What does a college dropout do after three years as a fake lawyer when he’s scared of being caught and sent to jail? Become an investment banker, of course! That’s where we find Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) at the beginning of Suits Season 4. He’s working as a partner at Sidwell Investment Group, a firm that just so happens to employ Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) as its attorney. It wouldn’t be Suits without a few conflicts of interest, right?
When Season 3 ended, Mike and Harvey were being blackmailed. In fear of being reported to the New York State Bar — which would then reveal that he’s not a member of said Bar — Mike left Pearson Specter. Unfortunately, that didn’t change much. In the three months that passed between seasons, Eric Woodall (Željko Ivanek), the corrupt US attorney, got a job in the Securities and Exchange Commission,...

Season 8 of Suitsushers in a new era. With Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) off making political waves in Chicago, and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) helping out the little guy in Seattle, major changes are afoot at the firm now known as Zane Specter Litt (Zsl). And with as much change as Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and the rest of the team are facing, there’s bound to be some bumps in the road. Surprisingly — or maybe not-so-surprisingly, knowing these people — a lot of those bumps happen to be shaped like confident, well-dressed lawyers who know how to storm into a room and make demands (it’s basically a prerequisite of working at Zsl). But nothing brings together a divided family quite like a common enemy. Will our favorite group of attorneys be able to set aside personal feelings for the good of the whole?...

Season 7 ofSuits really feels like the beginning of the end, doesn’t it? Season 6 wrapped up the foundational saga that was Mike Ross’ (Patrick J. Adams) big lawyer lie by rallying the troops to get him back on his feet after prison and then officially into the bar association. (Our boy’s all grown up!) With that major storyline in the past, this season spends some time reshuffling while preparing for the end-of-season departures of three main cast members. As Pearson Specter Litt attempts to remain a viable firm while weathering some major changes, there’s a whole lot of high-stakes drama to be had — and even more office swapping.
If there’s one word to describe how Suits Season 7 kicks off, it would be upheaval. There’s so much of it! With Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) officially relocated to Chicago, the leadership at Pearson Specter Litt has to find...

After five seasons of nearly everyone at Pearson Specter Litt doing at least one shady thing to protect Mike Ross’ (Patrick J. Adams) secret on Suits, it finally came out: He was charged with fraud for practicing law without a license. He defended himself — and was even going to get a “not guilty” verdict from the jury — but when the Ada threatened to go after his friends and co-worker following closing arguments, Mike decided to take a plea deal.
When Season 5 ended, the now-outed fake lawyer was headed for two years in prison and his former law firm was headed for trouble as well. Given all the legal trouble with Mike, Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) decided to go after the firm for not protecting his daughter and poached every lawyer in the place. When Season 6 begins, all...

As much as things change at the Pearson Specter Litt law firm, the more they stay the same. The case of the week may change, but Mike still has a secret and the fashion is still impeccable.
When Season 4 ended, the characters of Suits were professing their love. After receiving her father’s blessing, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) proposes to Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle). Thankfully for viewers, she says yes. At the same time, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Raferty) confesses to her boss Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) that she’s in love with him — and leaving him. He can’t admit his feelings for her, so it’s too hard for her to be around him. She’s not leaving the firm entirely, but she has plans to go work for Louis.
Drama isn’t new in the office, but this certainly makes things tense in the Suits Season 5 premiere.

As every new season of Suits starts, it’s important to keep track of two things: who knows Mike’s secret and what the current name is of the law firm.
We’ll start with the easier one. When Season 2 ended, Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) had finally revealed to Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) that he didn’t go to Harvard, doesn’t have a law degree, and is putting himself and the entire firm at risk just by working there. As for who else knows, it’s only named partner Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), senior partner Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), Harvey’s assistant. If Mike’s secret were to be exposed, the fact that they knew — and employed him — would kill the firm and all their careers.
You’d think untangling the web of Mike’s secret would be the most complicated...

