Nicolas Cage is one of the biggest names in the world of Hollywood thanks to his well-varied genres of movies, but he is also known for his eccentric roles, bordering on the realm of absurdity. This is especially true for his role as Ghost Rider.
Nicolas Cage
Nicolas Cage took on the role of Johnny Blaze, embodying the Ghost Rider character, in the superhero film released by Sony Pictures in 2007. Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the movie proved to be a box office hit. Its success paved the way for a sequel, titled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which was released in 2012. However, it appears he won’t return as Ghost Rider again following his remarks about National Treasure 3.

A lot is misunderstood about the Method.
Methos acting, originally called the Stanislavski System, was pioneered by Konstantin Stanislavski in his 1936 book "An Actor Prepares." In brief -- and it's far more involved than this -- the Method involved an acting that was based on the experienced emotions of the actor rather than mere representation. It is a Method actor's job to seek through their own psyche to find a similar motivational impulse as their character, and draw from it to create all the smaller, subconscious movements that a person would authentically display in that moment. A Method actor would constantly be asking themselves how they would personally react under a play's given circumstances.
Method approaches have famously brought some actors to undue extremes. One might have heard the story of Dustin Hoffman who, to match the fatigue of his character in "The Marathon Man," elected to actually stay up...

The acting style and filmography of Nicolas Cage is probably going to be studied in film school for generations. Cage is a student of film himself, always searching for something new to bring to the craft. A decade ago, in an Ask Me Anything session held on Reddit with Ethan Hawke, the Oscar-nominated actor said Cage is "the only actor since Marlon Brando that's actually done anything new with the art of acting." The pretentious description of Cage's technique would be Nouveau Shamanic, a term Cage took from the equally pretentious book "The Way of the Actor" by professor Brian Bates. Cage cleared that up in an interview with LA Weekly in 2014, where he also spoke about his exploration of various operatic acting styles that he calls "Western kabuki."
Inevitably, the conversations and debates around the craft of acting can demystify the art itself, and the dissection of the entire...

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has some choice words to describe movies that go straight to streaming.
“Patty Jenkins is still very unhappy about how the release of Wonder Woman 1984 played out. Her second Wonder Woman movie came out in theaters and HBO Max simultaneously as part of Warner Bros.’ pandemic release deal with the streaming platform, and it failed to get as much attention as the first flick. We previously reported that the director had referred to the hybrid rollout as ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘the best choice of a bunch of very bad choices’ at CinemaCon.”
