John Cena Wants To Enjoy One Last Run In WWE (Photo Credit – Instagram)
The 40th edition of WrestleMania or WrestleMania was truly a blast of entertainment and a package of adrenaline rush for all WWE fans. In this year’s show, John Cena coming back into the action was one of the biggest highlights, and every member of Cenation was on their feet. Match #1: Ilja Dragunov def. Shinsuke Nakamura The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In a shock befitting the Raw after WrestleMania, Nxt Champion Ilja Dragunov battled Shinsuke Nakamura for the first time ever. With Dragunov declared eligible for the 2024 WWE Draft, The Czar of Nxt looked to showcase his abilities, taking out Nakamura with a Constantine Special. The King of Strong Style used his feet to try to subdue Dragunov, but the Nxt Champion had too much resolve. After an H-Bomb and a Torpedo Moscow, the Nxt Champion won his first match on Monday Night Raw.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Awesome Truth & John Cena def. The Judgment Day The following is courtesy of wwe.

WrestleMania 40’s night one in Philadelphia was a spectacle of high-octane wrestling that lived up to the grandeur expected of such a storied event. The evening was headlined by a tag team match featuring Roman Reigns and The Rock against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, which delivered an electrifying performance, setting a dramatic tone for the rest Wrestlemania weekend! The stakes were incredibly high, with the outcome influencing the main event of night two, adding a layer of strategic depth to the match. Roman Reigns and The Rock took the win and if Cody Rhodes is going to “finish the story” he will be playing now by the Bloodline’s rules for night two!
The Bloodline’s presence was felt throughout the night, particularly in the emotionally charged match between estranged twin brothers Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, which showcased a personal family drama unfolding in the ring.

For nearly 40 years, WrestleMania has been the biggest wrestling show in the world. WWE’s “showcase of the immortals” has gifted fans with unforgettable moments and all-time great matches. It remains one of the cornerstones of the professional wrestling industry.
Yet, for all its grandeur and history, WrestleMania is often a surprisingly reliable source of historically bad moments. The biggest show of the year sometimes lets us down in ways that no lesser event ever could. That’s especially true of the worst matches in the show’s history.
Before we dive into those matches, keep in mind that I tried to draw a line between “boring” and “bad.” So, while there are many matches from WrestleMania‘s early days that look bad through modern eyes, many of those matches were short and ultimately pretty forgettable. Instead, Iwe focused on the matches that left the darkest clouds over WrestleMania‘s history.

Randy Orton is a renowned American professional wrestler who played a significant role in WWE during the early 2000s. Throughout his career, he has shared the ring with wrestling icons like John Cena, Aj Styles, and The Rock, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the world of sports entertainment.
Randy Orton
One reason for Randy Orton’s polarizing reputation stems from his portrayal as a real-life antagonist for a significant portion of his career. Terms like juvenile, immature, and unprofessional have been associated with the Viper due to various incidents over the years. It’s worth noting that many of these occurrences took place earlier in his career when he was still maturing as an individual. In fact, Orton once spent 38 days in a military prison when he was a Marine.

Match #1: #DIY def. The Creed Brothers The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite dominating during their time in Nxt, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have never had a match at WrestleMania, and this seemingly spurned them to leave it all on the line. Brutus and Julius Creed wowed the WWE Universe, especially when Julius lifted from his knees into a standing vertical suplex, showcasing his raw strength. The Creed Brothers continued their punishing attack, sending Ciampa through the announce table area and leaving Pat McAfee speechless. Julius and Brutus caught their opponents with tandem ankle locks, but Ciampa and Gargano countered into a Sicilian Stretch and Gargano Escape. Gargano scored the pinfall after both teams went back-and-forth with pin attempts.

Ever since its debut in 1969, Scooby-Doo has become one of the most treasured cartoons ever. From its unique narrative to iconic storylines, the cartoon show has spanned several episodes, series, movies, toys, games, and many more, with its characters and mythos a permanent part of popular culture.
The Scooby-Doo Gang
Even though there are several cartoons and animated series that enjoy similar popularity, what makes the adventures of Scooby-Doo and his friends is the countless crossovers they have had. From The Dark Knight to the Justice League and even Jensen Ackles’s Supernatural, the characters have had many memorable crossovers. But perhaps the best one was when they collaborated with WWE starring John Cena for an epic WrestleMania mystery.