Mike Ross is a lawyer with nine lives. After being hired at Pearson Hardman law firm without passing the bar or even completing an undergraduate degree, Mike (played by Patrick J. Adams) spends much of the first season of Suits dodging that secret coming out. But when his old friend Trevor finds out Mike is dating his ex-girlfriend Jenny, he outs Mike to named partner Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres).
So, will Mike be able to continue working as a lawyer? What blowback will Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) receive from hiring Mike knowing his lie? Will Mike and Rachel get together? Will Louis stop scheming? The last one we can answer right now: no. But for all the rest, read on for our Season 2 recap of Suits.
After Jessica learns that Mike doesn’t have a law degree, she gives Harvey the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t know.

In the summer of 2011, USA Network launched a legal drama that introduced fans to the Pearson Hardman law firm, quite a few fan-favorite characters, and an actor named Meghan Markle. Suits premiered on June 23 of that year and ran for nine seasons, becoming a hit with audiences for its quick wit, good-looking cast, and will-they-won’t-they relationships.
If you haven’t gotten to watch the drama series yet, you’re in luck: Eight of those seasons are now streaming on Netflix. Here, we break down what happens in Suits Season 1.

First, it was Pearson Hardman. Then, they merged with Darby International to become Pearson Darby. Then, it became Pearson Darby Specter. Next, it changed to Pearson Specter. Then, well … you get the picture. No matter what the name is on the wall, the employees at the law firm in Suits know how to serve up witty banter, impressive legal eagling, and fashionable looks.

Everyone’s favorite legal drama franchise, Suits, is back with a brand-new spinoff series, Suits: LA, and fans couldn’t be more elated. Albeit the absence of the fan-favorite duo of dapper hunks Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J.Adams) — who carried the weight of the show on their perfectly broad shoulders — the fresh faces and exciting new storylines showcase immense potential to leave you just as hooked as the original. Suits also released another spinoff, Pearson, based on Gina Torres’s character, which was canceled after ten episodes. Although Suits: LA will be set in the same universe, it

As “Suits” continues to overperform as a streaming acquisition on Netflix, the hit legal drama is finally coming to broadcast TV. Primetime programming service MyNetwork TV has picked up an off-network run of “Suits” for this fall, making its broadcast TV debut.
The pickup was announced Monday by Frank Cicha, executive VP of programming for Fox Television Stations. “It’s become increasingly more difficult, if not impossible, to launch obscure product on broadcast TV. ‘Suits’ is arguably the most buzzworthy scripted series of the last half decade, and MyNet looks forward to amplifying its success by introducing it to the broadcast television audience. And we’re discussing some fun ways to do just that.”
“Suits,” created by Aaron Korsh, originally ran on USA Network for nine seasons (and 134 episodes) between 2011 and 2019. NBCUniversal Syndication Studios distributes the series to broadcast; this is believed to be the first time a series started...

Exclusive: A week after veteran talent agent Jed Abrahams resigned as Kmr Talent’s SVP and head of the agency’s New York office, he has joined Los Angeles-based management and production company The Rosenzweig Group (aka The Rose Group) as a talent manager. He will open and head an office in New York, making The Rosenzweig Group — founded in 2018 by Marni Rosenzweig — officially bicoastal.
After a brief career as an actor, Abrahams transitioned to talent representation, spending the past two decades as an agent. He started at Henderson/Hogan Agency, Stewart Talent and The Talent House before his 10-year run as SVP and Head of New York at Kmr Talent.
Clients joining Abrahams at The Rosenzweig Group include Broadway actors Eden Espinosa (Lempicka), Tony nominee Robyn Hurder (Chicago), and Kecia Lewis, currently starring in Alicia Keys’ musical Hell’s Kitchen. Also joining Abrahams at Trg is Aaron Serotsky and Jay Wilkison (Younger), a series regular on the upcoming Amazon series Clean Slate.
“After 20 years of agenting, I am thrilled to discover a newfound passion and excitement, as I begin to zoom in and have a more hands-on approach to a small, select list of uniquely talented artists,” Abrahams said. “When presented the opportunity to join forces with Marni Rosenzweig, I was over the moon at the prospect of collaborating with an undeniably seasoned and accomplished manager, leader of such a respected company.”
The Rosenzweig Group clients include Alex Borstein, Sandra Bernhard, Miranda Rae Mayo, Patrick J. Adams and Glynn Turman among others.
“Jed is the perfect fit for our company,” Rosenzweig said. “He is a well-respected, veteran talent agent who will excel as a manager. His work ethic and passion for actors and all creatives is unparalleled and we are excited to welcome his impressive clients to our now bicoastal company.”
Kmr Talent’s March 22 move to suspend its SAG-AFTRA franchise has triggered an exodus of agents who have since joined other companies or opened their own shops.

