“I have been exploring Every type of therapy since Jan 14th,” he said in an Instagram post (below). “Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / Ir therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on.”
While he’s used about every tool at his disposal to strengthen his body as he works through recovery, Renner said that ultimatley his “greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to...

Matthew Perry‘s death has reportedly profoundly affected all of his Friends co-stars. However, a source says Jennifer Aniston has been “knocked off her feet” by her longtime friend’s passing. Here are the details.
A source says Jennifer Aniston’s friends are ‘worried’ about her
Page Six reports a well-placed industry source claims Jennifer Aniston has taken co-star Matthew Perry‘s death very hard. They say those close to Aniston are “worried” about her.
“Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courteney [Cox] are reeling the most. But Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely,” said the source to Page Six.
“It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the first anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner. She still hasn’t fully regained her footing, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet.”

January will mark one year since Jeremy Renner was caught in a near-fatal snowplow accident that crushed more than 30 bones in his body as he attempted to save his nephew. His recovery from the incident has spanned this entire year as he worked with doctors to address chest trauma and other injuries. In the months since, the actor has started to think differently about life and taking care of his mental health as much as his physical health.

Britney Spears's memoir is both a horror story and a cautionary tale. There's a lot to take away from it, but at its core, it's a story about a woman whose bodily autonomy was essentially stripped from her at a young age - by her parents, by the media, by her partners, and by the world at large.
"The Woman in Me" is definitely Spears's story, but it's also a story that's been repeated in various forms many times before. After reading it, sitting in a state of semi-shock while digesting the horrors Spears went through, I found myself thinking of Andrew Dominik's nightmarish 2022 film, "Blonde," which portrays a dramatized version of Marilyn Monroe's life. That film arguably exploited Monroe's legacy and repeated some of the same mistakes it tried to criticize, but it also tells the story of a woman whose appearance was commodified...

For an entire generation, Matthew Perry was the personification of sublime wit and effortless ease with one-liners, thanks to his role as the hapless Chandler Bing on “Friends.”
Among the show’s male stars, Ross (David Schwimmer) was the goofy one and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) was the charming one. But Chandler, he was the witty one. And while ably aided by the NBC hit comedy’s writing, it was Perry’s masterful technique wringing as many laughs as possible out of a punchline that helped elevate the character into TV’s pantheon of all-time greats.
With his sudden death Saturday at age 54 following what appeared to be an accidental drowning, the world mourns the loss of a troubled actor who gave it so much joy and genuine laughter. In many ways, his passing also signals the unquestionable end of an era. The cast of “Friends” is no longer whole. And...

Just a year before Matthew Perry was found dead, the Friends star was the subject of an hour-long sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer about his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.
In the special and in other media appearances to promote his book, Perry spoke about his past struggles with addiction but indicated he was doing well and seemed optimistic about his future.
In a separate interview with The New York Times, Perry said he had been sober for 18 months and had “probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober” after dealing with addictions to alcohol and opioids.
In the book and the promotion thereof, Perry recalled how at the height of his addiction, during his later years on Friends, he was taking 55 Vicodin pills a day. And he recalled going to open houses to steal pills out of strangers’ medicine cabinets.

The actor was found unresponsive Saturday at around 4 p.m. in the hot tub at his Los Angeles home. First responding paramedics were unable to revive him. Perry had a long and storied history of substance abuse.
Born in Williamstown, Massachusetts on August 19, 1969, Perry was raised in Ottawa, Canada. Looking back, one of the things that arguably made "Friends" so successful was how perfect of a job the producers did with casting. We aren't just talking in terms of talent, but age, too! The series was about a group of friends in their late 20s and early 30s living, laughing, and loving in New York City, and the actors who were about that age, too. Often, real events that happened to the actors - like Lisa Kudrow's pregnancy - were incorporated into the plot of the show.
Plus, the young cast ended up spending a lot of time together and forging deep relationships. Their bond was still deeply apparent during the 2021 "Friends" reunion. Matthew Perry, who played Chandler, also talked about how he had a crush on all his women costars during a previous interview with Diane Sawyer. Britney Spears's memoir, "The Woman in Me," is one of the year's most highly anticipated book releases. Few public figures have been more scrutinized than Spears over the years. In spite of that, she's inspired much devotion from fans and fascination from the world at large.
"The Woman in Me" is a sad story, detailing how other people have controlled Spears's life since she was young. Most of us know the individual fragments of her story from tabloids - from the time she shaved her head to her release from her 13-year conservatorship in 2021 - but seeing it all laid out together makes her journey much more clear and still a bit disturbing.
In the book, Britney paints the picture of a hard-working woman who loves to sing and dance and just wants to be good, but was heavily taken advantage of throughout her life, even as she raked in millions of dollars.