Akira Tozawa gave his best effort against Shinsuke Nakamura but fell short. Tozawa looked great until he missed a Senton Bomb. Nakamura took advantage, finishing off the Alpha Academy hopeful with the Kinshasa.

Logan Paul has been called many things — YouTuber, amateur boxer, an abrasive personality — but now he can add United States Champion to that list.
The internet personality-turned-wrestler won the title, marking his first major championship in the WWE, after defeating Hall of Fame wrestler Rey Mysterio Saturday at the pay-per-view event Crown Jewel. In the match, Paul used the brass knuckles one of his cronies handed him to clock Mysterio and get the pin.

Plot: A group of underdog wrestlers try to make the big time.
Review: When people think of professional wrestling, they imagine the glitz and polish of the WWE, which has dominated the landscape for decades. Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler put a spotlight on what is the reality for most wrestlers out there, and that is the struggle they face to remain part of this business, to make money in it, to reconcile this grueling profession with their personal lives and individual demons. Netflix’s Wrestlers, a new docu-series from Emmy-winning filmmaker Greg Whiteley, has captured the everyday drama and struggle of professional wrestling in a way that has never been done before.
The series centers on Ohio Valley Wrestling. Chances are you’ve never heard of it. As someone who has grown up with professional wrestling, been in the ring a bit, and basically loves it with every fiber of my being,...

Match #1: Austin Theory def. LA Knight The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Austin Theory became the No. 1 Contender to the United States Championship after The Miz showed up to Friday Night SmackDown and cost LA Knight the match. Knight was on a mission to prove a point, especially with The Miz at ringside, as he bashed Theory’s face on the announce table right in front of The A-Lister. Sick and tired of Knight’s success, The Miz hopped off of commentary, and his distraction allowed Theory to roll up Knight and win the match, securing his championship opportunity.

For the July 17 edition of Weakest Link, hosted by Jane Lynch, eight WWE stars face off in a different match, but with the same smack talk as usual, especially from The Miz and Kofi Kingston. In TV Insider’s exclusive clip above, The Miz (a The Real World alum) incorrectly guessed iguana when asked to name the reptile that changes color based on its mood. As the grappler winces at the wrong answer, Lynch says the correct answer is chameleon. Kingston then compares WWE stars to chameleons, who have to “wear a lot of hats.” After saying Kingston tells The Miz he should know what a chameleon is, The Miz aggressively answers, “I’m just me! I am just a humble man!” Kingston mocks the suggestion that The Miz is humble as he continues his tirade. “A devoted father, a loving husband, and a simple man in a simple suit playing the Weakest Link.

Bad Bunny's superhero turn has been delayed. Back in April 2022, Sony announced that the rapper, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, had been cast in the lead role in Marvel's upcoming film "El Muerto." The movie was originally set to hit theaters in January 2024 and will mark the first time a Latinx actor will headline their own live-action Marvel film.
However, on June 22 Deadline reported that Sony had pulled the film from its release date schedule. That doesn't mean it's not coming eventually, though. The outlet said Bad Bunny's tour schedule and the WGA strike was the cause of the release delay. Popsugar reached out to Sony for confirmation but did not immediately receive a response.
Eventually, Bad Bunny will be taking on the role of a famous wrestler in the Spider-Man universe known as El Muerto, which is Spanish for "the dead one." Sony shared the exciting news at 2022 CinemaCon,...

