Gabe Grifoni was born in Italy and raised in New York City before
moving to Westchester County during middle school. He attended high
school at White Plains High (go Tigers!). For undergraduate study he
enrolled as a computer engineering major at Lehigh University and
eventually switched majors and graduated with a BS in Business &
Economics.
His first job was as a PA on the Daily Show and soon after leaving
there he moved to Los Angeles to pursue writing and acting. He's worked
as a writers assistant on shows including Sports Night, Off Centre,
Platonically Incorrect and Scrubs.
His feature writing credits include the Screen Gems release "Wieners."
He and his writing partner have been tapped to write the Untitled
Engineering Comedy based around nerds at a Northeast tech school for
Walden Media/Bristol Bay (Charlottes Web, The Chronicles of
Narnia).
First Job: Hecht Hardware - opened by his great grandfather in 1904 and
been family run since. Still works to help out when he goes home for
vacations.
