Directed by Shekhar Kapur, the film stars Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Amrish Puri, Annu Kapoor, Ramesh Deo, Ajit Vachani, Ashkor Kumar, Bob Christo, Satish Kaushik and many more. The 1987 movie is considered one of the best Hindi films of all time.

That’s how he becomes Mr India and fights the bad guys in the movie. The story also includes Seema, played by Sridevi, who lives as a paying guest in Arun’s giant mansion. Sex and the City was a smash hit for HBO. Premiering in 1998, the series ran for six seasons, spawned two movies (although we'd prefer to forget that the second one ever came out), and a prequel series (The Carrie Diaries on The CW).
And while there was great excitement over And Just Like That..., the reboot was somewhat marred from the outset with the harassment allegations against Chris Noth, the lack of Samantha (Kim Cattrall), and the introduction of the polarizing Che Diaz.
The series has expanded its circle of friends from the original, bringing in Seema, Nya, and Lisa as foils and sidekicks for Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, respectively.
Long-time fans enjoyed seeing Anthony find a new partner and learning more about Stanford's life in Japan. Season 2 of And Just Like That... also saw much growth from our leading ladies.
Carrie found and then lost Aidan, at least for the time being.

Mumbai, Sept 2 (Ians) Veteran actress-director Seema Pahwa, who is known for her work in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’, ‘Bala’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and others, has shared that her character of a mother in the upcoming film ‘Yaatris’ brings with itself a sense of unfulfilled passion and dreams.
The actress will be starring alongside Raghubir Yadav, Jamie Lever, Anuraag Malhan, and Chahatt Khanna in the film which has been directed by Harish Vyas.
Talking about what prompted her to take up the role, Seema shared: “I thoroughly enjoy portraying the role of a mother on screen, which is why I decided to take on this character. The concept is highly engaging, and I am genuinely fond of the storyline. Additionally, I have immense respect for Harish as a director, as he showcased a profound understanding of the subject matter. It was his expertise that motivated me to embrace this role.

And just like that, everyone is talking about “Sex and the City” again.
The finale of the second season of “And Just Like That” debuted Thursday — featuring a Samantha (Kim Cattrall) cameo! — and it was…fun? Moving? Not as deranged as the first season!? My colleague Ben Travers reviewed the finale here, but with the news that the show, Max’s No. 1 original, would indeed be returning for a third season we got to thinking about how the show can continue on its sudden upward swing.
The last few episodes of Season 2 have shown some promising signs of life. So members of the IndieWire brain trust who have consumed all 21 episodes of this compelling chaos train couldn’t help but wonder: What one change would drastically improve the show for Season 3?
For myself, the answer is easy: It’s time to get rid of Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez). The internet...

And Just Like That is the third reboot of the HBO cult classic show Sex and the City, which pushed the boundaries of stories and topics regarding the kind of relationships that were never discussed on television before. The original received cult status amongst many for presenting the stories of four financially independent women who lived life by their own rules in New York City and never let a man question any of their decisions. One of them is Carrie Bradshaw, who seems to have stumbled a lot on her journey to find the perfect partner. Decades later, And Just Like That begins with Carrie still married to John and living in New York. The central character’s arc from here on spans seasons one and two.
The first season begins with Carrie losing John to a heart attack. The grief had not hit her yet, but she was surrounded...

And just like that… another chaotic, traumatizing, and strangely addictive season of And Just Like That… has come to an end. Season Two introduced penis pumps and a palatial new apartment into Carrie Bradshaw’s world, plus the reappearance of her former flame Aidan Shaw and the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it return of Samantha Jones.

The second season of And just like that, a very popular show that has been rebooted way too many times has finally come to an end. The original show Sex and the City began with the stories of women above the age of 30 navigating through dating as their careers were set and prospering. It is still the same story a few decades later. Lives may have changed, but friendships still stand tall, and they are the backbone of their existence. The original show was path-breaking because it discussed many taboo subjects and has ever since attained cult status. There have been many shows modeled to look like it, but nothing comes closer to the original one and the second season of the third reboot. So here are the shows you must watch if And just like that is your current favorite.

