“I’m feeling great. I wouldn’t have come back unless all of the doctors and everybody gave me the go-ahead,” said Feehily.
The 43-year-old singer missed out on a number of Westlife’s concerts last year due to health issues and recovering from surgery.
“I just have to take it easy when I’m not on stage and stuff like that because I’m still finding my feet a little bit,” he continued. “As I said, I wouldn’t have came back unless I felt completely ready.

Mark Feehily has recalled his experience while suffering from pneumonia for a month last year.
The Westlife singer was forced to pull out of the band’s live dates on their Wild Dreams tour in November due to the illness.
Westlife is usually made up of Feehilly, Brian McFadden, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan.
Now, Feehily has opened up about his emotions while missing out on the gigs, saying he is “very glad” that the illness is behind him.
"It was almost like being back in lockdown because, for the first couple of weeks, I was just in bed all the time,” the 42-year-old singer explained.
"It was an almost out-of-body experience watching the Westlife tour go ahead while I lay in bed.
"It was the first time any of us had missed a stint of gigs in 25 years, and I’m very glad it’s behind me.

Kian Egan has advised 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestants to stay under the radar and not play a game. The former Westlife singer - who was crowned King of the Jungle in 2013 - thinks louder characters can ''dig their own graves'' by seeking to establish themselves and attract attention in their first days in camp. He advised: ''For the celebs heading to the jungle this year that are keen to win, my advice is don't play a game. Be yourself, be a team player and look after everyone... The X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has admitted that she thinks New Kings Order are "cheesy".
The group - formerly known as The First Kings - won a place in Cheryl's top six Groups and sang for her in Rome in an attempt to make it through to the live shows.
But Cheryl told The Sun that she wants women to fancy the five-piece.
"I think they are cheesy," she said. "You want them to have the desired effect on the women where the women go crazy when they come out. It's that masculinity and confidence - you want to feel like they're going to kick off when they come on stage."

Louis Walsh is "very happy" not to be doing The X Factor, according to Shane Filan.
The Westlife star spoke to Digital Spy about the show's makeover and the manager's relief not to be part of this series of the talent show.
"It's weird seeing Louis not there obviously because he was part of the four seats, but best of luck to Nick [Grimshaw]. Louis had done it for 11 years. He's very happy not to be doing it if I'm being honest," said Filan, who appeared alongside Walsh on the Judges' Houses round of the show in 2013.
Walsh might have dismissed Nick Grimshaw as a "groupie" and a "bad booking", but Filan had kinder words to say about the Radio 1 DJ.

"I'm cacking it."
27-year-old Joseph McCaul is backstage at Wembley Arena waiting for his X Factor audition, and it's fair to say he's feeling pretty nervous. And you'd think if anyone would be feeling alright about performing for the judges it would be him.
After all, Joseph has experience: with his sister Donna he was Ireland's Eurovision entry in 2005, and they toured with Westlife and had three Top 10 singles in Ireland while they were signed to Universal.
"We were on the front cover of all the Irish magazines and the papers," he says. "I just thought it was the greatest thing ever, I was 16. It was great. I couldn't walk down the street without getting pictures with people and signing autographs, and then it all went."

Kian, 34, said: ''We're both lucky to have travelled a lot of the world already but there are so many places we want to go back to or visit for the first time. Eight-piece boybands, middle-aged men dressed as Egyptians getting honey rubbed on their chests, Louis Walsh being... Louis Walsh. Yes, this series of X Factor might not have been the most thrilling, but even in a non-vintage year, there has been plenty to laugh at and enjoy.
This evening's final features Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini battling for the prize of a record contract and the chance to hit the charts in time for Christmas. All the betting and polls seem to suggest that it's a one-horse race with Fleur running away with it, but The X Factor has thrown up surprises in the past, so nothing can be ruled out.

Steve Brookstein has branded Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh ''irrelevant''. The 46-year-old singer was the first ever winner of 'The X Factor' but his career bombed afterwards, but he has now come out to criticise show boss Simon and has called Louis - who has been a judge on every series - an ''imbecile''. He told The Guardian: ''Louis Walsh is a complete imbecile. He is a complete imbecile. What's he had? Westlife. Westlife! ''Louis Walsh is irrelevant, musically irrelevant. Simon Cowell is musically irrelevant.'' Steve - who has just released his no-holds barred memoir 'Getting Over the X' - also revealed that when...

The Superbike champion beat Jake Quickenden to the title on tonight's finale (December 7).

Speaking after winning the competition, Foggy said: "I just think it's all a dream. I think someone's playing a joke on me!"
Foggy was then crowned King of the Jungle by last year's winner Kian Egan. He proceeded to walk across the bridge and was greeted by his wife.

