On being awarded the OBE: This is the happiest day of my life. I can't believe they were talking about me. I chose the Priory as the place to receive the OBE to celebrate the fact that the stigma around mental health is becoming a thing of the past. There's nothing to be ashamed of.
I'm a misplaced American but don't know where I was misplaced.
