However, this does not seem likely as Joyce Redman (who was born to a British father and an Irish mother, whose maiden name was McCormick) had no brothers and grew up in Ireland; while Amanda Redman's father Ronald (1929-1980) was born in London to parents from Yorkshire (his mother's maiden name was Butler) and grew up in the UK.
Had a twin sister, Rosalind (1915-2012), who died two days prior to her.
Born in Newcastle, Northumberland, England (some obituaries incorrectly stated Newcastle, Ireland) to a British father and Irish mother, she and her three sisters were raised in County Mayo, Ireland.

County Mayo.
Graduated from an acting course, and became an Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London.
Is interred at Faversham Cemetery in Kent, England.
