Willie Nelson put his mark on country music forever. He’s finally been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at 90 years old, which is long overdue for the influential star. So, was Nelson friends with The Beatles? Here’s what’s known about their relationship, including Nelson’s collaboration with one Beatle member.

As though the double helping of Deer Tick Vol. 1 & 2 wasn’t ambitious enough, Deer Tick is back with a fresh album of bonus tracks and alternate takes from 2017’s dual LP titled Mayonnaise, including a jangling cover of George Harrison’s “Run of the Mill.”
Originally released on the former Beatles’ solo debut, 1970’s All Things Must Pass — an even more sprawling triple LP — “Run of the Mill” gets a thoughtful, straightforward reading from the Providence, Rhode Island, ensemble, with a wall of layered guitars and a slightly pained vocal from Dennis Ryan.

Before Wheeler Walker Jr. was melding raunchy lyrics with expert country instrumentation, there was Ween’s 1996 cult classic 12 Golden Country Greats. A collection of 10 songs — even the misnumbered title is a gag — the album finds the Nineties weird-rock duo parodying country clichés in tracks like “I Don’t Wanna Leave You on the Farm,” “Japanese Cowboy” and the ultimate kiss-off “Piss Up a Rope.” But the record wasn’t completely a lark: musically, it was superb, with Nashville aces like harmonica player Charlie McCoy, fiddler Buddy Spicher and the vocal...

Restaurants are meant to be relaxing spots, there to accommodate the overworked, the unable to cook, and those out to celebrate. So what happens when they're also dens of grossness?
In "Health Inspectors," a new show on Food Network Canada, Atlanta restaurateur Ben Vaughn takes a look inside the kitchens of those who have either failed a health inspection or have one looming. And yes, thanks to the drama of television, it can be just as gross as you're imagining it.
"We ran across a situation where there were snakes hiding in the wall because it was so hot outside," Vaughn tells The Huffington Post Canada. "It's the kind of thing that can get you because you don't expect that."
Though he's not a health inspector, Vaughn has opened eight restaurants in the last five years and is all too familiar with the ins and outs of what makes for a clean kitchen.

Will a show about a health inspector turn out to be the next break-out reality hit? Maybe.
The Food Network aired a special last night called Health Inspectors, which followed inspector-turned-hero Ben Vaughn — the profession’s best hope for repairing their reputation since Larry the Cable Guy ruined it — as he helped clean up the situation at Big Momma’s Chicken & Waffles in New Orleans.
Simply put: Big Momma’s was filthy, a sizzling cesspool of salmonella, the capitol of cross contamination. But perhaps the most disturbing thing at Big Momma’s Chicken & Waffles & Roaches? The lack of knowledge about food safety.
