S. Quinn Hoodless is an accomplished and uniquely creative sound designer and re-recording mixer currently working out of Boombox Sound in the heart of downtown Toronto. At BBX Quinn has held the role of senior sound designer and re-recording since 2021 in which he has guided films, television and commercials from creative call's all the way to final mix, ready for debut in theaters, on streaming platforms or cable.
Ever since he left the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College he has held a special place in Toronto's indie film scene. Early on in his career, while working in theater as a stage technician and live mixer, he met Bri Proke who took him on for her debut feature film Shark Week. Over 2 weeks Quinn recorded sound on set for the guerilla style shoot and followed up with sound designing, composing and mixing the post. He fell in love with the process of film making and how sound can bring out emotion in any scene.
Ever since then Quinn has been working with creative's in all mediums to support their project with sound. Finding the right tone, timing and timbre is an infectious, exciting process that he's brought to the table for projects like;

Always looking forward to the next story that requires a sound treatment, Quinn looks forward to continuing his career in collaborating with creatives on their audio needs.
