A 20-year-old Disney Channel star is accused of kicking a friend in the stomach after the pair allegedly got into an argument, People confirms.
Uriah Shelton, who acted in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and Disney’s Girl Meets World, was hit with a restraining order after the alleged incident, according to court documents obtained by People.
A woman who described herself as Shelton’s former best friend said in the documents that the pair argued after she tried to block him from getting into his truck.

Here comes the money! Shane O’Mac is back, shaking and shuffling up the wrestling world. But, if we can pause for a moment, how sad is it that the product has grown so stale that a non-wrestler received the biggest pop in years? It will probably be the loudest reaction we hear until the triumphant return of Linda!
Well, elsewhere in the wrestling world, Dean Ambrose stole an ambulance, so we can only assume he’ll be out of WrestleMania along with John Cena and Randy Orton, because he will be in jail. Vince McMahon dropped the F-bomb on Monday’s Raw, a show where the wrestlers themselves remind us is PG programming. Will he suspend himself for 60 days for unprofessional conduct? No chance in hell!

Tna’s Impact Wrestling continues to be a weekly fascination for wrestling fans, all the more so because the company has resorted to using 3-month-old tapings to fill gaps in their schedule and cobble together a World Title tournament. With that knowledge, Impact is only more curious to watch, a bizarre mess in which continuity is frequently flung out the window and viewers simply wonder what peculiar logical blip is going to show up next.
The wrestling itself is still fine, of course, though the sheer amount of filler material makes it clear that Tna are struggling to get through this patch, ahead of their upcoming TV tapings in India and the UK. Nobody wants to see the company die, but they’re painting a pretty depressing image right now, one that’s unaided by some slapdash production issues to boot.

With the news this week that Destination America has seemingly “cancelled” Impact Wrestling and reportedly given Tna until February to find a new network, they really need to start pulling out the stops to prove to potential business partners that they’re still worth dealing with.
Sadly, this week’s show did pretty much anything but that: it was a highly padded two hours, and even the widely-advertised main event couldn’t do much to spark excitement.
That said, all the usual weirdness still showed up in shades, from EC3 and Jeff Hardy’s entertaining shenanigans, to Mahabali Shera’s terrible dancing and more outrageously bad commentary zingers from Josh Matthews.
Can Tna bring the sinking ship to shore before it’s too late? Or is this week’s news just the latest announcement in the company’s long, drawn-out death?
Whatever happens, here are 20 Wtf...

As both Lethal Lockdown and Bound for Glory draw ever-closer, the Tna vs Gfw feud is ramping up to be something that’s potentially fascinating. Jeff Jarrett is back to playing a heel (where he easily looks the most comfortable), Tna’s roster members are struggling to co-exist, and Gfw are desperately trying to get a hold of as many of their titles as humanly possible.
This week, while hardly a remarkable show, was a potent reminder of the storyline’s potential, while also serving up more EC3 hilarity, all the more so given his newfound employment of Jeff Hardy as an assistant. In addition, Josh Matthews’ painful commentary reached new highs of cringe, the show had clearly been stitched together from various different tapings, and viewers got treated to one of the most pointless Lumberjack matches in wrestling history.

This week’s Impact Wrestling had a lot to answer for after last week’s shocking revelation that Karen and Jeff Jarrett were the masterminds behind the recent chaos in Tna. Though this storyline is evidently going to be slow-bled for a while (possibly leading to a huge showdown at Bound for Glory?), the wheels sure got turning this week, with a number of bizarre and unexpected moments leading the way.
As usual, fans had terrible signs and EC3 cut a promo you won’t soon forget, while Jeff Hardy made a career change for the foreseeable future, and a number of Tna talents showed up to reminder you that, yes, they are still employed by the company. Sure, Josh Matthews continued to lie about Impact trending worldwide and he had to shill more lame Destination America shows, but hey, he didn’t embarrass himself as much as usual this week,...

No, don’t be alarmed, Bully Ray is very much alive in real life. This week’s Impact finally started the wheels turning for a Tna-gfw invasion storyline, and served up one genuine surprise that many fans may not have seen coming.
As ever, Josh Matthews’ commentary was ear-assaultingly awful, EC3’s mic skills were off the chain, about half the decisions wrestlers made didn’t make any sense, and of course, the Knockouts were again wildly misused.
It may not have been a great Impact overall this week, but it ended memorably and will certainly leave fans eager to see how things play out leading to Bound for Glory, where Jeff Jarrett will hopefully take advantage of the Gfw storyline’s major potential.
Here are 20 Wtf moments from this week’s Impact…

