- In eight seasons at New York's Metropolitan Opera between 1928 and 1936, he sang some 328 times, appearing in 42 operas in 56 different roles. During this period, he made at least one recording, a Columbia 78 in which he sang a Polish song on one side and, on the other, "Sonny Boy" in Polish!
- (1947) He acted in Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's musical, "Oklahoma!," at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, England with Harold Keel, Betty Jane Watson, Dorothea MacFarland, Walter Donahue, Mary Marlo, Henry Clarke, and Wm. J. McCarthy in the cast.
