How far would you go to save the life of a loved one? That’s the question facing Matt at the start of Bag of Lies. His wife Claire has terminal cancer and has decided to stop subjecting herself to the brutal effects of chemo, which was simply delaying the inevitable. He on the other hand can’t deal with the idea of her death.
In desperation, he makes a deal with Al who possesses what he claims is a magic bag that can save her. All it takes is a simple ritual, wait three days and then follow three simple rules afterwards. Don’t talk to it. Don’t look at it. Don’t touch it. Seems simple enough, right? So did “don’t feed it...

Joe Flaherty, founding member of “Sctv” and ubiquitous comic actor for decades including a stint as the Dad on “Freaks and Geeks,” has died at the age of 82, according to multiple reports.
The Pittsburgh-born performer (a rare American in the Canadian comedy sphere) got his start with the Chicago-based Second City Theater, first appearing on the “National Lampoon Radio Hour” before resettling in Toronto to become part of Second City’s core in the Great White North. He was one of the initial writer/performers on “Sctv,” a vanguard sketch comedy series co-starring John Candy, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Catherine O’Hara, Harold Ramis (for a little while), Dave Thomas, and, later, Martin Short, that mixed parody programming with behind-the-scenes shenanigans at a low rent television station in “Mellonville.” Indeed, if “Sctv” could be said to have a main character, it would be Flaherty’s Guy Caballero, the corrupt,...

In a recent sit-down with GQ, while promoting his new film Knox Goes Away, the great Michael Keaton took some time to look back at his favorite roles. One of them, of course, was Batman, which we wrote about here, but another was the 1996 comedy Multiplicity, which was directed by Harold Ramis. In that film, he plays a busy family man who has himself cloned.
“Multiplicity – to make it today it would take about seventeen minutes. It’s 96, right? You don’t have all the toys.”
He said the initial idea was that to play the multiple characters, he would wear make-up and fat suits, but to him, that was the wrong approach. “If you cloned yourself, you’d still have you, but what is the thing that’s not you in that? That was the premise. What’s the little thing?”
“I loved doing Multiplicity,” he says, remembering how...

Prince Harry had something else to “worry about” upon witnessing Prince William and Kate Middleton’s reaction to his dating Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex revealed to his brother and sister-in-law, the Prince and Princess of Wales, that he’d been seeing someone “new” in the months after he and his now-wife, the Duchess of Sussex, met in July 2016. Ahead, how William and Kate’s reaction “baffled” Harry.
Harry’s ‘new woman in my life’ comment to William and Kate
In his best-selling memoir Spare, which hit shelves on Jan. 10, 2023, Harry recounted telling William and Kate about his new girlfriend, Meghan.
“They knew something was going on with me, and they wanted to find out what it was,” he wrote, sharing that at the time, in late September/early October 2016, he “wasn’t sure” if he “was ready to tell them.”
However, after dinner, with William and Kate’s...

Contains spoilers for Neighbours.
Last year’s announcement that Neighbours was ending prompted the return of its prodigal children. Not just the on-screen ones journeying to Ramsay Street to reunite with lost loves/burn down Lassiters/marry Paul Robinson, but also us – the Aussie soap’s lapsed viewers. We came back too, sticking one last hopeful hand into the cookie jar of nostalgia, hoping to feel… well, anything.
The only problem: Neighbours was unrecognisable. There was no Helen Daniels and Bouncer had long retired to the big farm in the sky. If you’d drifted away at some point between the third Lucy Robinson and the plane crash that turned Harold Bishop into the Erinsborough strangler, then this is for you. Here’s a handy guide to Neighbours’ current plots and characters. Never ask ‘Who’s Paige? again.
What Happened In the Finale?

The Big Bang Theory has only been off the air for four years thus far, but after 12 seasons it’s hard to imagine the cast as anything other than the beloved characters they played for over a decade. While some actors have chosen to take it easy in the years since Bbt ended, others have gone full-speed ahead into roles that are wildly different from the characters we know them as.
Across film and television, here are the Big Bang Theory cast’s best post-Big Bang roles.
Johnny Galecki – The Conners
Johnny Galecki hasn’t done much since The Big Bang Theory ended, but having a child a few months before a global pandemic changes the world as we know it is as good an excuse as any. However, you can still find him playing David Healy every once in a while in the Roseanne spinoff The Conners. Aside...

Give Joe Leaphorn credit for finding a way to get justice for his murdered son, J.J.
But he didn't exactly go through proper channels to do so on Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 6.
Although he didn't need to be told about the concepts, Joe was caught between white man's justice and Indian justice.
Fortunately, he had his father, Henry, the former Navajo police chief, on hand to explain the situation to him.
Henry has been an enjoyable character addition in Dark Winds Season 2. He had Joe's job before him, and he doesn't hesitate to tell his son what he's doing wrong. That trait was on display on Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 2.
Fortunately, in this episode we saw a different side of their relationship when Joe consulted Henry as the man who had previously been in his shoes.
Joe knew he had to swallow his substantial pride if he wanted the...
