If you are a One Punch Man fan, then you must be used to fights getting over in just a millisecond as soon as Saitama enters the scene. The protagonist is so overpowered that he is bored most of the time. So the plot is mostly driven by the struggles of the secondary characters in the anime.
One such below-average hero is Mumen Rider (Satoru). While he is merely a C-Ranked hero, he has won over the hearts of every One Punch Man fanatic. In fact, if this were any other shonen anime, he would be the underdog protagonist who believes in the power of justice and friendship.
Well, a fan theory suggests just that, and more outrageously, it’s not Saitama but Mumen Rider, who is the main attraction of One Punch Man.

Goku and Gojo Satoru are the two pinnacle of strengths in their respective universes. While one is the strongest Saiyan fighter in the Dragon Ball world, another is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer to ever exist in Jujutsu Kaisen. The two have totally different powers and abilities, but their battle will be an interesting sight for anime and manga fans.
Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen season two
While the chance of this battle ever taking place is impossible, a Jujutsu Kaisen fan account recently shared a post on X(Formerly Twitter) which had an edited image of a fight between Goku and Gojo Satoru. When Fast & Furious director Justin Lin was revealed to be at the helm of the live-action One-Punch Man film back in June 2022, the script was in the hands of Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner of Venom and Jumanji: The Next Level . Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter , Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon is teaming up with writer Heather Anne Campbell on a rewrite of the script. The news closed out the end of the latest update on Justin Lin's directorial work. The next project he's hopped on is crime thriller Stakehorse , based on a script by Justin Piasecki that found itself near the top of the 2023 Black List. In a much anticipated update for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of One Punch Man, it has been revealed that Sony Pictures has enlisted the talents of Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon, alongside Heather Anne Campbell, to pen the script.
Dan and Heather will be replacing the previously announced writers, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, to rewrite the script.
Sony’s Columbia Pictures announced on April 21, 2020, that they were developing a live-action film adaptation. On June 13, 2022, Justin Lin was unveiled as the director and co-producer, with plans for production to commence later in the year.

Justin Lin is ready to announce his next project, Stakehorse. Is it about a horse made of wooden stakes? Doubtful. Sources say the forthcoming crime thriller is like Ben Affleck’s 2010 banger The Town. The screenplay hails from Justin Piasecki, with a plot revolving around a horse veterinarian who has a side hustle patching up criminals who need medical attention under the table.

Ever since the show's Season 2 finale in 2019, the hype surrounding One-Punch Man Season 3 has been high.
One-Punch Man revolves around the story of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch and who grew bored from a lack of challenge.
The 12-episode first season of the anime explored Saitama's frustrations about easily defeating foes (it's an unending cycle). Meanwhile, Season 2 focused on Garou's arrival and Saitama's continued dominance.

It was recently announced that the Wizarding World is pivoting away from finishing its mixed bag of a "Harry Potter" prequel saga with "Fantastic Beasts" — which still providing some cool moments that improve on the "Potter" films — to instead retell the exact same tale of the Boy Who Lived (until he became a sacrificial lamb and sent to the slaughter). This news brought with it a lot of mixed reactions, from those who can't fundamentally reconcile their feelings for the franchise and the controversy surrounding its creator, notorious bigot J.K. Rowling, to even those who would like the property to try something new rather than just tell the same story over and over again and never move beyond Hogwarts.
Regardless, there is no denying that the idea of a school but with magic is compelling -- but how to scratch that itch without supporting Rowling or rewatching the exact same story told a second time?...

After spending 15-plus years as the brain behind the “Fast and the Furious” franchise, Justin Lin has lined up his first post-car racing film. The filmmaker, who left “Fast X” over creative differences last year, is set to direct “The Last Days of John Allen Chau,” IndieWire has confirmed.
The film, an indie based on the 2019 Outside Magazine article by Alex Perry, will represent something of a return to Lin’s roots. The director first rose to prominence with several independent films like “Shopping for Fangs,” 2002 Sundance title “Better Luck Tomorrow,” and 2007’s “Finishing the Game.” Since 2006, however, Lin has become best known for his work on the blockbuster “Fast and the Furious” movies, directing “Tokyo Drift” and the following four titles in the series. After handing the franchise off to James Wan and F. Gary Gray after “Fast and Furious 6,” he returned to the director’s chair for 2021’s “F9,...

One of the most powerful and yet boring superheroes ever is Saitama, better known as One-Punch Man. Why is that? The hint is in the name. Whenever he fights someone, all he has to do is hit them once and they’re dead. Like, literally. And on top of that, he can take the most unimaginable type of beatings like they’re nothing. Honestly, he makes the strength and durability of Superman look like a total joke. Take characters like Superman or Goku, you name them, the bald-headed, nearly always stoic Saitama could punch a hole through their chests. And he’ll most

Justin Lin is attached to direct an upcoming film adaptation of the popular manga “One Punch Man.”
Lin will direct the film based on a script from “Venom” and “Jumanji: The Next Level” screenwriters Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. Sony Pictures is backing the film, and Lin will produce alongside Avi and Ari Arad of Arad Productions.
“One Punch Man” will be Lin’s first project following the announcement this April that he exited directing “Fast X,” the latest film in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. He’d previously directed four films for the franchise, starting with 2006’s “Tokyo Drift,” and also helmed the 2018 film “Star Trek Beyond.”
Created by Japanese artist One as a webcomic in 2009, “One Punch Man” focuses on Saitama, an average, unemployed man who trains to become a superhero, and develops the ability to defeat any opponent — no matter how powerful — with a single punch. Saitama...

Although not exactly that most exported genre towards the West, comedy still holds a significant part in the industries of Asian countries, even the style of humor can occasionally be described as “too local”. Nevertheless, there are movies whose style of comedy can be perceived as universal, with Korean titles being closer to the US style of comedy, Japanese being as weird and extreme as possible, Chinese following deadpan paths for the most part and Indian ones indulging in crudity on occasion. To be as inclusive as possible, we also included some romantic comedy titles, with the focus, as always, being on diversity

A sequel to the 2019 hit comedy “Fly Me to the Saitama” has been announced. Stars Nikaido Fumi and Gackt will return, as will director Takeuchi Hideki.
Details about the production start date and story are sparce, though Takeuchi earlier told “Variety” that he was thinking of setting the sequel in the Kansai region. Release is set for 2022.
The first film, distributed by Toei, made $34 million at the Japanese box office and received 12 Japan Academy Prize nominations. It won three awards, including best script and best director honors.
Based on a 1980s comic series of the same name by Maya Mineo, the story begins in the present as a family from Saitama, a much-mocked prefecture adjacent to Tokyo, listen to a radio drama as they drive to a ceremony marking the daughter’s engagement to another Saitama native.

Japanese creators have the uncanny ability of making nonsensical and preposterous themes and notions seem coherent, and in the process creating very entertaining titles. This tendency becomes quite evident in some of the anime series of the latest years, as the “Monogatari” series, “Kill La Kill” and “Assassination Classroom.” “One Punch Man” is also a distinct example of the tendency.
The anime is based on the homonymous, ongoing web comic by One, which begun publication in 2009. In 2012, Viz Media remade it into an extremely successful manga that sold over 4,5 million copies by 2014, and in 2015, Madhouse produced the anime series, which consists of 12 episodes.
The script revolves around Saitama, a human so strong that can vanquish any kind of enemy comes his way with just a single punch. And living in City Z, where monsters appear frequently to cause disasters, he has plenty of chances to do so.
