Popular game show format “Deal or No Deal” is making a comeback on U.K. broadcaster ITV and streamer Itvx.
In the show, a contestant is confronted with 22 sealed boxes, each one hiding a different amount of money. Without knowing what each one contains, the contestant must eliminate the boxes, which are opened one at a time, and the amount of money inside is revealed. Pressure mounts as the player is tempted by the Banker to accept an offer of cash in exchange for what might be inside their box. As long as the larger cash prizes remain unchosen, the Banker’s offers will get higher. But that can all change in an instant if a big cash prize is unveiled.
The show will be hosted by Stephen Mulhern (“In for a Penny”) and produced by Banijay U.K.’s Remarkable Entertainment. It will be filmed at dock10 studios.

U.S. broadcaster Fox may still be making up its mind about a second season of “The Masked Dancer,” but over in the U.K., ITV is hitting the dance floor for another round.
The British commercial broadcaster has commissioned Scottish production company Bandicoot for Season 2 of the entertainment series, which first premiered in May. The Argonon Group-backed outfit also makes “The Masked Singer” for ITV, which comes back for Season 3 on Jan. 1, just days after holiday special “The Masked Singalong” airs on Christmas Day.
Season 2 of “The Masked Dancer” will return with an 8 x 90′ episode order in 2022.
Joel Dommett returns for hosting duties and will be joined by a panel set to be announced next year. Last year’s celebrity judges included Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, with the likes of John Bishop, Holly Willoughby and David Walliams also joining as special guests for the first season.

ITV has confirmed that it is dusting off Family Fortunes after the entertainment show was last on British television in 2015.
Deadline first revealed in April that ITV was piloting the format in a lockdown environment with Fremantle label Thames, and now the game show, which is based on America’s Family Feud, will return for a 10-part series.
UK chef Gino D’Acampo will host, presiding over two families competing to win cash prizes by second-guessing the responses to a survey of the British public.
Vernon Kay hosted the UK show’s most recent iteration, All Star Family Fortunes, between 2006 and 2015, while Les Dennis and Bob Monkhouse were among the presenters of previous series.
Filming will take place on the new series later this summer. Family Fortunes was commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s head of entertainment, and entertainment commissioner Joe Mace. Ash Whitehouse is the executive producer.

British comedian John Bishop is going to cast a satirical eye over the week’s events in a new topical entertainment show for ITV.
Details on the new format were thin, but it was unveiled at the ITV Palooza, an annual upfronts event at which the broadcaster attempts to wow advertisers with its line-up for the weeks and months ahead.
John Bishop at the Weekend will be made by Bishop’s production company, Lola Entertainment, and features the comedian looking back over the week’s news with contributors and special guests, some of whom may star regularly.
Bishop is no stranger to ITV’s entertainment line-up. Known for his everyman humor, the Liverpudlian was a guest host on the broadcaster’s ill-fated The Nightly Show and fronted The Royal Variety Performance in 2013.
Elsewhere, he presented The John Bishop Show for UKTV channel W, in which he conducted in-depth interviews with celebrities,...
