It has been nearly 14 years since Chicago Fire first graced our screens.
As the original series that spawned an entire TV universe, the firefighter-focused arm of One Chicago has remained widely popular.
Throughout Season 12, Chicago Fire brought in between five and seven million viewers each week.
This season was full of ups and downs, and we're finally ready to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
From Severide's return to Sylvie's exit, many characters were in and out this season.
Jack Damon and Lizzie Novak (if that is even her name) joined the crew, while Boden's big promotion took him off the roster.

It's a time of change at York Memorial Hospital, and that's not working out for much of the staff.
Most doctors labored to find their footing on Transplant Season 3 Episode 4, whether at work or in their private lives.
Not even Dr. Neeta Devi, the new Emerg director who replaced the beloved Dr. Jed Bishop, has been spared from this soul searching.
Neeta was hired to implement a patient-centric philosophy in the department to make the process more tolerable.
However, she's quickly learning what sounds good in an academic paper can be challenging to sell in a real hospital.
Even Dr. Neil Olsen, the arrogant medical director (is that phrase redundant?) who hired Neeta, backs her policy only as long as it doesn't inconvenience him.
Neeta is having to go along to get along. An example of this was, at the insistence of Dr. Novak and Dr. Singh, allowing Bash to...

It's been a season of change for Bashir and Magalie.
Bash has always been asked to work below his ability level because doctors in North American hospitals are expected to put in their time and work their way up the ladder.
Never mind that he has seen things as a wartime surgeon that his peers may never encounter in their careers.
Brought on by Dr. Bishop as an emergency department doctor, Bash got a glimpse of the promised land in Trauma Or -- surgery.
Until Dr. Retta Devi yanked it away on Transplant Season 3 Episode 1 so he could work on his people skills, something no one has ever accused a surgeon of having.
Until Dr. Singh reinforced Dr. Novak's request to have Bash spend time in Trauma Or on Transplant Season 3 Episode 3, if for no other reason than to support June while Novak is away doing a Doctors Without Borders stint.

Carlos Alcaraz has a chance to finish the year as the world's number-one player in the world, and it's definitely on his mind ahead of the 2023 Paris Masters .
Alcaraz, of course, already has finished as the world number one. It happened last year after his amazing breakout, and Novak Djokovic was the first player to congratulate him on that, calling it well deserved.
Well, this time around, Djokovic wants to finish as the world number one on the Atp Tour himself, and Alcaraz is his competition. It's a pretty close battle and will likely go on until the Atp Finals , which should be exciting to see.
Like Djokovic, Alcaraz admitted that he's eyeing to finish as world number one, which makes sense. It's proof that you were the best player in the past year, or at least the player with the most points won.
It’s on my mind. I practise with a goal,...

Carlos Alcaraz enjoys hard battles on a tennis court which is why he enjoyed both big matches he played against Novak Djokovic .
Obviously, the matches finished differently for Alcaraz as he lost the Roland Garros match in a very unfortunate way . He promised a different result for their next match and while it seemed a bit too confident, the Spaniard delivered by stunning the Serbian at Wimbledon .
Not many people will be shocked that they split those matches but many will be surprised that Alcaraz won the grass one while Djokovic won the clay one. In any case, it was an enjoyable experience for him, one he can't wait to happen again as he revealed ahead of the 2023 Cincinnati Masters .
I like those battles. I like to know that I can lose, and I can recover it at the same time. Of course, you have to enjoy when the battle...

Novak Djokovic is largely known as a player capable of adapting to everything and anything and Daniil Medvedev wants to do the same.
The Serbian has been able to eliminate pretty much any weakness from his game. The ability to do so largely stems from the fact that he can adapt to any kind of conditions he might encounter. Slow or fast, dry or humid doesn't matter for Djokovic as he always knows how to approach it.
It's a fascinating ability and a skill Medvedev wants to develop because it would allow him to remain as good as he is for a long period of time. He spoke it following the loss to de Minaur in Toronto. It was a match where he didn't really adapt too well at times.
You know, we have guys like Novak. I'm sure that when he started 17 years ago winning Grand Slams, everything was different.

