Ruth Rieser attended acting classes at the Mozarteum in Salzburg,
Austria, and completed her education at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in
Vienna, Austria, where she took her diploma in 1989.
She also attended the École Supérieure d'art Dramatique du Théâtre
National de Strasbourg, France, in 1990.
Ruth Rieser studied Theatrical Science at the University of Vienna and
finished that chapter of her education with her dissertation about
Italian Stage icon Eleonora Duse (1858-1924).
Before concentrating on her movie career, Ruth Rieser had already been
well known as stage actress in Austria.
