Burak Orhun Baser is a director and psychologist born in Turkey. He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Koc University, Istanbul in Psychology and in Media and Visual Arts.
During his college education, he traveled to different countries for field studies and he studied in Hong Kong for a year.
He started his fine arts career with photography. His photography projects are exhibited in art galleries in Paris, London, and Istanbul. After he is awarded by Fulbright Scholarship for his studies in the USA, he started his MFA in Film at The City College of New York.
During his master's degree education, he wrote 'Passage' and he is funded by Ostrovsky Family Fund and New York Watermark Theather Films. 'Passage' is now ready to find its audience and Orhun is now writing screenplays and directing films in Istanbul, Turkey.