Andy Roddick has been talking about tennis a lot lately, using his vast experience to provide insight on various things.
Roddick has been doing it through various platforms, most notably the Tennis Channel, where he served as an occasional analyst. The former player joined Betway as their global tennis ambassador, and he'll share his thoughts on all the biggest tournaments and matches through the platform.
He's been very impressed with Carlos Alcaraz and what he managed to do recently, writing down his thoughts about the Spaniard's Wimbledon triumph for Betway. The result of that match wasn't just surprising to Roddick, who played in a Wimbledon final himself but more like shocking.
I was shocked by the result of the men’s Wimbledon final. Two months ago, I don’t think anyone would have predicted Novak being beaten on grass. His dominance on the surface over the last 10 years has actually been underreported,...

Andy Roddick knows Novak Djokovic very well, having played against him many times and he's still amazed by the transformation he had over the course of his career.
Novak Djokovic wasn't projected to be as good as he ultimately became, but you could tell rather quickly that there was plenty of good stuff there. His biggest struggle initially in his career was his body which broke down far too quickly.
He detailed some of those struggles in his book, where he talked about realizing that he had a problem during a match against Tsonga. The French player was thriving in a 5th set while he was falling apart. Roddick remembers that version of Djokovic well as he talked about it for Betway.
Novak's progression, just on the physical side, has been unlike anything I've seen in pro sports. When I used to match up against Djokovic – and I had...

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “What We Do in the Shadows” Episode 6, “Urgent Care.”]
“What We Do in the Shadows” has never taken pleasure in withholding information from the audience — quite the opposite. Early seasons peeled back vampire lore and unveiled the vampiric council. Season 4 focused on Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as the baby which crawled out of his chest cavity grew into… another Colin Robinson. The Season 5 premiere, after some excellent teasing, answered the question of whether or not Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) had been turned into a vampire, while Episode 3 revealed more about energy vampires with a dazzling guest cast.
Season 5, Episode 6 offers yet another intriguing tidbit about modern-day vampiric existence: familiar urgent care. It’s less legitimate and effective than vampiric bureaucracy, but hey — they’re just familiars. As Guillermo’s vampirism becomes harder to hide, viewers are let in on the secret while the other vampires — especially Nandor (Kayvan Novak) — remain in the dark.

USA Network legal drama Suits has entered an important second phase in its TV life. After airing throughout the 2010s on basic cable, the show about a very busy New York law firm has become an unexpected hit in the streaming world.
Though all nine seasons of the series have been available to stream on Peacock for awhile now, the addition of the first eight seasons to Netflix on June 17 helped supercharge its popularity. According to Nielsen, Suits has broken streaming records with the number of minutes it was streamed across multiple platforms this summer. Anecdotally, you may even know of several folks cranking through the show’s 134 episodes right now – or maybe that person is even you!
While Suits‘ “second phase” as a bona fide streaming phenomenon is an impressive achievement for any show with cable origins, there is still one more phase in the TV life cycle it needed to conquer: a spinoff.

Holger Rune is not satisfied with his current ranking and believes he has a higher ceiling than being just a world number six.
Rune is in Toronto this week and is scheduled to play his opening match at the Canadian Open during the night session against USA's Marcos Giron . The young Dane is aware of his progress in such a short time span, rising to a career-high mark of No. 6 on the Atp Tour, but believes he has yet to fulfill his potential.
Rune's ambitions are on par with his dynamism and grit on the tennis court. And as such, he is not comfortable with modest and mediocre numbers and results. When he was ranked around the 30th place in the world, he knew that isn't something he could be satisfied with as he revealed to ATPTour.com .
"I just really told myself, ‘Okay, I don't want to be No.

Novak Djokovic will bring with him a new racket design for the upcoming US swing following the unveiling of his latest wand by Head Tennis.
Djokovic has endorsed Head Tennis as his racket sponsor since 2011, which coincided with the start of his decade-long dominance in men's tennis. The company prides itself in helping Djokovic amass all but one of his major titles while wielding a Head racket in his hand .
Head is one of the leading producers of tennis equipment, and this is symbolized in their dedication and efforts to embrace the latest technology, tennis innovation, and performance. It also boasts a pool of top-tier tennis players in its portfolio, including Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff, and Sloane Stephens.

Carlos Alcaraz is the youngest tennis player in the Top 50 on the Atp Tour and he's not surprised about it demonstrating full belief in his skillset.
A lot of people are confident in their skills whatever they might be. Not all should be though as there are plenty of people overselling their skills but Carlos Alcaraz is not one of them. The Spaniard is confident , arguably extremely confident but he backs it up as well.
At times he does get humbled like he did against Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros but he's staying consistent with talking a big game. He's the youngest man to be number one ever and also the youngest player in the Top 50 in the Atp Rankings right now.

