Gerry is a career actor with over 100 professional stage, film and TV credits. He studied originally in London at E15 Stratford and later with Uta Hagen at HB Studios, New York. From his mid 20s he worked constantly in television and became a household name.
At 35 Gerry started working for NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) and spent the next eight years teaching acting and TV presenting for the Open Program. He became a senior trainer for NIDA's Corporate Performance division where he delivered a diverse range of creative workshops for executives.
Today he is an affiliate lecturer at UNSW Sydney and works with the full-time MBA students where he facilitates business presentation skills. Gerry also consults to Australia's top-tier medical, legal, architectural, and financial organisations.
Gerry is married to French-Lebanese actor Anna Jahjah. They lead Théâtre Excentrique, a collective which specialises in plays not originally written in English which they translate and bring to the Australian stage.
