Everyone’s favorite legal drama franchise, Suits, is back with a brand-new spinoff series, Suits: LA, and fans couldn’t be more elated. Albeit the absence of the fan-favorite duo of dapper hunks Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J.Adams) — who carried the weight of the show on their perfectly broad shoulders — the fresh faces and exciting new storylines showcase immense potential to leave you just as hooked as the original. Taurus (April 20 - May 20) is the only zodiac sign that combines so many different traits that it seems absolutely impossible for one person to represent them all. But somehow we really do! And believe me when I say it, because I am a Taurus.
We are loyal, stubborn, sensual, extremely lazy or the most hardworking people out there. We can work without weekends for months but still be the ones who will somehow put their comfort before all. We love hedonistic lifestyle: literally, there are only few things that I enjoy more than going out for some fancy food.
Our preferences are all over the place, and that includes the TV shows we like. So here's a list of series every Taurus will find extremely bingeable.

There’s nobody quite like Harvey Specter. The character from Suits is undeniably one of the best ever created. Since the show ended, the fan base for this character has only grown stronger. As a result, the idea of a spin-off emerged called Suits L.A., and work on it is in full swing, although details are still tightly under wraps.
While it’s a spin-off, the show promises to offer audiences something new while maintaining the integrity of the original series. And Stephen Amell’s character, Ted Black, already proves that while loosely inspired by Harvey Specter, Black differs from Specter in one significant way.

How Does Stephen Amell’s Ted Black Differ From Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter?
As a spin-off, comparisons between Suits L.A. and the original series are inevitable, with particular scrutiny likely falling on Stephen Amell’s character, Ted Black.

We're living a Suits Renaissance!
The former USA Network series that dominated cable television during the golden era of Blue Sky Dramas has found an unprecedented level of success across streaming platforms, building an entirely new audience since the series signed off its original run in 2019.

Once upon a time before she married a prince, Meghan Markle was a working actor who starred in the legal drama Suits. The now-duchess played Rachel Zane on the series from 2011 to 2018. Meghan left the show before her royal wedding to Prince Harry, an affair that her Suits co-stars attended.
The show had a resurgence in 2023 when it became available on the streaming platforms Netflix and Peacock. And now, there’s even a new reboot in the works titled Suits: LA. Because of that, there’s been speculation about whether Harry’s wife or any of her castmates will make a cameo in the new series. Meghan’s former co-stars haven’t had any contact with her though, and one even admitted he’s “scared” to talk to her now. Here’s more on that.

While fans have been calling for the legal drama’s return, we’re getting the next best thing.
NBC recently placed a pilot order for Suits: L.A., a new series set in the same world as Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres).
It seems like the network is fast-tracking the series because we learned today that Stephen Amell has been set as its lead.
The next chapter in the Suits universe finds the Arrow alum playing Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has switched things up by representing some of the most influential people in Los Angeles.
The series starts with his firm on the brink of collapse, and he’s forced to take big risks to survive and thrive.

After the resurgence of popularity of Suits thanks to Netflix, was anyone surprised when it was announced that two of its stars would be among the presenters at the 2024 Golden Globes? We knew heading into the awards show that Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, who starred as Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, the college dropout who never attended law school and the corporate lawyer who hired him, were on the list of presenters. And they took the stage to present Best TV Series — Drama, only for viewers to be treated to a surprise mid-way through. “There is nothing more dramatic or anxiety-inducing than waiting all night to hear that your category has finally arrived,” Macht remarked. “Yes, yes, that’s true. It’s hard to imagine having to wait so long for your show to get that kind of recognition,” Adams quipped. “What are you talking about?” Macht asked,...

Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht are sharing their thoughts on Suits‘ streaming success over the summer, and whether or not they would reprise their characters for the potential spinoff series that would be set in the Suits universe.
The former co-stars, who were also presenting at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday, said on the red carpet to Variety that they were “very grateful” for the resurgence in the show’s popularity after it began streaming on Netflix (in addition to Peacock) in June. The series originally aired on the USA Network from 2011 to 2019.

