He presented several TV programs, such as Spel zonder Grenzen = Jeux sans Frontières (It's a Knockout) , the quiz Dubbel Dobbel (Double Dice ) and the Eurovision Song Contest.

Verdrengh also recorded some singles. "Hello, Madame the Baroness" from 1969, which was actually a B-side, is perhaps the best known in Flanders.
He became co-founder (with Guido De Praetere), former TV-manager & director of the first Flemish commercial channel VTM which started broadcasting in 1989.