The second season of the series ended on a bittersweet note. There was still a ray of hope that the makers added so that we could come back to the next season with some optimism. We collectively agree that the second season of the show was better than the first one. The arcs given to most of the lead characters were far better than their narratives in the previous season. Now that the network and the producers have announced that And Just Like That has been renewed for a third season, we would like to speculate on the narratives of several characters we wish to see in the next installment.
The second season ended with Carrie and Aidan deciding to put a five-year hold on their relationship. Aidan wants to focus on his teenage son, Wyatt. For that, he will have to stay incommunicado with Carrie. It seems a bit...

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from “The Last Supper Part Two: Entrée,” the Season 2 finale of “And Just Like That,” now streaming on Max.
“And just like that … I ordered two more Cosmopolitans” — that’s Carrie Bradshaw’s last line, delivered in her signature voiceover, in the Season 2 finale of “And Just Like That.”
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) delivers that proclamation as she relaxes on a beautiful beach, alongside her friend Seema (Sarita Choudhury). “We ran at love,” Seema says earlier in the scene. “And where did that get us?” Carrie answers simply, “Greece.”
Both women have fallen in love during the second season of the “Sex and the City” revival, and for now, are seemingly at peace with the challenges ahead of them. Carrie has accepted that Aidan (John Corbett) — her old love, now renewed — needs to be home in Virginia for his kids for the next five years.

After 11 episodes, a rekindled romance and a highly anticipated cameo, “And Just Like That” Season 2 came to an end Thursday on Max.
Developed by Michael Patrick King, the Max original takes place 11 years after the “Sex and the City 2” movie. Instead of following four friends in their 30s, the spinoff follows three of the main friends in their 50s as they navigate friendship, careers, new romances and the complicated rules of dating later in life.
TheWrap already broke down Kim Cattrall’s return as Samantha Jones. But if you’re curious how the season ended for everyone else, here’s what you need to know.

Spoiler Alert: This column contains spoilers from “The Last Supper Part Two: Entrée,” the Season 2 finale of “And Just Like That,” now streaming on Max.
Before the second season of “And Just Like That” even premiered, we knew that Kim Cattrall would (briefly) return as her “Sex and the City” character Samantha Jones. The ratings rationale for bringing back such a beloved figure were obvious enough, but creatively, the move seemed oddly self-defeating. After an awkward start, the sequel series had finally started to establish its own identity. What was the point of reminding viewers what they were missing, let alone with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo featuring no other cast members?
But to my great surprise, Cattrall’s appearance in the 11th and final episode of Season 2 was both effective and, against all odds, organic. The two-part finale, titled “The Last Supper,” was all about saying goodbye and paying tribute...

As Carrie Bradshaw gathered together her nearest and dearest to say farewell to her beloved Upper East Side apartment, some of the attendees made perfect sense. Charlotte and Miranda were, of course, in attendance, Charlotte bringing along husband Harry.

Another episode of “And Just Like That,” another Bravo reference!
After name dropping Bravo talent twice earlier this season, Seema (Sarita Choudhury) literally said “Bravo TV” in the sixth episode of Season 2, titled “Bomb Cyclone.”
Seema and her new Bff Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) were shopping in an Apple store when Seema invited Carrie to share a house in the Hamptons.
“‘I have never asked another single woman to share another summer house,” Seema said. “It’s just too tragic. Too Bravo TV.”
“Are you proposing we go to the Hamptons together?” Carrie asks.
“I can’t spend another weekend sharing a room with a married friend’s kid’s surfboard. But you and me, with our own two bed-three bath on the beach. Fun, fabulous, not tragic at all.”

