are professional; my kitchen is always open for friends.”
No rest for the weary, Will is summoned to a grisly crimes scene, but Jack assures him this will wake him up.

The series premiere of NBC's "Hannibal" is just three weeks away on April 4 and the network is teasing what to expect from the cannibal doctor with a new two and a half minute trailer.
Can Mads Mikkelsen fill Anthony Hopkins' Oscar-winning shoes in the title role? And how will Hugh Dancy fare as FBI criminal profiler Will Graham, previously played by William Petersen (in Michael Mann's "Manhunter") and Edward Norton (in Brett Ratner's "Red Dragon")?
One thing the trailer doesn't hold back on: the series' apparently very graphic violence. They're not kidding with that "Viewer discretion advised" warning.
"Hannibal" also stars Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford, Caroline Dhavernas as Dr. Alana Bloom, Hettienne Park as Beverly Katz, Scott Thompson as Jimmy Price and Aaron Abrams as Brian Zeller.
Check out the whole cast in our Season 1 photo gallery.

Well, actually just one kid. Or should we say former kid? He's far too old now to be a kid, but yes, he once was one of "The Kids in the Hall." Read on to find out just who has rounded out Laurence Fishburne's investigative team.
THR Reports that "The Kids in the Hall" alum Scott Thompson has boarded Bryan Fuller's adaptation of the Thomas Harris books. Thompson will recur as Jimmy Price, the third member of the FBI crime scene investigation team led by Laurence Fishburne's Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI's behavioral science unit. Jimmy specializes in fingerprinting and spatter patterns at crime scenes. He rounds out the three-person team that includes Hettienne Park (Young Adult) and Aaron Abrams (L.A. Complex), who play Beverly Katz and Brian Zeller, respectively.
Mads Mikkelsen will play the psychiatrist-turned-serial killer in the 13-episode dramatic take from “Pushing Daisies” creator Bryan Fuller.

With a cast that so far includes Mads Mikkelsen as the youngish cannibal psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter, Hugh Dancy as the criminal profiler who naively works alongside him, Laurence Fishburne as their supervisor, and Wonderfalls' Caroline Dhavernas as a consulting psychologist, NBC's Hannibal has now rounded out its cast with Kids In The Hall alum Scott Thompson and—wait, what? According to The Hollywood Reporter who is serious with this, Thompson will join the Silence Of The Lambs prequel in the recurring role of Jimmy Price, a member of Fishburne's crime scene investigation unit, and a guy who looks ...

According to EW, Tina Fey is headed to the animated Fox series as the voice of Ms. Cantwell, a substitute teacher who comes down pretty hard on Lisa.

The iTunes 99p rental. For many weeks now the bane of my existence, where once i looked with anticipation to discover what had been chosen, i now look with dread. Fatal Instinct, Surfer Dude, Starter For 10, just some of the rejects i’ve been subjected to.
Imagine my surprise, then, when i found that this week’s selection might actually be watchable. Let’s take a look, then, at Layer Cake.
Initially wanting to be an actor, Matthew Vaughn thought better of it, and began in the British film industry. Vaughn served as producer for several of friend Guy Ritchie’s mockney gangster flicks, including Lock, Stock… and Snatch. Watching Ritchie work, Vaughn clearly decided it was a better gig, directing. His first film would follow Ritchie’s in the British gangster genre.
Daniel Craig is Xxxx, a terrible conceit, so i’ll refer to him as Craig. Craig is a business man.