By the time Britney Spears’ memoir The Woman in Me dropped Tuesday morning, much had already been said — by critics, by the tabloids and by Spears herself, often railing against the former — about the contents of the highly anticipated book. In an excerpt and People cover story, Spears spoke about effects of her decade-plus conservatorship and revealed that she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake. When The New York Times managed to get a copy from a bookstore ahead of publication, key facts about the couple’s breakup were revealed: He did it via text message, and an ensuing interview with Diane Sawyer was one of several “breaking points” for Spears. The Daily Mail even dug up a previously unreleased audition tape for The Notebook — a role that famously went to Rachel McAdams. Throughout these prepublication reveals, Spears took to her Instagram (which she has often used...

Britney Spears has revealed that she felt like her family was trying to kill her throughout her 13-year conservatorship.
In a new excerpt of her memoir, The Woman in Me, obtained by Time, the pop icon admitted that she was restrained by her family and taken to the hospital following a 2008 incident where she locked herself in a bathroom with her son, Jayden, because she was worried she’d never see her boys again. After that, her father, Jamie Spears, filed the papers to enter her into her conservatorship.
“At various times I pushed back, especially when my father took away access to my cell phone,” she wrote in the book. “I would be smuggled a private phone and try to break free. But they always caught me.”
She continued, “And here’s the sad, honest truth: After everything I had been through, I didn’t have a lot of fight left in me.

Britney Spears said her post-Justin Timberlake breakup interview with Diane Sawyer was a “breaking point” for her.
The pop icon recalled in her new memoir, The Woman in Me, according to The New York Times, being “devastated” by their split, which he initiated over text message. She added that she even fantasized about quitting the entertainment industry.
Spears and the ‘N Sync alum had dated for three years after initially getting together in 1999 following her tour with the boy band. Their relationship ended in 2002.
But following their split, Spears said what made it even more difficult was the media portraying her as a “harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy,” when in reality, “I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood.”

Richard Curtis, the acclaimed British writer and director known for romantic comedies like “Love Actually,” “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Notting Hill,” is taking his previous films’ portrayal of women and lack of diversity to task.
In a recent interview appearance moderated by his daughter, Scarlett, at The Time and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, Curtis reflected on his past films, admitting that he is ashamed of how he portrayed women and teased their weight with “fat” jokes. He also addressed the lack of diversity in films like “Notting Hill,” which gets its title from a prominent Black neighborhood.
Per media reports from the U.K. event, Scarlett said that there have been “growing criticisms” around Curtis’ films, specifically about how women and people of color were handled onscreen. Some of the examples mentioned during the conversation were how Jones’s legs being described as being the size of “tree-trunks,...

“Love Actually” writer-director Richard Curtis admitted at the Times and Sunday Times’ Cheltenham Literature Festival (via Today) that he regrets the many weight-centric jokes he wrote into his 2003 Christmas classic.
The character Natalie (Martine McCutcheon) is often mocked for her weight throughout the film, with her dad calling her “plumpy,” a colleague noting she has “huge thighs” and her love interest (Hugh Grant) saying “God, you weigh a lot” after she jumps into his arms.
“I remember how shocked I was like five years ago when [my daughter] Scarlett said to me, ‘You can never use the word ‘fat’ again,'” Curtis said. “And wow, [she was] right. I think I was behind the curve, and those jokes aren’t any longer funny, so I don’t feel I was malicious at the time, but I think I was unobservant and not as clever as I should have been.”

It was announced earlier this month that Mayor of Kingstown would be renewed for a third season, but Deadline reports that one of the series’ main stars will not be returning. According to their sources, Dianne Wiest won’t be back for Mayor of Kingstown season 3.
The series follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Dianne Wiest plays Mariam McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown, who is the matriarch of the McLusky family. The outlet reports that there have been rumblings that Wiest might be leaving the series for several months, with her exit said to be “story-driven.” I haven’t watched the series for myself, but those who do likely know how Wiest will be written out, given the events of the season 2 finale.