We have more intriguing casting news for one of the most highly anticipated series of 2024.
From the moment NBC began developing Suits: LA, fans of the original series have been clamoring for updates about the spinoff.
And some of the information about the cast has received a very mixed response.
But we think this latest report won't be as controversial as some of the news that preceded it.
According to a new report from Variety, Lex Scott Davis is the latest addition to the cast.
Though perhaps not a household name, Davis has an extensive and impressive resume, highlighted by her work in The First Purge, her performance as Toni Braxton in the biopic Unbreak My Heart and her roles on the TV series Training Day and The L Word: Generation Q.
Davis has been cast as Erica Rollins, whom producers describe as “a savvy and strong-willed rising star.

Another well-known star is joining 2024's most highly anticipated spinoff!
It was announced today that Walking Dead regular Josh McDermitt has been cast on Suits: LA.
McDermitt, who started out as a standup comic, played Eugene Porter on 85 episodes of the long-running AMC drama.
He joins Arrow star Stephen Amell, who was previously announced as one of the series leads.
As we discussed earlier this week, the casting of Suits: LA has elicited a mixed reaction on social media.
To put it bluntly, some fans are not happy with the idea that the show will be structured around Amell's character.
According to press releases, Amell will play Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who moves to LA to start his own firm, Black Lane Law, specializing in criminal and entertainment law.
Obviously, the intersection of those two areas of the law will make for countless story opportunities.

“The Walking Dead” actor Josh McDermitt is set to star opposite Steven Amell in NBC’s “Suits” spinoff, “Suits: LA.”
The new series sees Amell star as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who built an L.A. law firm, Black Lane Law, specializing in criminal and entertainment law. The official logline reads, “His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
Described as energetic, powerful and self absorbed, McDermitt will play Stuart Lane, who co-founded Black Lane Law.

While Aaron Korsh’s Suits concluded in 2019 after running for nine seasons on the USA Network, the show saw a resurgence after smashing viewership records last year following its debut on Netflix. Following this notable spike in its numbers that left fans craving for more, NBC has now greenlit the first spin-off to the original show, which will star Arrow actor Stephen Amell in the lead.
But considering Amell infamously deemed the SAG-AFTRA strike a reductive tactic, stating that the whole situation was frustrating, some were taken aback by NBC’s decision to have Amell lead Suits: L.A. Reflecting on this surprising casting, Industry Insider Jeff Sneider, alongside John Rocha, touched on the possible reasoning behind NBC’s decision.

British filmmaker Sally Potter has set plans to re-release her 2009 feature Rage, starring Riz Ahmed, Lily Cole, Jude Law, and Judi Dench, as a series of posts on Instagram, to mark the film’s 15th anniversary.

The film also stars Patrick J Adams, Jacob Cedergren, John Leguizamo, Eddie Izzard, David Oyelowo, Dianne Wiest, Steve Buscemi, Adriana Barraza, Simon Abkarian and Bob Balaban. The original concept in 2009 was for the film to be watched on smartphones.
