Did you know that the "Five Nights at Freddy's" trailer features more than one version of Freddy Fazbear? That's right. The Freddy that is shown on stage ready to sing with Bonnie, Foxy, and Chica is not the same Freddy shown in the back seat with Abby Schmidt (Piper Rubio). That Freddy is known as Golden Freddy and is a completely different character with different motivations. I know, unless you've dedicated years of your life to making sense of the lore, this might not be the easiest thing to follow. The best way I can explain it is that Golden Freddy is like ... a limited edition version of Freddy Fazbear.
He looks similar to the original character, but he's not the original character, nor is he controlled by the same child's soul. Yeah, those animatronics are controlled by the ghosts of dead kids, in case you didn't know. The games...

"Tell me how to stop them?" "You don't." Blumhouse has revealed a second official trailer for Five Nights At Freddy's, arriving in theaters just in time for Halloween this fall. The first two trailers have been pretty good, maybe more footage will get your attention. Based on the super popular video game series of the same name. The series consists of nine games at various locations connected to a family pizza restaurant franchise named "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza", based on its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear. In this horror movie, a troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy's has awoken something horrifying. Starring Josh Hutcherson, also with Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, Mary Stuart Masterson, Kat Conner Sterling, Jessica Weiss, and Grant Feely. Very curious to see how they expand this story with these animatronic monsters.

The Force may have been strong with Luke Skywalker, but Mark Hamill is certain that he will be hanging up his lightsaber once and for all. Not only that, but he’s confident that the Star Wars saga will be just fine without the beloved Jedi.
Mark Hamill has been chatting about Luke Skywalker a lot lately, with one notable take saying he’s open to being replaced by a younger actor. But now he has doubled down, saying maybe the character doesn’t need to be in the series anymore at all. “You never say never. I just don’t see any reason to [play him again]. Let me put it that way: I mean, they have so many stories to tell, they don’t need Luke anymore.” Hamill’s wording certainly catches attention, as he’s not saying “they don’t need me anymore” but specifically Luke, who served as the...

Darth Vader “was such an iconic character ever since I was a little kid, so getting to play this role was really just the opportunity of a lifetime,” reveals Hayden Christensen about returning to the “Star Wars” fold as the legendary character. For our recent webchat he adds, “I don’t know that I could ever fully get my head around how big it was, just because it didn’t really serve my purposes as an actor, and trying to figure out how to play this character,” he explains, “to come back all these years later and do some more with him has just been a phenomenal experience.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.

“I was a genre kid, I was a little goth kid. I was all about sci-fi and fantasy and this was always the pinnacle of everything,” reveals director/producer Deborah Chow about what leading the creative team behind “Obi-Wan Kenobi” meant to her. For our recent webchat she adds, “it definitely felt surreal in moments, for sure. I remember the very first time we were doing a camera test, it wasn’t even the proper costume. But, you know he was in something approximating it, and he walked out, and it was just like, ‘oh, my God, it’s Obi-Wan Kenobi’ and he just sort of fell so seamlessly back into the character,” she says. “They’re so iconic that it is a little crazy to have them standing in front of you. "Star Wars" tends to hog the spotlight during discussions of legacy characters and the weight that new actors feel when taking over the roles first embodied by such big-name actors. The recently-wrapped "Obi-Wan Kenobi" uses several recast characters to tell its story, for instance: Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan, Hayden Christensen's Anakin, Vivien Lyra Blair as young Leia, and Grant Feely as young Luke. But that other major sci-fi franchise currently ongoing, "Star Trek," has faced (and overcome) similar challenges in terms of finding the perfect actors to channel the performances laid down by their predecessors.

Warning: major spoilers ahead for the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" season finale.
The season finale of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" ends on a rather emotional note, as things (kind of) come full circle for our central characters, setting them back on the paths they are meant to take moving forward. The episode's highlight is an epic final confrontation between Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen), paving the way for many callbacks, which, in turn, line up fairly well with the emotional arcs of the characters involved.

There can be no mistaking that elaborate hairdo, even on such a tiny head: This is young Leia Organa.
Well, not exactly. It’s a friend Leia enlists to play a prank on her mother, but with a triumphant swell of John Williams and Natalie Holt’s score we quickly cut to the real Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair), sprinting through the forest while her braids trail behind her.

Spoiler Alert: This review contains some minor spoilers for the first two episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” which premiered May 27 on Disney+.
The extensive recap of the “Star Wars” prequels that opens the new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series is as utilitarian as it is canny. On the one hand, it serves as a reminder of the plot basics that led to this moment in the franchise, with Ewan McGregor’s jaded Jedi reluctantly digging up his old lightsaber 10 years after Anakin Skywalker went to the Dark Side. On the other, getting such a concentrated shot of those 20 year-old movies serves as a handy reminder of their infamy, how much has happened in Lucasfilm’s ever-expanding galaxy since, and why “Obi-Wan Kenobi” represents a singular opportunity within it. For as many “Star Wars” projects as there are in development, this one’s characters and mythology are the most directly tied to the original...

