Dark-haired supporting actor in German films of the 1930's. His popularity had declined by the end of World War II and he reinvented himself as an important radio director and producer for NWDR in Berlin.
The actor Rolf von Goth began his film career at the end of the 20's with minor parts in movies like "Metropolis" (1927).
Von Goth switched to become a director of radio shows, becoming extremely successful in the format during the post-war years.
He was responsible for the production of more than two hundred radio plays for S.F.B. (Sender Freies Berlin).