The Tna-gfw partnership continues to heat up as the Tna World Heavyweight title risks slipping through the promotion’s fingers, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg: Jeff Jarrett’s presence became even more pronounced on this week’s show, signalling significant (and possibly very Wtf) changes coming for Tna’s future.
That’s not all, though: this week’s Impact featured a bizarre blend of peculiar fan interaction, a number of tragically WCW-inspired moments, more of Josh Matthews’ horrendous attempts at commentary, and the Tna’s Knockouts going hardcore (but not in the way you expect…or possibly hope).
It looks like Tna are playing the long game as far as the Gfw angle is concerned, though with the lingering rumours of Tna’s TV deal with Destination America being up in the air, perhaps now is the time to strike. Without question, the end...

This week’s Impact Wrestling show was one of the more consistent in recent weeks, rebounding from Slammiversary’s momentum and setting up some interesting possibilities for the company’s future, depending on how long its tenure on Destination America actually lasts.
To its credit, the show featured a ton more wrestling than laboured storytelling, and in particular gave Rockstar Spud probably the best match of his Tna career so far. It may have been missing a number of key talents, but the roster it did have put on a solid show. Whether the ratings will reflect this, though, remains to be seen.
As ever, though, there are those bewilderingly funny and cringe-worthy moments that define just about any major wrestling show, with Tna being no exception…

When Samoa Joe debuted on WWE Nxt on Wednesday, the announcers immediately treated it like a big deal and bigged up his star power in an excited way. Joe’s shirt also said “Samoa Joe” right on it.
What about the people at home watching that may not have known who he was? Surely there were some of them. Not all of them are reading about wrestling online or watching other companies. That led to Tna Wrestling play by play announcer Josh Mathews going on Twitter to question WWE for it.
How did the @Wwenxt announcers know who @SamoaJoe was if we are #obscurity in their world? Sick of hypocrisy.
— Josh Mathews (@realjoshmathews) May 22, 2015
The reason Mathews said that is because Joe worked for Tna for nearly ten years before parting ways earlier this year. Before that, Joe first made a name for himself in Ring of Honor.

It’s the news that shocked the wrestling world last week. Tazz, one ‘Z’ or two? Left Tna by mutual consent.
A lot of rumours took the internet by storm speculating why the former Human Suplex Machine left the company in what seemed to be a blink of an eye.
Was it because he wanted a pay rise? Was it because of creative differences? Was it due to a falling out with broadcast colleague Josh Mathews? There was a lot of options it could have been.
The man now known as The Human Podcast Machine set the record straight on his show by revealing that he requested leave from his contract as his pay checks were arriving late in the mail. He was still receiving them, just not when he was meant to.
He also revealed that his contract with Dixie Carter’s company was up in the summer,...

It was another crazy week in the wide world of wrestling. Adam Rose turned his back on a man in a bunny costume, Cesaro was fed to Ryback, and Renee Young decided to dress up as a zombie Native American for Halloween, because being insensitive in WWE is always a good career move! If you don’t believe me, just ask Michael Cole (calling Josh Matthews a gay slur on Twitter), Jbl (once insinuated the former governor of New Jersey who is a homosexual likes little boys) and Michael Hayes (Vince McMahon’s favorite old-school racist). Renee, I thought you were different!
In the most confusing and horribly dated statement of the week, Michael Cole said that The Bunny “Twerking” looked like Charlie Chaplin. How does that make any sense? Do Cole and Jbl have a weekly competition to come up with the more outdated entertainment reference? Hey guys,...

We are a month removed from WrestleMania season, a time of the WWE year that is drenched with hype and prediction and potential. Heading into Extreme Rules, the card seems like it could be good and there is potential for some of the matches to really turn some heads. So let’s get into this review shall we?
The pre-show for Extreme Rules consisted of an “expert panel” featuring Josh Matthews, Booker T, Alex Riley and Sheamus and they discussed the upcoming event and the matches booked upon it. We then went to ringside for the pre-show match.
Extreme Rules Pre-show Match – WeeLC Match – Hornswoggle vs. El Torito
What the hell is a WeeLC match, you may ask. Well, I asked the same damn thing. Is it a match in which combatants can use chairs, ladders and urine to defeat their opponents? No, it isn’t, though that sure would have been a spectacle.

Earlier this week, WWE announced that Tough Enough would be returning on WWE Network. While no date was given, it’s likely being planned as we speak if they were willing to mention during their latest conference call.
There have been five seasons of Tough Enough in WWE history starting in 2001. Notable names from that season included Maven, Nidia, Chris Nowinski and Josh Mathews, who is still with WWE as an announcer. The first three seasons aired on MTV. For the 4th season, they had a different format because they had the competitors traveling to Smackdown every week to compete in challenges that were aired during the show.
The most recent season of Tough Enough took place in 2011 with Andy Leavine chosen as the winner. A lot of fans didn’t like the choice because Leavine didn’t appear to be as talented as the likes of Luke Robinson...

