- Lule Warrenton was born on June 22, 1862 in Flint, Michigan, USA. She was an actress and director, known for The College Orphan (1915), Drugged Waters (1916) and Samson (1914). She died on May 14, 1932 in Laguna Beach, California, USA.
- Commonly known as "Mother" Warrenton, she was an advocate for women's welfare in the film industry. She worked to establish special housing for "extra girls" who were thought to be otherwise vulnerable to exploitation. This led to the establishment of the famous Hollywood Studio Club.
