If any of you are fans of The Big Bang Theory, then you probably also are a fan of Melissa Rauch. She has been an asset on that show for some time now as the squeaky voiced Bernadette Rostenkowski, but this weekend, Rauch shows off her skills in a whole new way with The Bronze, a comedy she co-wrote and stars in. It debuted last year the Sundance Film Festival, with its release finally coming our way on Friday. The movie should introduce her to a whole new audience, with the possibility existing that Rauch could wind up the next huge thing in big screen comedies. The Bronze is a raunchy comedy centering on former Olympic gymnastics bronze medalist Hope Ann Gregory (Rauch). Ever since then, she’s been living off of the fame that got her, residing in the small town she grew up in and essentially living in a state of arrested development.

Last week’s episode of “True Blood” gave us more Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) history, the return of Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) and the loss of yet another beloved major character. Alcide will be missed, undoubtedly by Sookie (Anna Paquin) more than most. This week’s episode starts in Mississippi where Alcide’s father (Robert Patrick) gets a phone call from Sookie informing him of his son’s demise. Meanwhile, in another phone call Jason (Ryan Kwanten) informs former bestie Hoyt (Jim Parrack), who no longer has his memories, of his mother’s (Dale Raoul) passing. The moment elicits some emotion from Jason who gets a [...]

Alicide died at the hands of the Bon Temps vigilantes and Pam convinced Eric to go after Sarah Newlin with her in True Blood’s “Fire in the Hole.”
Sookie And Bill Try To Track Hep-v Vamps
In Bon Temps, Sookie (Anna Paquin) put her master plan with Bill (Stephen Moyer) in motion: she was going to drink his blood (after last season’s transfusion, the blood she already had in her system is no longer adequate to alert Bill of her being in danger), and then sit in the woods as bait for the Hep-v vamps. Sookie would allow herself to be taken, just like the others, and Bill would then be able to locate them and rescue Sookie, Arlene (Carrie Preston), Holly (Lauren Bowles) and Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) from becoming Hep-v vamp dinner.
Bill isn’t all too thrilled with the plan, but he uses the time to...

True Blood fans may still be mourning the loss of Tara, but a few familiar faces returned to the HBO show on Sunday to make the grief a little more bearable – that is, until more people start dying.
Although she met the true death in season 4, the deliciously austere Nan Flanagan appears in a 1980s flashback that had the seemingly ever-nude Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) forced by a group of hit men to choose between saving the life of his beloved progeny, Pam, over his current human paramour.

Sookie, Jason, Alcide, Andy and Sam took a road trip to learn more about the Hep-v vampires while Arlene struggled for a way out of Fangtasia in True Blood's "I Found You."
True Blood "I Found You" Recap
The episode began with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) having a sexy dream about vampire Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) – a side effect of having drunk Eric’s blood last season. Just as things start getting truly steamy, Jason wakes up with a jolt in a church.
Outside the church, Sookie (Anna Paquin) suggests to Andy (Chris Bauer) that they track where the Hep-v infected vamps came from by investigating the dead girl Sookie stumbled upon in the woods the other night. Andy, desperate for a lead to find Holly (Lauren Bowles), agrees, and tells Sookie and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) to meet him at the station. As for everybody else, Sam (Sam Trammell) encourages them...

Fans have long been expecting Tommy, Sam’s screw-up brother, to exit the show. But even if you were one of the viewers who’d hoped it’d happen sooner, Marshall Allman’s death scene had to move you. At least that’s what the actor, who knows Tommy had haters, hopes. He admits it’s tough playing a polarizing character.

True Blood Review- Season 4, Episode 8: “Spellbound”
Written by Alan Ball
Directed by Daniel Minahan
Airs Sundays at 9pm (Et) on HBO
This week on True Blood: Sookie and Eric get stoned on each other’s blood, Marcus shows some good, and later bad, judgment, Tommy takes the money and runs, Mikey’s Ghost Nanny takes a shine to Lafayette, Jessica and Hoyt break up in two very different ways, Jason struggles to do the right thing, and Antonia and Eric don’t play nice.
After an off week, True Blood is mostly back on form. Overall, the acting is back to its high standard and several interesting developments push the plot forward. Unsurprisingly, Alcide and Debbie’s new pack leader, Marcus, is outed as Luna’s ex, but it was refreshing for him to show restraint at least as it pertains to the pack’s position in the vampire/witch feud.

