Match #1: Queen of the Ring Quarterfinal Match – Bianca Belair def. Tiffany Stratton The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Est took on The Center of the Universe in a magnificent showdown for the chance to move on in the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Bianca Belair seemed to have tweaked her knee in the early going but found the resolve to fight through the pain. Stratton locked on to Belair’s injured knee, using The Est’s braids to take Belair down before sending her crashing knee first into the ring steps. Belair tried for the Kod but Stratton was able to evade it as Belair’s knees gave out. Stratton used her wits to her advantage, distracting the...

WWE is preparing for its next pay-per-view with King and Queen of the Ring around the corner. Ahead of the pay-per-view towards the end of May 2024, WWE has started a promotional campaign that is now in full swing. The wrestling company recently released a poster for the event, featuring some of its top superstars.
A promotional image for WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring 2024.
However, when the poster made its way online, fans could not help but notice the similarities between it and Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther poster. As a result, fans quickly took to social media to accuse WWE of directly ripping off the Marvel film’s poster. Despite fan accusations, this isn’t the first time WWE has taken direct inspiration from movies. Here is what fans had to say about the King and Queen of the Ring poster online.

Welcome to this review of WWE’s latest pay-per-view/premium live event, Backlash, which this year emanates from France. We’ve got five matches on the card so let’s get into it.
Match #1: Street Fight – Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match could even begin, all four Superstars engaged in a massive melee with WWE officials, including SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was attempting to break up the brawl. A fed up Aldis decided to forgo the original tag team rules, turning the bout into a Street Fight. The chaos only heightened with the introduction of weapons including Kendo sticks, trash cans, tables and even the Prime hydration station being used as instruments of destruction. Both teams traded blows with Owens splashing Tonga through a table while Sikoa nearly simultaneously put Orton through a table with a Samoan Drop.

The grit, the gory, and the glory are more than enough to launch anyone into a full-blown panic attack mode in the wrestling world, and the Australian professional wrestler and current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was no exception to this. WrestleMania 40’s night one in Philadelphia was a spectacle of high-octane wrestling that lived up to the grandeur expected of such a storied event. The evening was headlined by a tag team match featuring Roman Reigns and The Rock against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, which delivered an electrifying performance, setting a dramatic tone for the rest Wrestlemania weekend! The stakes were incredibly high, with the outcome influencing the main event of night two, adding a layer of strategic depth to the match. Roman Reigns and The Rock took the win and if Cody Rhodes is going to “finish the story” he will be playing now by the Bloodline’s rules for night two!

The Bloodline’s presence was felt throughout the night, particularly in the emotionally charged match between estranged twin brothers Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, which showcased a personal family drama unfolding in the ring.

WrestleMania 40 is nearly here, and the milestone event is looking to live up to its “Xl” billing. Across two nights, WWE’s biggest stars will compete for glory, championships, and, perhaps, the honor of participating in one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania history. If the quality of recent WrestleMania shows is any indication, it should be a lot of fun.
Of course, none of that actually matters much if you don’t know how and when to watch WrestleMania 40 in the first place. So, here’s (hopefully) everything you need to know about the upcoming show.
WrestleMania 40: Start Time and Dates
As has been the case with recent WrestleMania shows, WrestleMania 40 will be a two-night event.
WrestleMania 40: Night 1 will start on April 6 at 7 Pm Et, 6 Pm Ct, and 4 Pm Pt. WrestleMania 40 Night 2 will start on April 7 at 7 Pm Et, 6 Pm Ct, and 4 Pm Pt. The pre-show for...

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!
Match #1: Pretty Deadly def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Just one week before their Triple Threat Match with United States Champion Logan Paul at WrestleMania, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens teamed up once again, this time facing Pretty Deadly. Just as Ko and Orton were rolling, Paul slithered from underneath the ring, hitting Ko in the jaw with the brass knuckles and allowing Pretty Deadly to capture the victory.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Austin Theory & Grayson Waller def. The Street Profits The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Street Profits opened the match like a house on fire as Angelo Dawkins sent Grayson Waller flying into the announce table with a massive tackle.

With a muscular physique and a six-foot build, Jade Cargill is sure to make a Greek statue feel jealous, with white hair, she is often called X-Men’s Storm. Moreover, the confidence she displays while standing in the ring and going against the biggest stars makes her a force to be reckoned with. Needless, to say she has captured the attention of the wrestling fans each time she steps foot in the ring.
Jade Cargill during her WWE SmackDown promo
In today’s segment of WWE SmackDown, The Storm finally made her much-anticipated debut. However, following her short and striking promo, she went against the Damage Control, where she singlehandedly destroyed them. While she took them out effortlessly, she made a silly mistake that could have potentially ruined her debut, until she rescued the situation like a boss.

Welcome to this review of the Royal Rumble 2024, right here on Nerdly. I’m Phil Wheat and we have not only Two Rumble matches to look forward to but also two title matches! Let’s get into it.
Match #1: Women’s Royal Rumble Match – Winner: Bayley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bayley secured her spot at WrestleMania by outlasting 29 other Superstars after entering at No. 3, setting a new Women’s Royal Rumble record by lasting 1:03:03. The surprises began early as Naomi, a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, made her triumphant return to WWE as she entered at No. 2 . Another surprise came just minutes later as Tna knockouts champion Jordynne Grace made her way to the ring. The numbers quickly favored Damage Ctrl, as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka (No. 7) and Kairi Sane (No. 11) laid waste to the competition,...