Here we are, finally, at the thirtieth annual WrestleMania event, live from the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Let’s get to the results shall we?
There was a two hour long pre-show for this event that aired on the WWE Network and in other areas of media. The pre-show featured a panel of guys like Mick Foley, Booker T and Shawn Michaels, along with Josh Matthews, discussing the upcoming matches and the spectacle of the event itself. The second hour brought us the pre-show match.
The match in question that aired on the pre-show was the four-way tag team elimination match between the defending champions, The Uso’s, The Real Americans, Ryback & Axel and Los Matadores. The match was okay, allowing each team to get some chances to show their capabilities and shine. The final two teams in the match were The Uso’s and The Real Americans, with...

Alberto Del Rio defends his World title here against the challenger, Rob Van Dam under hardcore rules. Ricardo is in Rvd’s corner for the match. The fans are into the match early on with a number of signature moves from Van Dam, including a Ddt onto a chair, a moonsault from the ringside barrier and the introduction of a ladder which gets a loud reaction. Del Rio hits a good looking back stabber and a high kick to the back of Van Dam’s head.

Since The Authority has made themselves known in WWE over the last few months, many have found the product hard to watch. For a while there was solace in the development of Nxt as a micro-universe inside the overall WWE corporate struct. But more and more, there seems to be crossover in the last few weeks. With the mention of Xavier Woods and the addition of Jbl as the interim general manager of the show, no place is safe from the Authority. Let’s talk about it, beginning with this week’s Main Event.
Main Event comes to you from Birmingham, Alabama this week. The Miz and Josh Matthews are on commentary for this episode. Matthews with his shoulder in a sling is selling the attack by all Alberto del Rio last Friday on Smackdown. Apparently he didn’t care of the unsafe work environment that he complained about after the incident.

First off, let me apologize for no Raw thoughts this week. I haven’t been feeling that well lately. That’s no excuse for not having content up. But I just want to let you know what’s going on.
Raw definitely saw a lot of interesting things. We saw interactions between Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels setting up Hell in a Cell. Punk beat the clock and put himself in a handicap match with Ryback and Paul Heyman in Satan’s structure. Plus, we got great matches from Daniel Bryan and Alberto del Rio and a great tag team title match between the Rhodes family against Rollins and Reigns of the Shield.
The title change this past Monday definitely shook up the landscape of WWE. The tag division is getting focused on once again as the Usos are looking for their shot against the new gatekeepers. Along with that...

When the Main Event was relaunched last year, reports were that Ion Television , specifically said they didn’t want it to become another Superstars. Apparently one year later, that plan has gone we have to wonder if the Wednesday night program will go the way of the dodo? Remember when they would build matches on Main Event with video packages having one featured contest? Now, it just seems like another show. If you need any illustration that this happened, check out this week’s episode from Columbus, Ohio.
We begin the night with Josh Matthews and Alex Riley at the announce desk. Riley’s arm is in a sling apparently after having shoulder surgery. I guess the Miz isn’t coming back anytime soon.

It’s been one of those weeks in WWE where things haven’t been looking the greatest. The Raw rating was the the lowest since December, and maybe the powers that be might want to rethink their strategy.
People in Stamford may tell you that it’s due to one person’s inability to get over, but it’s much, much deeper than that. Instead of going into a long diatribe, I will show you what the problem is and how in the same company things are done better. Let’s look at this week’s editions of WWE Main Event and Nxt.

This past Monday on Raw, the roster rose up against their corporate oppressors to help out Daniel Bryan battle against the Shield. The ripple effects of this and the treatment of Dusty Rhodes carried over into the Main Event and gave hints of crossing over to future events of Nxt as well. Let’s talk about the Main Event first.
This week Main Event came from my surrogate hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio . Alex Riley, subbing for the decimated Miz thanks to Randy Orton, sat alongside Josh Matthews to call the action. Interesting enough, they did not replay the footage of the attack on Monday.
The action begins with the spiritual son of Curt Hennig (Dolph Ziggler) versus the biological son of the WWE Hall of Famer Curtis Axel. The third-generation athlete came out along with Paul Heyman in a wheelchair with Ryback following behind. It’s really interesting to see...

