“The first thing he’ll do is eat sushi and probably a steak,” his former manager Norman Pardo tells People. “You can’t keep that guy away from sushi.”
Visibly older, grayer and heavier after nearly nine years behind bars, Simpson, now 70, smiled and joked when he appeared before the state’s parole board on Thursday — telling them just how sorry he was for committing the crime...

HollywoodNews.com: Can Nancy Grace’s syndicated “Swift Justice” show make it without Nancy Grace?
We’ll soon find out, as the controversial Grace trips off to join “Dancing With the Stars” — and her “Swift Justice” role is filled by Jackie Glass, known as the judge who presided over O.J. Simpson’s Las Vegas armed robbery case.
“Timing is everything, and I’m fortunate to have been at the right place with the right skills to do this, at this time in my life, when I am reinventing myself,” says Glass, whose two daughters are now in their twenties, one in grad school, and one an undergrad.
Glass, whose first show airs Sept. 12, resigned from the Clark County court to take on “Swift Justice.” She tells us her former colleagues there are “all really encouraging, looking forward to the show.” And her husband, Las Vegas City Coucilman Steve Wolfson — with...

In line with its mandate to stray from the mainstream in its development, 20th Century Fox TV's boutique division fox 21 has teamed with Cops creator/executive producer John Langley for an improvisational police drama. Tentatively titled Hollywood Vice, the fox 21/Langley Prods. project is set at Fox Broadcasting Co. The show, set in the vice division of the Hollywood Police Precinct, was created by Langley, filmmaker Adam Ripp and Ripp's partner Steve Wolfson. It will have a lot of the look and feel of Gang Tapes, the 2001 indie directed by Ripp and written by Ripp and Wolfson. Because the show will be based on a bare-bones script, written by Ripp and Wolfson, instead of submitting a script to the network, the producers will film a sample presentation for the network to be directed by Ripp. Casting for the project is under way.