Sex and the City fans were recently treated to a Bravo mashup between Ryan Serhant and the HBO series spin-off And Just Like That‘s … Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury).
In And Just Like That … Season 2, episode 9, Seema scours the Manhattan landscape for the perfect pad for client Ravi Gordi (Armin Amiri). She finds a great apartment, represented by Serhant, who plays himself. Ravi doesn’t seem impressed, but he hasn’t seemed impressed with any of the listings.
Ultimately Serhant allows Seema and Ravi to explore the place, which is when the two realize they have hot chemistry, which they can no longer deny. They have sex in the apartment, something Seema has never done before with a client. As they leave, she lets Serhant know that they’ll take the place – and he can tell exactly how she “closed the deal.”
Serhant teased his role on the show in an Instagram video.

New Delhi, Aug 14 (Ians) The Tokyo Olympian and 2021 Asian Championship bronze medallist wrestler Seema Bisla has been handed a one-year suspension for ‘whereabouts failure’.
Seema, who participates in the 50kg weight category in women’s freestyle, has been handed a one-year suspension by the Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (Addp). Spoiler Alert: This review contains spoilers from “A Hundred Years Ago,” the eighth episode of Season 2 of “And Just Like That,” now streaming on Max.
I was as skeptical as anyone when it became clear that Aidan was returning to “And Just Like That.”
The “Sex and the City” character, Carrie’s other great love and one who, in his status as an obvious second choice to Big, wasn’t really so great, seemed to have run out of dramatic possibility a while ago. His appearance in “Sex and the City 2,” with a credibility-straining chance meeting in Abu Dhabi, seemed only to be happening to cast into relief what worked, and what didn’t, in Carrie’s marriage. Aidan’s own qualities as anything other than not-Big didn’t meaningfully enter the story.

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen this week’s episode of “And Just Like That…” proceed with caution.
And we couldn’t help but wonder, did Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) just alienate half the “Sex and the City” fanbase?
In the latest instalment of the Max spin-off series, “And Just Like That…” Carrie is deep into her love bubble with her ex-fiancé, Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). The two wake up in each other’s arms, twisted in sheets, bargaining over who has to close the blinds to keep that pesky sunshine from hitting them. It’s a nauseating scene that begs the question — does nobody have a job anymore? Doesn’t Aidan have three sons? Is Carrie just going to spend the rest of her life living off the funds of her late husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth)?
And speaking of Mr. Big, the man is certainly rolling over in his Armani suit,...

New York City always served as an unofficial fifth cast member on Sex and the City. The reboot, And Just Like That…, treats Manhattan in much the same way. While fans spend a fair bit of time watching Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda live in their private spaces, they do a fair bit of eating and drinking around, too. During the show’s first two seasons, Carrie and her friends have wined, dined, and grabbed coffee at dozens of New York City establishments. We’ve collected five local food spots featured on And Just Like That… that you can check out right now.

The fifth episode of And Just Like That ends with Che and Miranda taking some time off from each other and living separately so that Che can recuperate from the blow of their show being canceled. Carrie wanted to date George, but she was put off by his annoying business partner. Seema dates yet another entitled man who expects women to be okay with his limitations. Rock, Charlotte’s second child, is approached by Ralph Lauren for a photoshoot, and she could not be more thrilled, but Harry objects to it.

And Just Like That… another Sex and the City love interest is back in play. John Corbett, who played Aidan Shaw on HBO’s Satc and its second film adaptation, is making a much-anticipated return to the franchise in Max’s Ajlt, and a new promo hypes up his debut on the spinoff. “This feels great,” Aidan tells Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) as he stands in front of her apartment building in Max’s promo. “Back where we started.” Aidan kisses Carrie on that stoop, and soon, the two are reconnecting, ahem, more intimately. “Can we talk about Aidan?” Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) asks Carrie. “You’re moving so fast.” But Carrie is undeterred. “If it feels right, and it does, then why slow it down?” she tells pals Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Seema (Sarita Choudhury). We’re not sure if Carrie is really ready for a new relationship on And Just Like That…, but Younger alum Peter Hermann is not a bad place to start, huh?
Carrie has a classic meet-cute with Hermann’s character George this week on the streets of New York: She wanders into the bike lane just as he’s speeding up, and he swerves to avoid her, crashing his bike and hurting his wrist in the process. She takes him to urgent care and helps him fill out forms — and we’re sensing a bit of a spark between them.

