Linda Taylor was born and raised in Southern California. At the age of
four, she began playing the guitar. Although she had several teachers
early on and participated in the typical school programs, she is
primarily self-taught. Before joining Drew Carey and the cast of "Whose
Line is it Anyway" to play improvised music in 1999, she taught guitar
at the Los Angeles Music Academy.
In addition to "Whose Line is it Anyway", Linda has appeared on such
television shows as "The Roseanne Show", "The Late Show with David
Letterman", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Charlie
Rose Show", "The Rose O'Donnell Show", "Crossroads" and "Late Night
with Conan O'Brien".
Linda's guitar playing has taken her on tour with the likes of Chante
Moore, Tracy Chapman, Jesse Powell, Thelma Houston and Japanese
superstar Namie Amuro. She also appeared in the Montreux Jazz Festival
with Kirk Whalum and Kevin Lattau. She also recently released her debut
album, Pulse, which was produced by her own company, Rubicon Music.