True Blood star Marshall Allman has suggested that his character Tommy just wants to be loved. Tommy, who is Sam's brother, is currently staying with Hoyt's mother Maxine (Dale Raoul). "What he wants deep down is a family," Allman told TV Guide. "He wants to be loved, so that relationship just serves both of their needs. "Max feels abandoned by Hoyt, and Tommy, even though he left his mum, feels abandoned by his mum because she chose her husband, my dad, over me." Allman revealed that Tommy will do something morally ambiguous in an attempt to rebuild his relationship with Sam (Sam Trammell). "Sam and Tommy are trying to see if one another is trustworthy to be brothers," he explained. "That's what we're working (more)...

(Note: Episode 2 of "True Blood" Season Four is now live on HBO Go, but it won't be recapped here until next Monday.)
"It's a post-Russell Edgington world," to be sure, as the American Vampire League's Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck) told us in "True Blood's" Season Four premiere. But did Edgington take all the fun to his concrete grave in the Season Three finale? Judging from previews of this season, I think not, but Sunday's episode, "She's Not There," was more focused on tricks than treats. Alan Ball and Co. must have been in the mood for a gamble: They jumped in time a year. This device has been deployed plenty on TV, to both great and detrimental ends ("Battlestar Galactica" may have done it best in recent fare). It's a big risk for "True Blood" because the time from of its first three seasons has only been a few months,...

With just one episode left of "True Blood" Season Three (although we have to wait an extra week to see it due to the upcoming Labor Day Weekend), the powers-that-be have decided to pay homage to those who haven't made it out of Bon Temps alive over the course of the series thus far. Along with the usual Post Mortem and Inside the Episode videos that have followed each installment this year, we also get an extra entitled "In Memoriam".
First is the Post Mortem in which Alan Ball and his team talk about fairies and the myth behind them. Next is Inside the Episode with Alan Ball and director Daniel Minahan discussing Russell's ambitions. Lastly is "In Memoriam", which is a sweet send-off to all the people (and creatures) who lost their lives in the past three seasons of "True Blood."

Eric plans his revenge against Russel, Sookie finally decides to break her addiction to men with room-temperature skin, Sam begins going through some 'changes' and other people notice it, and Jason reconsiders this whole Cop thing for a life of … well, read on for yourself:

Some new promotional pictures for "Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ", the finale episode of "True Blood" season 2, have hit the Internet. Anna Paquin, who portrays mind-reading Sookie Stackhouse on the TV series, is featured in a shot dancing with Stephen Moyer.
Then, some other pics snap Michelle Forbes' Maryann Forrester wearing a wedding gown. In a shot, she is seen talking to Sookie, while another image captures her with Ryan Kwanten's Jason Stackhouse. Additionally, one particular shot shows Jim Parrack's Hoyt Fortenberry striking a pose with Dale Raoul's Maxine Fortenberry.
"Beyond Here Lies Nothin' " follows Bon Temps, who reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Sophie-Anne, in the meantime, warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness, while Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss and Hoyt struggles with Maxine's endless stream of insults.

HBO's series "True Blood" has everything a viewer could love: sex, violence, romance, comedy and, best of all, blood sucking vampires. As a fan myself, I know viewers everywhere are eagerly anticipating the season finale to see what happens with the current mayhem in Bon Temps.
"Beyond Here Lies Nothin'" will see Maryann (Michelle Forbes) preparing for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie (Anna Paquin) to be maid of honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) to keep the lid on Bill's (Stephen Moyer) inquisitiveness.
Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is leading Andy (Chris Bauer) into the heroic abyss, while Hoyt (Jim Parrack) has a hard time swallowing mom Maxine's (Dale Raoul) endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam (Sam Trammell) is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.
