Matt Roberts, who played guitar for the post-grunge rock band 3 Doors Down, was found dead in a Wisconsin hotel room early Saturday morning, his father, Darrell Roberts, told TMZ. The musician was 38. The cause of death was believed to be an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. Darrell Roberts told TMZ that his son was scheduled to perform at a charity event outside Wisconsin, and rehearsal went late into the night.
