Miramax's musical drama Chicago gained even more steam Sunday by picking up the Producers Guild of America Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award for theatrical motion pictures for its producer Martin Richards, a day after the film's director, Rob Marshall, took home the DGA award. Richards' selection represents the second consecutive year that the PGA has recognized a musical after last year's selection of Moulin Rouge. Overall, it was not a bad weekend for Miramax's Bob and Harvey Weinstein, who received executive producer credits on Chicago, which led all films with 13 Academy Award Nominations.
