From Nicki Minaj telling Heidi N Closet, “I hate, hate, hate your hair and makeup today,” to RuPaul announcing, “I don’t want to see any f–ing H&m,” some Drag Race critiques are instant classics. This week, we got another one.
Allow me to set the stage: Episode 3 of All Stars 8 invited the remaining contestants to a Supermarket Ball, where each queen would show off a look in three separate categories — Legen-Dairy, Fruity Patootie and Supermarket Supermodel.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World marked the first time queens from various international franchises came together for an All Stars-style competition. The six-episode season functioned in the same way as older seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, as each week the top two queens lip sync for the power to eliminate one of the bottom queens.
In the end, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 1 album Blu Hydrangea came out on top, earning the title of Queen of the Mothertucking World. The prize for the season was...

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 welcomed larger-than-life personalities to the Emmy Award-winning series, including Silky Nutmeg Ganache. Ganache is a beloved fan-favorite queen today, but on her original run on season 11, she rubbed some fans the wrong way, thanks in part to her outburst in the Untucked lounge that has become a part of Drag Race herstory.

Backstage on the third episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11, Silky wanted to let everyone know that she was prepared to take down whoever she had to in a lip sync to keep her spot in the competition.
“If I would’ve lip synced for my motherf***ing life today, b****,” she said, tearing off her outfit to reveal a bodysuit underneath, “I was motherf***ing ready! I was ready to do so!”

For years, the Drag Race fan base has been begging for an international version of the show which would see queens from all over the world compete against one another to be crowned queen of the universe. In fact, all the way back in 2021 I wrote a fantasy cast for such a show, with many of the queens I wanted to appear actually making an appearance! Fans (myself included) were eagerly anticipating an international season to see how the different drag styles would clash and hopefully would provide opportunities for insightful cultural exchanges. However, I don’t think there has been been a season of drag race that has caused so much outrage and controversy than the first-ever season of Drag Race UK vs The World. From jaw-dropping, queen-elected eliminations to supposed purposefully thrown lip-syncs to Jujubee and Baga Chips deciding to showcase some of the worst outfits on the...

Canada’s Drag Race teased a massive guest for its latest season: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau! This isn’t the first time RuPaul’s fantastic competition series has gotten political, with figures like Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appearing on the original series, but Trudeau has the distinction of being the first world leader on the show, which is certainly impressive.
This new season will be taking on the new “Vs. The World,” format first introduced in Drag Race U.K. which is an “all stars” system that combines queens from all over the international franchises of the show.
Queens from U.S. Drag Race Ra’Jah O’Hara and Silky Nutmeg Ganache are returning, while Canada alums Icesis Couture, Kendall Gender, Rita Baga and Stephanie Prince are also getting a second chance.
Unfortunately, it looks like Trudeau was too busy to stay to guest judge as he just makes a brief appearance in the Queens’ workroom.