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 1 and 2
Ewan McGregor’s return as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Prequel kid dream. With the sort of cast reunion the Sequel Trilogy provided for the children of the ’80s, McGregor and Hayden Christensen are poised to stoke the same fervor for fans who grew up in the early 2000s. Luckily, Deborah Chow brings her directorial confidence from The Mandalorian to a strong start for the six-episode Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries. Backed by the tragic events of the Prequel Trilogy and McGregor’s powerful acting, the two-part opener offers plenty of Star Wars delight and solid characterization for the Jedi on the run.

Disney was extremely secretive about the plot details of the new Star Wars series "Obi-Wan Kenobi," which started streaming episodes on May 27. Fans knew about a lot of the cast. Ewan McGregor would be back as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hayden Christensen would reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker, and Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse would return as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, watching over a young Luke Skywalker (Grant Feely). But viewers didn't know that Luke's sister would be in the show, too. Vivien Lyra Blair plays a 10-year-old Princess Leia, and from the first moment she's on screen, she's an absolute delight.

May the 4th finally brings us a new look at Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new Disney+ series that will reunite fans with the Jedi Master in exile 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi Order has fallen and from the ashes of the Republic rises the Empire and Darth Vader. But not all Jedi are dead, even a decade after Order 66. Many former knights and padawans still live as fugitives in hiding as Obi-Wan does. That’s why the Empire has created the Inquisitorius, Jedi hunters tasked with wiping out the last remaining members of the ancient religion. On the new show, we’ll see Obi-Wan face off against the cruel Inquisitors as well as their master, the dreaded Dark Lord of the Sith himself.
Ahead of the show’s release later this month, we have a new trailer that gives us some new information...

The premiere of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is only a few weeks away. It’ll not only see the return of Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan from the Prequel Trilogy but also Hayden Christensen, this time in the dreaded armor of Darth Vader. It will also introduce one particularly well-known Star Wars animated character to live action.
Rupert Friend (The French Dispatch) plays the cruel Grand Inquisitor, leader of an order of Jedi hunters who work for Vader and the Empire. The show’s trailer hints that it’s the Grand Inquisitor’s arrival on Tatooine that forces Obi-Wan to come out of hiding for one more fight.
While we don’t know exactly how things will play out, Friend has been talking hinting at what fans should expect from the upcoming Disney+ series. In an interview with Hey U Guys, the actor teased the sheer amount of fan service...

Not all heroes wear capes (but some of the Jedi do). Mark Hamill recently took to Twitter to give his blessing to child actor Grant Feely, who will play a young Luke Skywalker in the upcoming Disney+ "Star Wars" limited series, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" (via Variety). Here's what Master Skywalker had to say to the young actor:
This sweet and endearing gesture did not go unnoticed by Grant, who responded with the following:
"I am so honored to take on this role @HamillHimself! You set the bar high and I hope to make you proud. Your support means so much!"
Yeah, I'm...

It’s no secret that Lucasfilm’s next big Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, will be filled to the brim with nostalgia and fan service. The first trailer confirmed the show will bring back Luke Skywalker, Uncle Ben, and Aunt Beru on Tatooine; the Inquisitors from the Rebels animated series will be hunting Kenobi; and Darth Vader is back for revenge. And there are plenty of rumors and leaks out there suggesting that these are only a fraction of the cameos and callbacks in this six-episode limited series. Obi-Wan Kenobi will undoubtedly deliver the easter egg-y goodness Disney fans crave.
Bringing back these elements from the Prequel and A New Hope eras of Star Wars is a no-brainer, considering the Disney+ show takes place in between the two — 10 years after Revenge of the Sith but 9 years before the Original Trilogy. Like Rebels before it, Obi-Wan Kenobi is in the unique...

The first trailer for Disney Plus’ upcoming “Star Wars” limited series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” was nearly stolen by a young Luke Skywalker, who briefly appears in the footage being watched by Ewan McGregor’s eponymous Jedi. The series, set 10 years after the events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,” follows Obi-Wan as he’s thrown into a new adventure while keeping watch over Luke on Tatooine. Luke is a child in the series played by actor Grant Feely, whose only other credit is an episode of “Creepshow.”
“Grant Feely looks like a perfect Luke Skywalker,” Hamill posted on social media, giving the child actor his blessing. “I am wishing him all the very best!” The actor added via hashtag, “The Force Is With Feely.”
Hamill originated the role of Luke Skywalker in George Lucas’ 1977 “Star Wars,” reprising the character in two direct sequels and the most recent “Star Wars” film trilogy.

As excitement builds for “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” new information continues to reveal that the Disney+ limited series was once supposed to look very different. Following last week’s news that the first batch of scripts from writer Hossein Amini were scrapped in favor of a more uplifting story, a new report from The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the show was also set to feature legendary “Star Wars” villain Darth Maul. However, the character ended up being a casualty of the show’s creative overhaul, when pre-production was halted in 2020 and writer Joby Harold was brought in to craft a new story.
Original actor Ray Park (who played Darth Maul in 1999’s “The Phantom Menace”) had signed on to reprise his role as the Sith Lord, according to multiple sources in the article. The report contains conflicting stories from different sources, with some saying that Park was simply rehearsing with the show...
