Hyderabad, May 13 (Ians) Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen was fined 10% of his match fee, while Lucknow Super Giants’ Amit Mishra was reprimanded for breaching the Ipl Code of Conduct during Saturday’s match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday.

Hyderabad, May 13 (Ians) The Match No.58 of Ipl 2023 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Supergiants on Saturday had to be stopped for nearly 10 minutes due to the unruly behaviour of the crowd behind the visiting team dugout at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The stoppage in play during the 19th over of the first innings happened after Hyderabad had been controversially denied a free hit as Lucknow reviewed an on-field call by the square-leg umpire, who deemed the ball from pacer Avesh Khan to batter Abdul Samad was above waist height and called it a no-ball.
After seeing the replays, the third umpire Yeshwant Barde overturned the decision despite the ball appearing to reach the crease above Samad’s waist. The call though was marginal as Samad was slightly crouching at that time, leaving the batter as well as non-striker Heinrich Klaasen unimpressed and the square-leg umpire giving a bemused look.

Hyderabad, May 13 (Ians) Heinrich Klaasen was on the offensive against spinners in making 47 while Abdul Samad provided a finishing touch with 37 not out to carry Sunrisers Hyderabad to 182/6 in 20 overs against Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday.
On a pitch which had turn for the spinners, as seen from Lucknow captain Krunal Pandya’s 2-24, Klaasen and Samad added 58 runs for the sixth wicket to give Hyderabad something to defend in an innings in which many got starts, but couldn’t translate into a big score.
Electing to bat first, Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma hit three fours in the first two overs, before the latter was beaten for pace and bounce by one banged in from Yudhvir Singh and took the glove edge to the keeper.

Jaipur, May 8 (Ians) Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram was a relieved man after his team chased down 215 on the last ball against Rajasthan Royals while admitting that emotions changed very quickly when Abdul Samad hit a six on a free-hit delivery off Sandeep Sharma to lead the 2016 Ipl winners to a four-wicket victory.
“Emotions turned quite quickly, nice for us to get over the line. Chasing 215 isn’t easy, and the guys contributed all along to chase a big target. We knew in a quick outfield like this we’ll score more than expected, but we had to be aggressive,” he said in the post-match presentation ceremony.
Abhishek Sharma top-scored with 55, while Rahul Tripathi contributed a fine 47, followed by cameos of 26 and 25 from Heinrich Klassen and Glenn Phillips.
“Abhishek started us off, and then Tripathi gave him company. Then those cameos from Phillips and Klaasy. I think you got to...