A sequel to the Mortal Kombat movie from 2021 is on the way, and The Wrap reports tonight that Karl Urban (“The Boys”) is in final talks to join the cast as Johnny Cage.
The Wrap reminds, “Johnny Cage was introduced in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game in 1992. Johnny Cage is depicted as an action movie star with an extensive martial arts background. He is often characterized as a swashbuckling, Hollywood fighting movie star who places great importance on his image and consistently behaves in a cool manner.”
The star of Amazon’s hit series “The Boys,” Karl Urban turns 50 years old next month, so this particular take on the classic Mortal Kombat character is sure to be different than expected. Many fans had been lobbying for WWE superstar The Miz to play Cage in the upcoming sequel, but Urban’s casting will bring a whole new facet to the character.

Leave it to Snoop Dogg to emerge as the Most Valuable Performer of WrestleMania 39.
During a weekend that saw World Wrestling Entertainment set a two-night attendance record for their signature event, the company on the verge of being sold and Roman Reigns remaining the undisputed champion, the iconic rapper stepped up in an emergency.
Snoop Dogg was co-hosting a segment between matches on Sunday at SoFi Stadium with wrestler Mike “The Miz” Mizanin when he goaded Mizanin into an impromptu match with Shane McMahon, who made his appearance at a WWE event for the first time in 14 months. McMahon and Mizanin traded punches before McMahon tore his quad when he did a leapfrog maneuver while trying to avoid Mizanin.
Doctors checked on McMahon before he was helped out of the ring. Snoop Dogg then came back into the ring to continue the match, as he punched “The Miz” twice, then...

Snoop Dogg’s title as the “Doggfather of WrestleMania” remains in good standing after he stepped into the ring on Sunday at WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California. The rapper’s surprise appearance came moments after Shane McMahon’s grand return was cut short by a blown-out knee during his spar with host The Miz, leaving Snoop Dogg to save the day.
Stepping into the ring, the rapper delivered a swift right hook to The Miz, who immediately fell to the mat. Tossing his mic to the ground and his sunglasses into the crowd,...

Becky G kicked off WWE WrestleMania 39 at SoFi Stadium in California in Inglewood — the first time in some 18 years since it has been held in California — with a resonating performance of “America the Beautiful.”
The Inglewood native took to the ring in a strappy, sequined blue-and-black number to belt the anthemic tune, as a screen showed the American flag waving in the wind. Becky G was also made an honorary Latino World Order (Lwo) member.

WWE will hold its biggest event of the year, WrestleMania, this weekend, April 1 and 2, and, in anticipation, several wrestlers have joined Wheel of Fortune for a WWE-themed week of quizzing. But not everybody is having a good time. The WWE Week, which kicked off on Monday (March 27), sees WWE superstars teaming up with regular contestants to spin and win, with the three winners with the highest totals coming back on Friday (March 31) to play in a championship game. Drew McIntyre, Xavier Woods, and Carmella got things rolling on Monday, which featured a funny moment when a contestant gave an Nsfw answer. Other competing wrestlers throughout the week included The Miz, Bayley, Kofi Kingston, Liv Morgan, Austin Theory, and more. Never seen Pat intimidated like this before @_Theory1 @WWE pic.twitter.com/RdpKkGjtLD — Wheel of Fortune (@WheelofFortune) March 29, 2023 The reaction from viewers at home has been mixed, to say the least.

Music star Bad Bunny will host wrestling powerhouse WWE’s Backlash event in Puerto Rico this May.
The May 6 show will air live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, marking the first WWE premium live event to take place in Puerto Rico since January 2005.
“In 2005 when I was a kid, I wasn’t able to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo,” said Bad Bunny. “Finally, 18 years later WWE returns to the island with a massive event, and this time I won’t miss it.”
On the company’s calendar of premium live events, previously known as pay-per-views, Backlash traditionally follows WrestleMania, WWE’s equivalent of the Super Bowl. This year, WrestleMania 39, also promoted as “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood,” will be held as a two-night event on April 1 and 2 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

Match #1: Sami Zayn def. Baron Corbin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
As Sami Zayn was leaving, he was blindsided by Baron Corbin. Zayn fought back, however, and requested the impromptu match. Corbin had the upper hand, hitting a Chokeslam Backbreaker, but Zayn’s resolve was too much. Zayn surprised Corbin with the Helluva Kick to earn the bounce-back win.