Carlos Alcaraz is one step closer to a Wimbledon final; going on a deep run and possibly playing a final at the Championships is a stated goal for him.
The Spaniard touched down in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with a lot of doubt about his grass level. He did have a solid outing at the event last year but solid outings aren't what he's looking for. The anticlimactic end to his Roland Garros experience left him even more hungry for Grand Slams success so the obvious goal is to aim for the trophy.
Aiming for the trophy while being unsure about your level on a surface that has been shaky for you in the past seems foolish but that's exactly what Alcaraz is doing. He openly stated a few days ago that his goal is to win the tournament , adding that a match against Djokovic...

Novak Djokovic is officially unbeaten for a decade on the Wimbledon Centre Court as he booked a 3rd round at the event with a straight-sets win over Stan Wawrinka .
Wawrinka and Djokovic had some big battles over the years on the Atp Tour as the Swiss player managed to beat Djokovic in two Grand Slam finals. The Serbian joked about it a few days ago saying that Wawrinka took two Grand Slams away for him . That was an added motivation for Djokovic as those two finals were very painful losses for him.

Stan Wawrinka is going to face Novak Djokovic on Friday at Wimbledon and he's not really expecting to do that well.
Djokovic and Wawrinka obviously had some major battles at Grand Slams many years ago. The Swiss player actually beat Djokovic in two Grand Slam finals, something Djokovic is yet to forgive. He joked that Wawrinka stole two Grand Slams for him , so expect Djokovic to be very motivated in this one.
Wawrinka himself is excited about the match but he doesn't expect to really do well against one of the most dominant players at Wimbledon. While discussing the upcoming match Wawrinka joked that he's happy about winning in the second round as anything else is a bonus.
There's zero opportunity to win Wimbledon for me, I think. I'm happy to have won today again. I think it was great match. I'm playing better each match, and as I say,...

Novak Djokovic is in the 3rd round of Wimbledon and he might be facing a familiar face if Stan Wawrinka wins his 2nd round in SW19 on Thursday.
Novak Djokovic is cruising through the draw so far scoring a really solid win in round one and then another impressive victory in the second round . It's been a rather strong start for Djokovic who can struggle a bit in these opening rounds but even against a really strong grass player like Thompson, Djokovic proved quite stern.

Rafael Nadal 's longevity has been stunted by his preparation compared to the discipline of Novak Djokovic , according to Stefanos Tsitsipas .
At 2023 Wimbledon , Djokovic is currently competing to defend his 2022 title, whilst also trying to add a fifth consecutive men's singles win at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. World number five Tsitsipas is also taking part in the Grand Slam event as he took on Dominic Thiem in the first round.
However, Nadal is a big omission from Wimbledon this season as the Spanish player continues to recover from surgery , which ruled him out of the 2023 campaign. But, Tsitsipas shared his opinions on the difference between Nadal and Djokovic in an interview with Sdna , where the Greek player said Nadal's approach to preparation has contributed to his physical struggles.
"I have observed his routines and seen how professional he is at what he does. It's completely normal that he's playing at this level.

Novak Djokovic remains the current Wimbledon favourite and is on track for a calendar Grand Slam, but Carlos Alcaraz is likely to pose a stern test, according to Mark Philippoussis.

But, top seed Alcaraz showed he can match the Serbian's pace as the 20-year-old cruised to a first-round victory against Jeremy Chardy .
Currently, Djokovic and Alcaraz are the leading favourites to go all the way at this year's Wimbledon. However, Djokovic has a slight edge over his younger competitor, Philippoussis told Tennis Majors , as the Serbian is likely to target the calendar Grand Slam for 2023.

Djokovic started off his 2023 Wimbledon campaign with a win over Pedro Cachin and if he scores six more wins he'll end up as champion. It would be the 8th Wimbledon trophy for him equalling Roger Federer 's iconic tally. Djokovic is certainly confident that things will work out well.
Not many expected anybody to catch Roger Federer but Djokovic has a chance to do so. Mats Wilander could easily see him move past the Swiss legend to end up with nine or ten. It's not a particularly long way to that number making it more likely.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Djokovic ends up with nine or 10. So Roger better hold this record of eight close to his heart for now. If it’s not...

