In his most recent projects, André Hawk was responsible for the cinematography of the documentary A Girl Called Marina, produced by Espiral Produções and directed by Candé Salles, which was released in October 2019. Between 2019 and 2020 he also directed the photography for the Rio de Janeiro leg of the documentary "A Beautiful World" by photographer Mário Testino. He was the BTS cinematographer for the first and second seasons of the Globoplay original series "Desalma" (2019 and 2021). In 2020, he directed the medium-length film "Tônia, A Diva no Espelho" featuring actress Lana Rhodes and also directed the photography for the short film "O Peixe" by Natasha Jascalevich. In 2022, he was photography director for the short film "Travessia" by Juliane Araújo and Caio Blat, and produced the making-ofs for Encantados, Vicky e a Musa and Todas As Flores, for Globoplay. He was also the director of photography for the second season of "Desafio Nas Escolas" with Fábio Porchat, directed by Paulo Dary. In 2023, he was director of photography and associate producer on Rebecca Noguchi's directorial debut in the short film "Pandemonium", which was awarded Best Cinematography at the New York Cinematography Awards // NYCA, as well as the Barcelona Indie Awards // BIAIF.
