Updated: Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, appearing at a Los Angeles re-election fundraiser tonight, each addressed the Israel-Gaza war protests that have highlighted a split on the left.
About two dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators were outside the event, held at the home of entertainment attorney Cliff Gilbert-Lurie and Leslie Gilbert-Lurie, and some of the protesters chanted “Free Palestine” and held a banner that read “No pride in genocide,” according to a pool report. Demonstrators also threw fake blood in front of the home, and placed their red handprints on the ground, as they have at other protests.
Inside, with about 140 people in attendance, Leslie Gilbert-Lurie introduced Emhoff and told the crowd, “At this heart breaking moment when antisemitism is rapidly gaining traction along with Islamophobia, racism and xenophobia, it is so reassuring to know that the Second Gentleman understands what many of us are experiencing.”

In the clip, Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Mac (Rob McElhenney) have a plan in store for Paul and Cranston as they make an appearance in Philly to launch their own celebrity liquor label, Dos Hermanos. But that scheme comes to a screeching halt when Paul refuses to shake Dennis’ hand.
“I really don’t mind shaking his hand,” Cranston whispers to his former AMC co-star.
“How many times do I have to go through this? We’re not shaking hands,” Paul responds. The short moment is a complete about-face from the dynamics between Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

NBC’s full scripted originals picture will not come into focus until after next week’s upfront presentations to Madison Avenue ad buyers.
The network on Friday unveiled its fall schedule and announced that it has renewed George Lopez’s father-daughter rookie comedy Lopez vs. Lopez for a second season. But missing from the schedule was news on the network’s three remaining bubble comedies Grand Crew, Young Rock and American Auto. Also yet to be determined are the fates of four pilots — comedies Non-Evil Twin and St. Denis Medical and dramas Murder by the Book and Wolf.
Sources say the network will not decide the fates of the three bubble comedies or its pilots until after next week’s upfront presentations to ad buyers, as NBC continues to shift to year-round programming and weighs the impact of the Writers Guild of America’s strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers,...

Marilyn Milian, the a no-nonsense judge who spent 22 seasons on syndicated favorite “The People’s Court,” guest stars on Tuesday night’s episode of “Lopez vs. Lopez” as Judge Justicia of “Corte Caliente.”
In this exclusive clip, George Lopez (who plays himself on the series) and his ex-wife Rosie (Selenis Leyva) end up in her TV forum after she refuses to return his engagement ring. Both play up their side of the case for the cameras.
George reluctantly follows the script to say he’s seeking “breast-itution” from Rosie, after she put the contested ring in her bra. Meanwhile, Rosie puts on a show of dabbing at her eyes with a handkerchief, then calmly says she can film the emotional outburst again if need be.

Updated with statement: After a story this week from Deadline’s sister publication Rolling Stone detailed allegations against Oscar-winner F. Murray Abraham, the actor has issued a statement on the matter, the text of which Deadline has confirmed with his representative.
“This is a sincere and deeply felt apology,” reads Abraham’s statement.
It goes on to reference Lionsgate’s decision last year not to bring him back for Season 3 of Mythic Quest. “Though never my intention to offend anyone, I told jokes, nothing more, that upset some of my colleagues and as a result lost a great job with wonderful people.”
It continues, “I have grown in my understanding from this experience, and I hope they will forgive me.”

When it was first announced that Paramount+ was rebooting Mike Judge's beloved animated series, "Beavis and Butt-Head," fans of the original series were rightfully concerned that bringing everyone's favorite MTV buffoons into the current era was a recipe for disaster. And yet, after the wildly successful "Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe," Judge effortlessly incorporated his horny, mouth-breathing, lovable losers into the 2020s.
The first season of the "Beavis and Butt-Head" reboot was, quite honestly, the absolute best possible outcome. The structure of the series didn't change at all, instead evolved to better reflect our current times. The characters still end up in nonsensical adventures like getting trapped in a bathroom thinking it's part of an escape room (or enacting revenge on some raccoons for eating their nachos) and still have the interspersed asides of commenting on whatever is on TV. Instead of focusing primarily on music videos as...

Despite his massive popularity from "Beavis and Butt-Head," "King of the Hill," "Office Space," and the disturbingly relevant "Idiocracy," the Mike Judge comedy flick "Extract" doesn't get talked about as much as it deserves. Written and directed by Judge, "Extract" is the story of Joel Reynold (Jason Bateman), the owner of a factory that specializes in the production of flavor extracts. On the surface, Joel seems to have a perfect life, but in reality, it's all a facade.
Joel's wife Suzie (Kristen Wiig) hasn't desired him sexually in quite some time, and rather than actually talk about their problems or see a sex therapist, Joel hatches up a ridiculous plan to get her to cheat on him, thereby removing any guilt he might have about starting an affair with his employee, Cindy (Mila Kunis). Of course, since this is a Mike Judge film, there's always an added level of ridiculousness,...

In Friday night’s episode of NBC’s “Lopez vs. Lopez,” George and Mayan Lopez’s father-daughter duo bicker about the definition of “gaslighting” and which parent of hers overstepped in a workplace matter. You can view an exclusive clip from the episode, aptly titled “Lopez vs. Gaslighting,” above.
The minute-long video sees Mayan confronting George about allegedly encouraging her mother to speak with her boss to enable her to leave work early, which he denies. “I would never gaslight you.
