- Married his girlfriend Kathy Silva at Madison Square Garden before 21,000 guests on 6/4/74 to help boost attendance for a concert that wasn't selling very well. The event was dreamed up by Stone and Silva and his manager and turned out to be an enormous success. The marriage, however, wasn't so successful, Silva filed for divorce four months later.