The fourth episode of this season of And Just Like That ended with Carrie attending Enid’s party, and she surprisingly had a good time meeting plenty of aging women who strive to live independently. Charlotte and Harry had a good month with their kids out of the house; meanwhile, Lisa and Herbert salvaged their anniversary party by announcing that Herbert would run for the post of City Comptroller.

Albert Einstein reportedly said that “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Like many quotes commonly attributed to historical figures who have appeared in the Night at the Museum franchise, Einstein never actually said this. And Just Like That… appears to be coming into its own finally. The series, a reboot of the iconic Sex and the City, premiered in December 2021 to mixed reviews. Season 2 is recapturing some of the magic of the original series, with episode 3 of season 2 receiving largely positive reviews from fans. Viewers largely loved seeing Carrie return to her roots, reading to the fanbase, this time in the form of an audiobook recording. Seema, Charlotte, and Ltw brought a bit of light and fun into the episode. Still, there is one aspect of the reboot that fans aren’t loving.
Che Diaz, the non-binary comedian that Miranda Hobbes is now sort-of dating, is still disliked by viewers. Episode 3, titled “Chapter Three,” did little to shore up their image. The 2018 Lust Stories was famous for many reasons, one of which was that the directors mostly explored the lust and attraction women feel on various occasions and how they look at relationships. It was an eye-opener for the Hindi cinema space because, for the first time, they decided to explore the lust that leads to love most realistically. No stalking or song and dance routine, just two humans interacting and figuring out things about what the human body wants. The next anthology brings us four more directors exploring the same concept in their own way and helping the audience understand how differently the idea can be presented.

“Are you an Aidan person or a Big person?” Michael Patrick King asks, shortly after his face appears via Zoom from New York.
When his Sex and the City sequel And Just Like That returns for its second season June 22, the showrunner is hopeful that this now decades-old debate will be had anew. After all, when the show’s second season trailer dropped earlier this month, it revealed that Aidan would be returning to the show, and to Carrie Bradshaw’s life. Instantly, it became one of two major plot points that has monopolized the media dialogue surrounding the show. The other: the return of Kim Cattrall‘s Samantha, who reportedly filmed her single-page scene in secret — without King or her former co-stars — earlier this year.
In mid-June, King spoke candidly about the return of both, along with his concerted effort to add dimension and humanity to the other characters in his now expansive cast.

I swear, this review is not a defense of Che Diaz.
I won’t apologize for their crimes against stand-up comedy, their pursuit of gold in the Identity Olympics, or the way they make their paramour Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) walk on egg shells whenever they’re breathing the same air. Sara Ramirez’s Che is smarmy and self-absorbed. They’re ostensibly a comic by profession, but have no clue how to produce or wield humor. (“The only thing I’m worried about is that spice all over your lips,” they clunkily purr to a fretting Miranda. “Because I’m not trying to have curry-lingus later.”) Che is what haters’ dreams are made of. And if Twitter memes are to be taken as fact, they are the complete opposite of a fan favorite: They’re a fan bête noire.

When the “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That …” premiered in December 2021, widespread excitement over the return of Carrie Bradshaw and company quickly soured into weekly rant fodder among loyalists for whom the original series had been nothing short of life-changing.
As someone who’d written a cultural history of “Sex and the City,” I was among them. We’d hoped the show that had revolutionized the portrayal of single, professional, sexually active women would do the same for ambitious, sexually active women over 50. What we got instead was a disorienting mishmash of nostalgic fan service, wokeness and tokenism that seemed to be apologizing for the series’ white privileged roots, and plotlines that made the characters seem like they were well into their 70s rather than their 50s.

Mumbai, June 18 (Ians) Actor Manoj Pahwa, who is known for his work in films like “Article 15”, “Mulk”, the show “Office Office”, “Singh Is Kinng” and several other works, on Father’s Day revealed why family is so central to his existence and why he takes the role of a father seriously.
The actor began his acting journey with India’s first daily soap “Hum Log” in 1984 but put his ambitions on hold for many years to take care of his father’s business and also looked after his siblings.
