The official trailer for horror anthology film Gallery of Fear just arrived online, and it contains an amazing amount of screaming, creepy characters doing bad things to each other. The film is made up of four stories, and the lovely Debbie Rochon ties them all together as Ms. Roberta Van Houten.
The shorts within the film are entitled "Critic's Choice", "By Her Hand She Drags You Down", "Down the Drain" and "A Far Cry From Home". Gallery of Fear is written and directed by Alan Rowe Kelly and Anthony Sumner and along with Rochon stars Jerry Murdock, Zoe Daelman Chlanda, Alan Rowe Kelly, Don Money, Terry M. West, Katherine O'Sullivan, Raine Brown, Benzy, Shane Kulman, Mike Lane, Robert Norman, Miguel Lopez, Jessie May Laumann and Tom Lanier.

The first thing people will notice about horror director Alan Rowe Kelly (Don't Look In The Basement, I'll Bury You Tomorrow) is that he is a gender bender, but Kelly has been bending more then genders his entire career as he has broken out the idea of conventionality. At the age of 39, with 40 just right around the corner, he had an epiphany. Bored with a career as a stylist, he made the sudden and dramatic move to horror. First testing the waters as an author, he switched over to the world of indie horror film directing where he won great acclaim for "I"ll Bury You Tomorrow". As he continued to direct films, he also started making a name for himself in the indie horror world as an actor playing power players, agents, something that rhymes with witch, etc. These were powerful, empowered characters that personally reflected upon Alan Rowe Kelly himself.

I watched this very cool and creepy short film the other day called Contact from writer/director Jeremiah Kipp. Contact stars Zoe Daelman Chlanda, Robb Leigh Davis, Katherine O'Sullivan, Tom Reid, Danny Lopes and Alan Rowe Kelly and includes a very talented production team.
Contact is a 10 minute black and white short felt more like a full-length feature. It starts out in what is an uneasy and uncomfortable setting then moves to the main story which to me focuses on drug use and finally ends back where it all begins but with forgiveness and redemption. It feels like a Twilight Zone episode on drugs!
I personally think everyone should check this short film out, for one reason or another it kind of has a message for a lot of us!