Stefan Djokovic is in London as he helped his father Novak Djokovic get ready for the first match of his quadruple title defence at Wimbledon .
Yes, Novak Djokovic has won Wimbledon four times in a row. It's half of Federer's iconic 8 trophies, a number he can match this year if he gets it done once more. He's heavily favoured because he's been the best on grass for many years now on the Atp Tour. Andy Murray is the only player in the draw to have ever beaten him on a grass court .
He also has more wins at the event than the rest of the top 20 combined. We can pretend it's because he's quite old and has played a lot of matches but remember, you can only win 7 matches at a Grand Slam and he's done that 7 times so far.
As per tradition, the defending champion opens play on Centre...

Casper Ruud is what many would consider a clay specialist with the Norwegian enjoying tennis on the red dirt.
It's the surface on which he grew up and where he played his best tennis for much of his career. It's still his best and favourite surface though now he's much more than just a clay player being able to play well on hard courts as well.
Being that familiar with the surface makes Ruud a very good player to provide insight into clay tennis and he did that in a recent episode of Ruud Talk, his podcast with Eurosport. One of the topics was clay prowess and Ruud unsurprisingly picked Rafael Nadal as the best ever on the surface however he also fondly spoke about Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
Novak and Roger, they are probably the second-best ever clay-court players. It's just that it's never really talked about because Rafa has all these records,...

Holger Rune is one of the most promising young talents on the Atp Tour but also one of the most ambitious.
The young Dane is already a part of the Top 10 and at every event that he enters, he's considered to be one of the favourites. Rune was the Itf Juniors' world number. 1 and he wants to reach the same position also among men.
Almost every tennis player or athlete has their idol when growing up, and Rune was no different. But talking to Giojournal, the teenager admitted that he became bigger fans of tennis over time and started appreciating various qualities of players rather than one specific player.
"First I was fan of Rafa. He was number one back then. I had Rafa posters all over my room. Then I became Roger fan and later I was fan of many players. To be more specific, I am fan of Verdasco's forehand,...

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are fighting for the world no. 1 spot but also for titles and Patrick Mouratoglou shared his thoughts about their battle.
Only recently, the 22-time Grand Slam champion was fighting for Grand Slam trophies with two of his biggest rivals, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. But while the Swiss Maestro retired and the Spanish 'King of Clay' struggles with injuries, new challengers emerged on the Atp Tour.
In 2021, Daniil Medvedev defeated the Serb in the US Open final, and a couple of seasons later, Alcaraz is fighting him for the world no. 1 spot. The teenager already lifted his first major trophy, but when discussing the best player in the world, Mouratoglou was straightforward.
"The best player in the world is the world no. 1, and it's Novak Djokovic. He is not able to play a lot of tournaments for non-vaccinated reasons, and he's still technically no.

Carlos Alcaraz has a growing list of admirers thanks to his incredible tennis which he flaunts pretty much any time he plays.
The Spaniard has quickly become one of the biggest tennis stars in the world with his level rapidly improving over the past year. It's very hard to play against him which Griekspoor had the chance to experience it personally. He faced Alcaraz in 2022 at Wimbledon and the 2023 Indian Wells losing both matches
He's one of the best players in the world. He has everything it takes to win unlimited tournaments, unlimited Slams. In the Indian Wells first set, I felt like I was on top of him. I was disappointed because I felt like I could have won the first set. And whenever you lose that first set and you drop like 1-2%, he's all over you.
Discussing Alcaraz further, Griekspoor singled out the forehand as a major...

Daniil Medvedev admitted that he plays his best tennis on hard courts, but is determined to prove himself on clay this season.
Medvedev added to his list of early 2023 achievements yesterday when he surged to a straight-sets win against Jannik Sinner to win the Miami Open. It was the Russian's third Atp title of the season already after victory at the Rotterdam Open and the Dubai Tennis Championships.
In addition, the 27-year-old reached the finals at Indian Wells in March but lost to world number one Carlos Alcaraz in the final. Reflecting on his impressive start to 2023, Medvedev told reporters of his awareness about being stronger on hard courts.
“I feel the best game on hard courts, even if I know that I can play well enough on grass and clay. On hard courts I feel the most fluid. And on hard courts I can play not my best tennis...
