In the 20's followed engagements for some big silent movie productions like "Der müde Tod" (1921), and "Jenseits der Strasse" (1929).
Also in the talkies he appeared again and again on the screen for other great cinema highlights. His numerous support roles include well-known movies like "M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder" (1931) and "Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse" (1933).
