-A 2010 graduate of UQAM's Bachelor of Television program, Maude Sabbagh has quickly carved out a place for herself in the industry. At Zone 3, since 2011, she has participated in the development of several concepts and produced a variety of programs (Face à la rue, Faire oeuvre utile, MK ULTRA: la fin du silence, Histoires de coming out, Les coulisses du BYEBYE 2020, La vie après, Code F, Arrêter le temps).
In 2014, she wrote and directed her first feature-length documentary "Bull Jumping", broadcast on Canal D in 2016.
At the same time, she conceived and produced a 30-second TV commercial for the famous play "Broue".
She directed the documentary "La mort m'a dit" (Ici Radio-Canada), worked on "Code F" and "Code G", and wrote a Gémeaux-nominated documentary series for Trinôme on the behind-the-scenes aspects of bariatric surgery.
For the same company, she wrote and directed the documentary series "Face à la rue" seasons 1 and 2 (nominated for a Gémeaux award for best direction).
She worked on a documentary series for the Unis channel about women motorcycle enthusiasts, "Filles de moto".
She co-directed seasons 1 and 2 of the documentary series "Faire oeuvre utile" on ARTV, for which she won a Gémeaux for best direction and best biography/portrait documentary series.
In 2018, she began her third feature-length documentary about Dave Morisette in Compostela: "Dave Morissette - Arrêter le temps", which also won a Gémeaux award.
She also directed a 6-episode documentary series, "La vie après sur Z", which profiles professional field hockey players who must define themselves after a career as a professional athlete.
Fueled by challenges and endowed with great sensitivity, Maude is constantly on the lookout for the truest, most meaningful way to touch people. While her field of action is vast, her leitmotif is human relationships, both in front of and behind the camera. She wants to shed light where there's the least of it.
