Graham Norton bid emotional farewell to his listeners, signing off on Sunday for the last time from his weekend show on Virgin Radio.
The popular Irish presenter had just 24 hours before told his audience live on air that this would be his last weekend hosting the program.
The beginning of his final show Sunday morning began with him telling listeners: ”’Here we go, one last gallop around the paddock.”
His first song of the day was Pet Shop Boys’ Always on my Mind.
Saying goodbye three hours later, Norton told his listeners: “My final thank you has to be to you, to you for listening and sharing your lives with us.
“We’ve loved hearing your messages and finding out what you’ve been up to, and what you’ve liked, what you haven’t liked, what’s made you happy, what’s made you sad over those years.

More musical chairs in the UK’s national radio ecosystem after popular presenter Graham Norton announced live on air that this will be his last weekend presenting his popular Saturday and Sunday shows on Virgin Radio.
Norton – who is also the longtime host of a BBC primetime TV chat show named after him, attracting A-list stars to his sofa – made the announcement during his very first link on Saturday morning, saying only: “It is my final weekend of shows here at Virgin Radio.”
The presenter has been with the station since 2021, when he followed fellow radio presenter Chris Evans out of the doors of the BBC and into the commercial station. Norton added on air that he won’t be leaving Virgin completely.
In a statement released to Deadline, Virgin Radio Content Director Mike Cass said: “Graham Norton has delighted Virgin Radio’s weekend listeners for the last three years.

Rihanna is known almost as much for her savage clapbacks as she is for her music and fashion icon status. So it was only a matter of time before the sassy songstress unleashed some signature shade on one of her Ocean’s 8 castmates. During a recent appearance alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Sarah Paulson on The Graham Norton Show, host Graham Norton asked the stars who among them had attended fashion’s biggest night, the Met Gala.
Rihanna’s Comment Followed Jabs About Her Own Met Gala Style Helena Bonham Carter as Rose Weil
When Helena Bonham Carter revealed on The Graham Norton Show, she’d never scored an invite to the prestigious event, Rihanna swiftly went in for the kill:
“That’s because you wear dresses like that.” She gestured mockingly at Carter’s eclectic patterned silk dress while the audience erupted.

Actor Mark Wahlberg discussed an intense experience from filming the comedy Ted 2 involving a deleted scene. Despite never making the final cut, Wahlberg was forced to memorize a random list of 57 movie character names, and five years later, he still wakes up “saying that shit.”
The comedy Ted 2 was released in 2015 as a sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s original 2012 hit film, with Mark Wahlberg reprising his role as the titular teddy bear’s best friend. The plot involves Ted fighting to gain legal recognition as a person, rather than mere property. Wahlberg’s character John is Ted’s longtime buddy who helps him in his legal battles and silly misadventures.

Mark Ruffalo, currently in the home stretch of the campaign for his Best Supporting Actor nomination for “Poor Things,” recently spoke with GQ and floated a theory as to why we won’t see him lead a film for his most widely-known character.
“I’d love to do a standalone Hulk,” he said, speaking about his superhero persona in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I just don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” he added, explaining “it’s very expensive if you did a whole movie, which is why they use the Hulk so sparingly. I priced myself out!”
He was sure to say that it was the computer-generated imagery that was so costly – all those processors churning away to make his enormous green muscles look real – and not his salary, of course!
The actor, who still works on the Broadway stage from time to time, also batted away...

Marvel Studios is now heading to a new direction after dropping Jonathan Majors from Avengers 5 due to his conviction for third-degree reckless assault and harassment. With that said, the studio is trying to clean up the mess by reworking the upcoming Avengers 5 and giving it a new title, scrapping any traces of Kang in the story.
Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror | Ant-Man 3
The new plot remains a mystery, but this report only intensifies fans’ speculations that Mark Ruffalo’s World War Hulk may happen. In fact, this is the best opportunity to slide it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Samuel L. Jackson may be just another actor in Hollywood’s league of iconic actors, but his comedian skills are equally refined despite him not being an officially accredited comedian. A mastermind who never ceases to amuse his audiences, there must have been hardly any instances where the renowned star had appeared onscreen and not made the viewers laugh.
Samuel L. Jackson in Kingsman: The Secret Service
This is the exact reason why, when he was reminded that Harrison Ford had, once again, beaten him for the iconic title of being recognized as the highest-grossing actor, Samuel L. Jackson had the most indifferent reaction, which quite literally had the most hilarious reaction on every single person present in the room.

