The biggest question concerning the use of this character would be who would be used to step into the role of Starman first since there have been plenty of individuals that have taken on this mantle. But seeing as the mantle has been passed on to Stargirl in the CW it does feel as though Jack Knight would be the subject used for this particular hero. It would be interesting to see if Starman’s long history would be brought up though, starting with Jack’s father. There are so many heroes and villains in the mix at this point when it

Warning: contains major Strike: Lethal White spoilers.
It’s fair to say that Strike: Lethal White didn’t have the most streamlined of plots. Condensing a 650-page novel with roughly the same number of characters into just four TV episodes produced a miniseries more squeezed than a carton of anti-depressant-laced orange juice.
If you lost your bearings somewhere between the first ‘murder’, the multiple blackmails, the second murder, the secret affair, the valuable paintings, the inheritance scheme, the Zimbabwean war crimes scandal, and the long, tangled history between the families Chiswell, Knight and Winn, nobody could blame you. Take a look below to fill in any gaps.
Please note, this is based on the TV adaptation, some book plot details will differ.
Who killed Jasper Chiswell?
His illegitimate son Raphael (Raff), who had previously served a prison sentence for running down and killing a pregnant woman while driving under the influence,...

This article contains Stargirl spoilers.
If Stargirl has succeeded at one thing with its finale–and it achieved a lot–it was introducing some very exciting new concepts and characters for season two. The biggest hint at where we’re headed next is the late-stage tease of a new Injustice Society member who brings the promise of danger, mystery, magic, and maybe… time travel. Say hello to the Shade.
During the Golden Age of comics, the DC Universe was filled with weird and wonderful characters who shaped the massive comic book company into something magical and otherworldly, far from the street level noir heroes that the industry is now known for. Essentially, in 1942 DC was a technicolor world away from the gritty realism that we’ve come to connect with the Dark Knight and his fellow DC heroes. It was during this fantastical period that Stargirl‘s newest antagonist was...

Suicide Squad! Rockets Red! The greatest hits of '80s DC make this episode of Young Justice: Outsiders a DC fan pleaser.

Young Justice Outsiders Episode 15
"Leverage," the latest episode in Young Justice's nearly flawless comeback season, does two things really well. It likes all the same comics I like, and it uses them to somehow make a really good X-Men episode. That's a bizarre bit of praise for a show that is one of the most thorough and entertaining representations of the DC Universe ever put on screens, but what "Leverage" does exceptionally well is bring the social pressures on metahuman teens, the alienation and the puberty metaphor and the weird power stuff, to the forefront.
Also it's a Rocket Red/Suicide Squad fight with Young Justice in the middle on a show named for the third biggest '80s DC superteam.

The CW's superhero time travel series Legends of Tomorrow promised us new heroes and they're delivering. They've just cast the Justice Society of America's Stargirl. IGN.com reports it's Power Rangers actor Sarah Grey who's grabbed the role of Stargirl, otherwise known as Star-Spangled Kid, otherwise known as Courtney Elizabeth Whitmore. Stargirl was created by DC Entertainment President & Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and introduced in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. #0 back in 1999. Johns created her in honor of his sister who passed away three years earlier and she's mostly retained a youthful, energetic, and hopeful appearance in the comics. Considering how many teenagers they have, Courtney is one of the few DC characters who actually had braces on her teeth at one point. She was, for lack of a better word, normal. While in the DC Comics Bombshells series she has an entirely different origin, in...

Once a villain, always a villain — or at least that's what they say.
However, Disney's newest film, "Wreck-It Ralph," aims to prove that particular saying wrong. Starring John C. Reilly (as Wreck-It Ralph), the film revolves around a down and out video game villain who aims to go against his programming and starts game hopping with the hopes of becoming a hero beloved by all.
In honor of "Wreck-It Ralph," we've taken the liberty of compiling our own list of villains turned heroes. Comic book villains turned heroes, to be precise! These Marvel and DC characters all started off on the wrong side of the law, but are now either paying their dues or functioning as full-blown superheroes.

BFFs Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus each earn equally one spot at the Young Artist Awards this year under the television category. The first two are included for their roles in TV movie "Princess Protection Program" while Miley is in for her leading role on "Hannah Montana".
In terms of the number, it is Miranda Cosgrove and her show "iCarly" that earn the most. Beside the actress herself who is nominated for Best Performance in a TV Series by a Leading Actress, the whole cast are nominated for Outstanding Young Performers in a TV Series. Additionally, Nathan Kress and Joey Luthman land a nod each in supporting actor and recurring categories respectively.
However, Nate Hartley adds one for "Hannah Montana" in the guest starring category. As for Gomez's "Wizards of Waverly Place", it is Jake T. Austin who gets a nod, while as for Lovato's "Sonny with a Chance...

What is it in life that lets us judge what is right and what is wrong, who is worthy of being alive and who’s just there, with no significant purpose in one’s world? Consider finding something so unique that it could change your entire life. You’ve always dreamed of better; getting out of that place; that hole you call an existence, but you can’t. These are the questions posed by this wonderful indie which, thankfully, has found our domain here at MovieJungle.com. The title throws one off a tad. For the most part, there are no lobsters in this film; it is more the career of one unsuccessful fisherman named Cody (Colm Meaney). Struggling to make his daily catch and support his family, the aged fisherman once again takes out his modest little boat and heads off into the blue. Despite warnings from a close friend,...