Food Network is about to ring the start bell on season 2 of Superchef Grudge Match.
The Darnell Ferguson-hosted series will return Dec. 26 with a new batch of all-star competitions to settle some of the biggest personal and professional feuds in the culinary world. In each episode, Ferguson stages two different battles between chefs who have beefs with each other to finally bury the hatchet and win $10,000 cash, a prized knife from the losing chef and lifelong bragging rights over their food foe.
“The grudges are bigger and badder this season. When these chefs collide, the culinary action is intense and the trash-talk is biting,” said Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery. “Darnell’s energy and bold personality make him the ideal host to settle these scores.”

A win is just another day in the neighborhood for Aew TBS Champion Jade Cargill, the wrestling company’s resident She-Hulk (she’s got the muscles to prove it), whose incredible undefeated streak currently stands at 61-0.

Cargill, who made history in January as the longest reigning champion of any belt, will defend her title against Taya Valkyrie, a current double champion on the indie circuit. Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features seven matches – matching this week’s Elevation. Let’s see what went down…
Match #1: Ar Fox def. Peter Avalon
My Thoughts: Well this was a surprisingly great opener. Ar Fox has been a fantastic addition to the Aew roster – you just have to look at this match, where he and Peter Avalon worked brilliantly together to see that. Kudos to Avalon too, whose recently shed the more comedic aspects of his wrestling persona to great aplomb. A solid opening match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Willie Mack def. Serpentico

My Thoughts: When Sammy Guevara isn’t messing around with the Jsa or p*ssing off fans with over-the-top affection to his wife Tay Melo on TV he Can actually wrestle. And thankfully that’s what happened here, as Gueara and Takeshita really delivered a great opening match. I wouldn’t have had Takeshita lose, but as other have noted – he probably lost to push the Don Callis angle. Which I guess I can live with, if it means Takeshita gets to the next level in Aew.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which once again this week features a mere Five matches (music to my ears!) Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: Juice Robinson def. Leon Ruffin
My Thoughts: This is Easily the best match Juice Robinson has had in Aew so far. Leon Ruffin was a great opponent and a brilliant foil for Robinson, who needed the win to build his rep in the company, especially considering his antics on Aew’s main show(s) last week.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Kiera Hogan def. Leila Grey
My Thoughts: An interesting match-up, with a former baddie taking on a current baddie in what could be a new feud in Aew, one that would allow the Jade Cargill hype-train to continue but allow for “camp” to take loses whilst building up possible opponents to dethrone Cargill.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: The Iron Savages def.

My Thoughts: The very definition of a David vs. Goliath wrestling match, this turned out to be a superb battle between two men who had totally different styles and were totally different sizes. Given the squash matches Hobss has had recently, you’d have expected less of a battle for him against the smaller Fenix but this match was booked brilliantly so that just when you thought that was the case, it wasn’t! Yuta tagged in and the Bcc continued to single out Evil Uno with their attack. Stu Grayson grabbed a tag, leaping over Moxley to take out Yuta. Grayson took down Claudio with a meteora! Grayson planted Moxley! Stu spiked Claudio with a Ddt for a near fall. Mox and Claudio worked in tandem to lower the ropes,...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features Fourteen matches, though we also get some of Aew’s bigger stars on the show, which makes up for the ridiculous amount of matches Imho. Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: Action Andretti def. Tony Deppen
My Thoughts: Action Andretti continues his winning streak in this opening match, though why Deppen was allowed to get as much offence as he did – especially against the guy that beat Chris Jericho in his debut. Still, a great start to this week’s Dark.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Evil Uno def. J. Spade
My Thoughts: Evil Uno’s turning to the dark side continues… I sincerely hope this new vicious streak continues and we get a stronger, more dominant Dark Order too. Shame the audience wasn’t into this one though.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Parker Boudreaux def.

The Elite called for a time out, trying to collect themselves. Omega tagged in and shoulder tackled Ar Fox. The Elite worked over Fox in the corner with triple team maneuvers. The Bucks hit a neck breaker-backbreaker combo on Fox.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features eight matches on the card. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Dark Order def. El Dragon, El Cobarde, and Vary Morales
My Thoughts: I’ll repeat Exactly what I said last week… Another win (and appearance in fact) for Dark order on Aew’s YouTube shows. No sure what the plan is for this now-diminished faction but they’re back doing skits about hiring folks to be in the group on Bte, so maybe that’s a good sign? Otherwise, this was your typical Dark Order squash match against enhancement talent.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Big Bill def. Gino
My Thoughts: Squash! And one that went on too long for a squash match. Ridiculous.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Jade Cargill and Leila Grey def.

Adam Page turned the tables, delivering a big boot to Moxley as they brawled amongst the fans. Moxley applied the figure four on the floors and flipped off Adam Page. Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features nine matches and is once again filmed at the Dark studios in Orlando, Florida rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Ar Fox & Top Flight def. The Wingmen
My Thoughts: What’s this? The Wingmen in a decent match shocker! I know that’s hard to believe given how they’ve been booked in forever… but it looks like the were given a chance to shine against Top Flight and Ar Fox, who also managed to draw out decent wrestling from the normally-comedic team. Surprising but superb start to this week’s show.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Red Velvet def. Sofia Castillo
My Thoughts: What went on here then? Red Velvet has a good match on Elevation then we get this on Dark. In one match she looks strong and...