WWE's annual "Night of Champions" show has arrived, and there is one person noticeably missing from the card. After losing the WWE Championship at "SummerSlam" in August, John Cena is on the shelf, recovering from injury. That's why Triple H, acting as the new evil corporate honcho, has christened Randy Orton as WWE Champion and the new face of the company.
The show is headlined by Daniel Bryan getting his WWE Title rematch against Orton, after weeks of insults and attacks by the extended McMahon family. Now's the time for the company to show they actually have faith in Bryan being the top guy for a while. It only seems fair as he's one of the most talented wrestlers on the planet and arguably the most popular one at the moment.
The scheduled card for the show is below:Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE ChampionshipCM Punk vs.

Just a few days away from Detroit and the Night of Champions, WWE made quite the stop on the Main Event and Nxt. Was it the gold standard for the company or did they come up a little short? Let’s talk about that. We’re going to switch things up this week, beginning with Nxt.
Nxt begins with the Certified Gees Colin Cassidy and Enzo Amore coming out to a loud reaction. Enzo talks about his recent problems with Sylvester LeFort’s new legionnaire Alexander Rusev and Scott Dawson. LeFort comes out and insults the Italian imitators with his charges Capt. Roughneck Scott Dawson and the Hungarian warrior Alexander Rusev. The tag match itself was awkward as the two teams really didn’t gel well. Heel versus heel really doesn’t work all that well. The crowd was definitely behind Certified Gees of Amore and Cassidy. There was definitely...

After Monday’s Raw, the corporate machine has really made an impact on the WWE roster. With the breakdown of the world’s largest athlete and the firing of Cody Rhodes, it definitely seems to be a theme of the wrong place wrong time with the new regime. And that carried over strangely to Main Event and Nxt as weird booking was in effect.
Josh Matthews welcomes us to Minneapolis, Minnesota alongside the returning Alex Riley. I love Riley in this role. He really does a great job in getting the sports analogies much like Jim Ross. We actually get a double dose this week as he commentates Nxt as well.
The night begins as Fandango goes against Justin Gabriel. The match itself was nothing spectacular not like Gabriel’s brand-new shirt that looks like the spokesman for Jack’s Links Beef Jerky Other than a dive to the outside...

WWE Monday Night Raw opens tonight with Hhh standing in the middle of the ring in his suit and tie. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rolling are standing beside the ring with their championship belts draped over their shoulders. We’re live.
Hhh introduces the “Face of WWE”, Randy Orton, who hits the ring to pretty decent heat from the crowd before grabbing the microphone and talking about how Daniel Bryan is nothing more than a “B+ player”. Hhh tells the crowd that Daniel Bryan is similar to what Doink The Clown was and that Doink was never champion because it would have been bad for business, the same as if Bryan were to win the WWE title. Bryan’s music plays while the new corporation continue to insult the former American Dragon, the fans pop loud for Bryan who stands on the stage in his ring gear and...

Last week, we saw a new corporate culture emerge on the WWE’s flagship broadcast Monday Night Raw. This new regime of the COO and the McMahons made clear their new chosen son, Randy Orton, and their opinion on the People’s champion Daniel Bryan. Triple H gave the reasoning for the boardroom takeover of the WWE title as it being better for business. Is it really? That question became more pronounced on this weeks edition from Phoenix, Arizona.
The show begins with Triple H coming out recapping the last week of WWE surprisingly glossing over Smackdown. He says that he had no problem with Daniel Bryan until he insulted his wife last week. Now it’s personal. Triple H gloats by saying, Randy Orton has been good for business. He says ratings are up, social media buzz is at an all-time high and business is booming. He then brings out the champion.

Less than two weeks after the WWE and GLAAD teamed up to say they were going to work together to curb homophobic slurs in wrestling, one of the WWE's top announcers tweeted one at a fellow announcer. Earlier today, Michael Cole simply tweeted one disgusting word towards fellow announcer Josh Mathews . Cole quickly took down the tweet and apologized, posting: The WWE and GLAAD announced a partnership on March 17 to try and put an end...

Despite being killed off as a series when Chairman Vince McMahon announced that WWE would drop the Survivor Series name and rebrand the event in last February, November saw the explosive return of the PPV spectacular, and that show is now available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray.
With a card boasting the collected talents of Kane, Randy Orton, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Big Show and Alberto Del Rio, the star quality is certainly there, but the question is: how does an event cope with being so cruelly undermined by the man pulling the power strings?
This year’s event was undoubtedly headlined, both in billing and in intrigue by the face-off between Randy Orton and former Nexus leader, and one of few resident Brits on the WWE rosta, Wade Barrett, with the added interest of the outcome supposedly deciding John Cena’s fate as a WWE employee.