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most celebrated and successful actors in the movie industry, who has been captivating the audience with his mesmerizing performance since 1991. DiCaprio is probably the most versatile actor, and no matter which role you present him, he will not only portray it but also become synonymous with it. Naturally, fame and success followed him, as he received the highest form of praise, that is, the Academy Awards to honor his work.
Leonardo DiCaprio in The Great Gatsby
Even though Leonardo DiCaprio has a stellar career where he consistently charms viewers and critics, he has only one Academy Award, which remained a conversation topic among the fans. However, it looks like Edward Norton has probably found out the reason for the Titanic actor having only one Academy Award, and he shares it with the actor’s fans.

Samsung has struck a deal with ITV Studios for a new channel on its Samsung TV Plus platform that will offer repeats of “The Graham Norton Show.”
The channel, called Non-Stop Norton, is debuting on Samsung’s smart TVs, phones and tablets in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands, and will offer around-the-clock rebroadcasts of the evening talk show.
The addition of Non-Stop Norton will allow advertisers to buy inventory against the show for the first time in the United Kingdom, where it traditionally airs on the public broadcaster BBC without commercials. ITV Studios produces the show for the BBC.
“It gives advertisers a gateway into the growing number of audiences who are turning to Fast services already, to deliver them engaging, premium, and free content that is easy to discover, funded by targeted and relevant advertising,” Alex Hole,...

The 2010 San Diego Comic-Con was not the biggest gathering in the event's history, but in terms of its importance as a movie marketing event, this was the freakin' year. The gargantuan, hangar-sized Hall H, christened in 2004 as the home for star-studded studio panels, was packed on both peak days as major stars and filmmakers shilled the next two years' most anticipated genre titles. Friday was all about "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," which, with all its major stars present, turned into a shriek-filled presentation as deafening as The Beatles' 1964 appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
And then there was Saturday.
Warner Bros. kicked off the Hall H festivities with a buzzy panel that could've matched the "Twilight" delirium had the main Harry Potter trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint showed up for the "Deathly Hallows: Part I" preview. The day threatened to descend into chaos when a...

Jonathan Majors is out at Marvel Studios in a stunning career blow for the once-rising actor.
On Dec. 18, a Manhattan jury found Majors guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of harassment following a two-week trial that stemmed from a March incident between the actor and his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari.
Before his March arrest, Majors was positioned as the key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the Disney-owned studio building its entire current story arc around Majors’ Kang the Conqueror. The time-traveling villain factored into this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as well as both seasons of Loki, and he was going to lead Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, slated for May 1, 2026. The feature is still in the script phase and had not begun filming. No director is currently attached.

"The Incredible Hulk" was an early stumbling block for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Released in June 2008, a mere month after "Iron Man," lightning did not strike twice for Marvel Studios' burgeoning movie enterprise; "Incredible Hulk" got a shrug from critics and underperformed at the box office.
Even so, Marvel Studios steamrolled ahead. Star Edward Norton didn't return for any future MCU films and Bruce Banner was recast with Mark Ruffalo for "The Avengers." The behind-the-scenes book "MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios" by Dave Gonzales, Gavin Edwards, and Joanna Robinson features a chapter about "The Incredible Hulk" and its gamma radiation-flavored fallout. The book ultimately puts the production's unpleasant memories on the shoulders of Edward Norton, suggesting his actor-as-auteur approach solidified Marvel's top-down filmmaking tactics.
An unnamed "Marvel performer" tells the authors, "We have a no-a**hole policy on our movies," and the book traces this policy back to Norton's behavior.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is getting a sword back in hand.
The Game of Thrones star is partnering with James Norton (Happy Valley) to co-lead an 11th century historical drama series based on William the Conqueror and the Battle of Hastings.
The BBC and CBS Studios project is titled King and Conqueror and is from writer Michael Robert Johnson (Sherlock Holmes) and with a premiere directed by Baltasar Kormákur (Everest).
King and Conqueror “is the story of a clash that defined the future of a country — and a continent — for a thousand years, the roots of which stretch back decades and extend out through a pair of interconnected family dynasties, struggling for power across two countries and a raging sea. As Woody Harrelson's character, Marty Hart, frequently observes in "True Detective" season 1, Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) is a weird dude. Try to make polite small talk about what he thinks of his new detective posting and he's more likely to say something like "It's all one ghetto, man. A giant gutter in outer space" than "It's very nice, thank you for asking."
Finding an actor who can play a hard-bitten detective, a grieving father, an alcoholic who wanders on and off the wagon, and a free-wheeling nihilistic philosopher — all in one character — isn't easy. Not everyone can deliver lines like "Death created time to grow the things that it would kill" with a straight face. And "True Detective" creator Nic Pizzolatto had a very specific type of actor in mind for the character of Rust, not just in terms of style but in terms of physicality as well.