With the acts getting two songs each to sing, you know things are heating up on The X Factor.

Craig Charles has left I'm a Celebrity following the death of his brother.
The Coronation Street actor was informed by producers on Thursday morning that his brother Dean had passed away.
Charles was exempt from the public vote for the latest Bushtucker Trial, and it has now been confirmed that he will fly home from the jungle.
A spokesperson told Digital Spy: "Craig decided to leave the I'm a Celebrity camp earlier today and will be heading back to his family in the UK. We send our sincere condolences to Craig and his family."
Former I'm a Celebrity winner Kian Egan is among those to have tweeted their condolences, writing: "This is so sad."
Charles rose to fame in the cult BBC sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf as Dave Lister, and has also worked on the likes of Coronation Street, Robot Wars and Takeshi's Castle.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is back tomorrow... and three people who know a lot about the show are its spinoff's hosts Joe Swash, Laura Whitmore and Rob Beckett.
The trio, who have flown to Aus for the next month so that they can pop up on ITV2's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now!, recently sat down with us to chat dream guests, squabbling with each other, annoying celebrities who refuse trials and much much more. So here are 9 things we learned from them!
1. Joe - who has obviously been in the jungle himself - thinks Laura and Rob could handle it.
"Definitely," he said. "I think they'd both do brilliantly. I think they've both seen enough of it to know how it works. I think Laura – all girls sort of struggle with the fact that they've got no makeup or mirrors or hairdryers.

After 13 series, there have now been more than enough I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winners to fill up their own all-star series.
They all had to endure creepy crawlies, tough Bushtucker Trials and mockery by Ant & Dec, but they all won the hearts of the nation for a couple of weeks.
Some of them may have fallen from grace since, while some have soared up the UK fame ranks. But who were the best champions from their respective series? Here's our just-for-fun, don't-take-it-too-seriously Top 13.

Potentially the most surprising winner of the lot, no-one could have guessed that Margaret Thatcher's daughter would have been voted the nation's favourite.

The X Factor will have a Girlband vs Boyband theme on next week's show.
This year's run has so far included Number Ones, 1980s hits and Movies Week, while this Saturday's show is the Halloween-themed Fright Night.
X Factor Live Shows to be moved to Sundays next year?
Weekly themes are usually revealed on the preceding week's results show or Xtra Factor broadcast, but producers have confirmed the November 8 plans early.
The 2014 judging panel features former Spice Girl Mel B and ex-Girls Aloud star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
It is rounded out by former Boyzone and Westlife manager Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell, who has played a key role in the careers of several girl and boybands, including former X Factor act One Direction.
The eight-piece Stereo Kicks are the sole remaining boyband in the group, being joined in Walsh's category by mixed boy/girl group Only The Young.

Queen Cheryl has nabbed your spot on The X Factor, your first solo album has bombed and nobody really needs an N-Dubz reunion. What would you do right now if you were Tulisa Contostavlos?
The messy courtroom battles might be over, but what she chooses to do next might define her entire career. More music, having a proper go at acting and a return to TV are all possibilities, and it's the latter which has made the tabloids this week, with rumours that she's a target for the new series of I'm a Celebrity.
ITV would no doubt love to snap Tulisa up for the show. She's opinionated, she's colourful and she divides the public - so she'd no doubt end up gagging on kangaroo balls every night with Ant & Dec sniggering on the sidelines.

We're feeling a little bereft. The Big Reunion has come to an end - though at least it was with a bang! The show went out in style with the much-trailed Hammersmith gig and now it's time to pack up our trouser skirts, heart glitter and gel pens and get back to our adult lives (well, as adult as we get anyway.) But at least the last hurrah was a good'un - here's what we noticed from the last episode of The Big Reunion's second series...

Jodi Albert has responded to Natasha Hamilton's criticism about The Big Reunion staging a boyband-only tour.
Boybands including 5ive, Blue, 911, A1, 3T, 5th Story and Damage will embark on a 13-date tour across the UK in October.
Big Reunion Jodi Albert's blog: Skipping rehearsals, Kavana & tattoos
Hamilton accused the tour organisers of gender inequality, and said that she felt for the girl groups on this year's series - Eternal and Girl Thing.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Albert said: "I'll just leave her at it. She can do whatever she wants. I'm ok."
The Girl Thing singer added: "The original plan was to have a boyband tour, see how well that does, and then they'd put on a girlband tour, but it's a business decision at the end of the day.
"Boybands always do sell more. I completely get it, it makes sense. If there's public demand for [a girlband tour], they'll put one on.
