Edward Georger

Edward Georger serves as executive vice president of ad sales and digital media for Crown Media Family Networks, home of Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies Now, and Hallmark Publishing. Georger is based in the company's New York office and reports to Crown Media's President & CEO, Wonya Lucas.
In his role, Georger oversees all aspects of national advertising sales for the company's three linear channels and digital media platforms. Additionally, he is charged with oversight of the company's advanced advertising sales opportunities. Georger supervises regional sales offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta, as well as the ad sales marketing, ad sales research, direct response, and traffic teams.
Previously, Georger was the senior vice president of ad sales and general manager of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In that capacity, Georger oversaw sales teams in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta, including direct response and paid programming sales. Georger was instrumental in forming the networks' Sponsorship Solutions Unit, which creates customized and multi-platform opportunities for advertisers. He also played an integral role in opening the company's advertising sales office in Atlanta.
Prior to joining Crown Media Family Networks in 2000, Georger held key positions at the Family Channel, Fox Family Channel, and Backer Spielvogel Bates, Inc.
Georger received a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of South Carolina. He resides in Westchester, New York with his wife and twin daughters.
