Following the release of their new album Women in Music Pt. III, Haim have kicked off the second season of their Apple Music show Haim Time, in which they discuss the record, chat with special guests and review delivery food in their home of Los Angeles.
For the show’s third episode, out on Friday, the sister trio invited Sheryl Crow to join in conversation. The band has cited the singer-songwriter as a major influence, even covering her 1993 song “Strong Enough.” Throughout the episode, the four musicians discuss growing up in a musical family,...

There has been a bit of tension since the surprise victory of Donald Trump on election night. There are many on the Left who are vociferous in not liking or accepting the outcome, and there are plenty (not all) on the Right whose attitude appears to be “We won, you lost, get over it.”
A couple of incidents stand out. Vice-President Elect Pence attended a performance of the musical Hamilton on Broadway. Some of the audience booed him and, during curtain call, the cast read a (I thought) polite letter explaining their concerns about the upcoming Trump/Pence Administration. I’ve seen objections that doing so was rude, out of place, and (in the opinion of the President–Elect) it needed an apology. There are those on the Internetverse who evidently believe that politics have no place at a Broadway musical; Pence was there to be entertained, not lectured, and...

Prepare for heartbreak in this week's episode of Being Human (USA)...
This review contains spoilers.
4.7 Gallows Humour
In this week's episode of Being Human USA... pain. Just... pain.
Strap in for one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever watched, and I'm someone who doesn't even change the channel when those Sarah McLaughlin pet commercials come on. This week's episode is sad heaped on top of sad, and every single character manages to break our collective heart.
We open with Aidan, waiting while Kenny's vampires clean up the mess he left when he lost control and drained the girl from the previous episode. Kenny tries to make him feel better, but Aidan is having none of it and heads for home, because running from his problems feels pretty good right now. Unfortunately, there are problems at home, too.
At the house, everyone is dealing...

Tonight on ‘The Voice,’ it was all about Team Usher and Team Adam! After Sarah’s heartfelt performance and the judges emotional reactions, we’ve got a feeling we know where the votes are heading.
May 6 was the first night of the live shows on season four of The Voice. While Shakira and Blake Shelton‘s singers got to relax in the audience, Usher and Adam Levine‘s teams hit the stage. Sarah Simmons brought her A-game once again, wowing the judges and the audience!
Adam Levine’s Team Sets The Bar
The first solo performance of the live shows was Adam’s Amber Carrington. Amber set the bar high, and gained a standing ovation from her coach Adam with her performance of Rihanna‘s “Stay.”
Caroline Glaser displayed her unique voice and guitar playing skills in her performance of Ed Sheerhan‘s “A Team.” It impressed all the judges,...

It's hard to plan a surprise party, especially if it's for someone as high strung and dramatic as Cam. And this is before considering that Cam is a Leap Day baby. Oh, yes, the pressure was definitely on for Mitchell in "Leap Day."
The episode was like a ball of tension, under a weight of pressure, occurring during the time of the month for three feisty women. Or Satan's trifecta, according to Phil. Since the combined levels of screaming between Claire, Haley and Alex have left me with residual anxiety, I would say that Phil was pretty accurate.
Pms is no laughing matter and neither is the commercial the girls were crying to! Hands down the most realistic part of the episode was hearing the abused animal commercial set to the Sarah McLaughlin song that seems to be on a loop on E!. My eyes almost started welling up when I heard that playing.

Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good campaign is already off and running. You may have noticed the name as a sponsored trend on Twitter last week. I hadn’t even heard of this program before then, but I’m excited to bring it to your attention now that I have. In essence, Toyota is giving away one car a day for 100 days to a worthy non-profit organization. The 500 Npo’s included in the program were selected from applicants and placed into groups of five to be voted on by the public—one voting block goes live each day, and the winning organization receives a new vehicle donated by Toyota.
What is most engaging about this program is the types of organizations represented. These are not large-scale charities, but local organization with volunteers often numbering in the tens or maybe even less. These are groups whose work might only affect a small area,...

While “Crack Baby Athletic Association” was not as good as last week’s episode, South Park looks like it’s starting to get back on track. Even though the episode was pretty uneven in places, there were a lot of great moments to make up for it.
The videos of the crack babies at the start and the boys’ reactions were great; those sad commercials can crack even the hardest of men. Although I had never seen the Sarah McLaughlin commercial that the video is based on, I looked it up afterwards and I have to say South Park‘s take on it was spot on, with the obvious difference of crack-addicted babies rather than animals. I thought the voice they used for her in the video was inspired; intentional or not, it made the whole thing a lot funnier.
Speaking of crack-addicted babies, it’s probably one of the...

A music festival hosted by Ryan and the radio station results in a special episode of Life Unexpected next week.
It will feature appearances by musicians Ben Lee and Sarah Mclaughlin... as well as One Tree Hill characters Mia and Haley! That's right, it's a unique opportunity for CW shows to collide.
Take a look at these individuals interacting with Cate and Ryan below, followed by the official preview for "Music Faced."
