“Fool Me Once” star Michelle Keegan is set to return for a second season of “Ten Pound Poms.”
Set in post-war Britain, the U.K.-Australian co-production follows a group of Brits as they leave behind their dreary lives to seek adventure down under. (In Australia “Pom” is a nickname for British people).
Keegan stars as nurse Kate Thorne in the show, which was created by “Fool Me Once” screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst.
Season 2 will pick up as Thorne tries to turn her Australian dream into reality as well as introducing some new characters who are sure to bring the drama, including the Skinner family, who have arrived from Ireland, and an unscrupulous landlord called Benny Bates.
Faye Marsay (“Black Mirror”) and Warren Brown (“Luther”) will also reprise their roles in the show alongside Rob Collins (“Mystery Road”) as Ron, Leon Ford (“Elvis) as Bill, Declan Coyle (“Long Black”) as Stevie,...

Paramount+ has teamed up with Sex Education producer Eleven to make a series about a bachelor party that ends up with the revelers in prison.
Filming has commenced on the UK original, which is titled Stags and stars Nico Mirallegro (Passenger), Charlie Cooper (This Country), and Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing).
Other members of the ensemble cast include Corin Silva, Sophie Lenglinger, Paul Forman, Jojo Macari, Cavan Clerkin, Paulina Galvez, and Oscar Foronda.
Here’s the log line: “The six-part series follows groom-to-be Stu (Mirallegro) and his friends on his stag do in South America. What was meant to be a week of drink, debauchery and fun takes a dark turn. Instead of boarding a flight back to the UK, the stags are sent to a lawless prison island run by two warring siblings.
“Quickly it becomes clear that the stags need to pick a side to have any chance of survival.

The BBC is teaming with Michael and Paul Clarkson, the twin brother writers behind the second season of Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House,” for a new horror thriller, the U.K. pubcaster announced Thursday at the Edinburgh TV Festival. “Red Rose” is being produced for the BBC’s youth-skewing online platform BBC Three.
The new show is being co-produced by Eleven Film, the producers of another Netflix hit, “Sex Education,” alongside eOne Entertainment.
The eight-part story follows a group of teenagers from the northern town of Bolton who download a mysterious app, Red Rose, setting in motion a series of events that take their town by storm, and bring the friends together to battle the unseen forces of a seemingly supernatural entity.
The Clarkson brothers said: “We’ve been working in L.A. for a while now, so the opportunity to return to the U.K. for our own show is incredible.

Wheel of Time and The Haunting of Hill House writers Michael and Paul Clarkson are writing an eight-part horror series for the BBC.
The British broadcaster’s youth-skewing network BBC Three has commissioned Red Rose from Sex Education and The Enfield Haunting producer Eleven Film and eOne. The Clarkson twins have also recently written on Apple drama See.
The series follows a disparate group of teenagers, adrift in the long hot summer following GCSEs, hanging out on the Bolton moors with little sense of direction or purpose now that school is over. Rumours circulate of the Red Rose app, an urban legend that blooms on the smartphones of teenagers, encouraging them to undertake a series of challenges increasingly dangerous in its demands. On the fringes of her group of friends, Rochelle Jackson downloads the mysterious app, naively inviting darkness into her life. What she sets in motion is a series...

This past week at the D23 Disney Exposition Event, a ton of news regarding the future of Disney franchises was unveiled including the announcement that a Big Hero 6 world will be featured in Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts III.
With the inclusion of Tangled and Big Hero 6 in Sora’s latest adventure, the speculation of which other Disney franchises could join in on the fun is running wild. Let’s take a look at some of the Disney films that would fit well in the universe of Kingdom Hearts.
We won’t be including acquired franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, Studio Ghibli or the Muppets neither will we be including Pixar films or else the list would be never ending! Rather let’s focus on Disney films which have a big fanbase or a fitting aesthetic that have unfortunately been omitted in previous installments of Kingdom Hearts.
