Two months after winning “America’s Got Talent” Season 14, singer and pianist Kodi Lee headlined his own show at the Paris Theater in Las Vegas. Kodi was joined by fellow “Agt” finalists Detroit Youth Choir, stand-up comedian Ryan Niemiller, dance group V. Unbeatable and violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa for a week of sold-out live shows. Gold Derby chatted with Kodi and his mother, Tina, backstage at the Paris, where he relived his concert series and his Golden Buzzer audition video that went viral. Watch our Kodi Lee interview above.

“America’s Got Talent” viewers are heartbroken. Even though their front-runner to win Season 14, blind autistic singer Kodi Lee, wound up taking home the $1 million prize during Wednesday’s finale, things didn’t go according to plan for Indian dance crew V.Unbeatable. The inspirational acrobatic act was predicted to be the runners-up to Kodi, but instead ended up coming in fourth place. Upon hearing the bad news, the dancers broke down in tears on the Dolby Theatre stage, and that’s when judge Julianne Hough stepped in to console them (watch above).

Singer Kodi Lee won “Agt” over choral group Detroit Youth Choir in one of the closest votes ever when the final results were revealed on Wednesday’s episode. Our “America’s Got Talent” winner predictions had expected this to be a tight race between Kodi and Emanne Beasha, the little girl with the big voice. But she did not even make the top 5.
That 10-year-old opera singer Emanne Beasha lost “Agt” was a shock. Perhaps “America’s Got Talent” viewers did not want another young girl to win again so soon after the back-to-back wins by two 12-year olds in 2017 (ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer) and 2016 (singer Grace VanderWaal).
Following Kodi Lee in first place was host Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer act Detroit Youth Chori, third-place finisher comedian Ryan Niemiller, tumblers V. Unbeatable in fourth, and quartet Voices of Service rounding out the top five.

Kodi had been singled out for the Golden Buzzer by new judge Gabrielle Union. We had not expected Detroit Youth Choir, who got the Golden Buzzer from the show’s host Terry Crews, to do so well given that no group variety act has won “Agt.”
Rather, we thought the race would be between Kodi and child singing sensation Emanne Beasha, who was guest judge Jay Leno‘s Golden Buzzer act. At just 10 years of age,...

America’s certainly got talent — this summer, mostly in the form of Kodi Lee. The singer-songwriter beat the other nine finalists (and a whole bunch more before that) to be crowned the 2019 “America’s Got Talent” champion.
The second part of NBC’s two-hour Season 14 finale aired Wednesday night, when Lee was named the winner. The Detroit Youth Choir was the runner-up.
Lee, who is blind and autistic, wowed the judges all season long. During the finale, he teamed up with pop star Leona Lewis, who won “The X Factor U.K.” in 2006.
Other guests performers during the finale included Macklemore, reggaeton star Ozuna, pianist Lang Lang, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Cher.
Magician Shin Lim won the million-dollar prize and a Las Vegas residency last summer.

The “America’s Got Talent” winner will be revealed on Wednesday’s live results show. Kodi Lee may regret being the “America’s Got Talent” frontrunner from the very start of season 14. With just hours left before he performs in the “Agt” final on Tuesday September 17, this singing sensation has seen his lead over child prodigy Emanne Beasha shrink. The little girl with a grown-up voice has pulled perilously close to him in our exclusive poll of “America’s Got Talent” viewers.
Beasha and Lee have never faced off against each other. Each got a Golden Buzzer which sent them straight to the quarterfinals. Lee was the highlight of the first quarterfinal while Beasha shone on the third show. They then appeared on separate semifinals. Lee was the stand-out act on the first semifinal on Sept. 3 while Beasha stole the show on the Sept. 10 second semifinal. Tuesday’s live final on NBC will bring us the much-anticipated title bout of Kodi Lee vs. Emanne Beasha.

Only five of the acts will make it through to next week’s finals. The three acts with the most votes automatically move forward while the bottom five are eliminated. Host Terry Crews will reveal the three acts in fourth, fifth and sixth place in the popular vote. Each of these is eligible for the Dunkin’ Save, a live vote that takes place during the results show. The biggest vote-getter will earn the fourth spot with the judges then choosing between the other two for the final slot.

It’s official: The final wild card spot of “America’s Got Talent” Season 14 has been given to dog act Lukas & Falco. And as you’d expect, this is not good news for fans of Charlotte Summers, as they’re seriously disappointed their favorite 13-year-old singer now officially has no shot of winning NBC’s reality TV show.
This talented singer from Marbella, Spain was believed to be a front-runner to receive the wild card in the Semifinals considering the dramatic way in which she was booted from the show. As you’ll recall, Charlotte’s song choice of Shirley Bassey‘s “Diamonds Are Forever” was chastised by all four “Agt” judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough — which brought the talented teen to tears.