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards are mere days away, and as the big event prepares to honor the best and brightest that TV and film have to offer, the ceremony is also apparently making way for a possible Suits reunion. Adams who played Harvey Specter and Mike Ross in the former USA Network hit will be reunited among the 81st annual ceremony’s presenters. The duo are just two of the names listed in a starry lineup. (Credit: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images) Joining Macht and Adams as presenters are The Dropout‘s Amanda Seyfried, 9-1-1‘s Angela Bassett, George Lopez, Julia Garner, Justin Hartley, Michelle Yeoh (who stars in Netflix‘s new series The Brothers Sun), and Will Ferrell. Sarah Rafferty says she remains “gobsmacked” over how many new people have discovered Suits on Netflix.
In an interview with People, the actress who played the beloved Donna Paulsen on the USA series said “you can’t really metabolize that in a real-world kind of way” when seeing how many billions of viewing minutes the show has racked up on the streamer. Suits centers on famous litigator Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) who, impressed by university expellee Mike Ross’s (Patrick J. According to TVLine, there is “very legitimate talk” about a revival of White Collar, the USA Network drama starring Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Willie Garson, and Tiffani Thiessen.
“There has been talk. It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s in conversation,” Matt Bomer said, adding that “a lot of things need to fall into place, but there is a plan in effect, at least, so we’ll see what happens.”
Matt Bomer starred as Neal Caffrey, a highly intelligent and multi-talented con artist, forger, and thief who is forced to work as a criminal informant and FBI consultant. DeKay also starred as FBI Special Agent in Charge Peter Burke, Willie Garson as Mozzie, Neal’s close friend and fellow con artist, and Tiffani Thiessen as Elizabeth Burke, Peter’s wife. If a White Collar revival does happen, it would sadly have to do without Willie Garson, who died in 2021. However,...

"Rules aren't right or wrong. Every line I've ever crossed, I'd do it again because I am fine with what's in my soul." These lines, spoken by corporate attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) in "Suits," define what kind of person he is. Willing to take risks even when the odds are decisively stacked against him, Harvey is the kind of lawyer who is able to snake his way out of the trickiest of situations. His partnership with Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) — whom he had hired as an associate by going up against established rules — forms the crux of "Suits," as the seasons hone in on Harvey's ability to run against the stream and still emerge victorious.
However, no man is infallible, and the same applies to Harvey Specter, who starts cracking under the pressure of personal loss, especially after Mike is arrested and imprisoned in season 6 of the show.

As someone who once served on a grand jury trial for several weeks in a row, allow me to be the first to inform the "Suits" fandom out there: real-life legal proceedings are usually boring, tedious, and mind-numbingly slow. Basically, they're everything that fictional legal dramas ought not to be, which is why countless movies and shows set in and around courtrooms -- from "Jag" and "NCIS" to "Better Call Saul" and, yes, "Suits" -- have had to resort to a little artistic license in order to punch up scripts and get viewers swept up in the action. That said, executive producer, writer, and series creator Aaron Korsh actually pulled the concept of the show straight from his own personal experience. After that, well, he relied on the imagination and creativity of his writing team to turn "Suits" into the sensation that it's become.

2023 will forever be the year of "Suits," despite the fact the show ended back in 2019. Why's that? Because Netflix has reinvigorated the interest in the show. In fact, the streamer has made the legal drama nothing short of a sensation, prompting series creator Aaron Korsh to offer his theory on the series' newfound success. There's even a new show set in the "Suits" universe in development, which follows months of speculation that the series would return in the wake of its resurgent popularity.
But if the show proper did return, one big question many fans would have is whether Patrick J. Adams' Mike Ross would be involved. Originally, "Suits" was based around the central conceit of attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) sneaking Ross and his preternatural legal talents into his law firm despite the fact that he never went to law school. But by the seventh season, Adams decided to...

How we feeling, "Suits" Hive? In the span of a few short months, the USA Network's reliably consistent performer has transformed into a streaming juggernaut since its arrival on Netflix this past summer. Never mind that the legal series came to a close back in 2019 after nine total seasons. Fans just haven't been able to get enough of Patrick Adams' Mike Ross, Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter, and, of course, paralegal Rachel Zane played by Meghan Markle.
With so much renewed attention directed towards "Suits," many viewers (and undoubtedly more than a few studio execs) have wondered about the logistics of possibly bringing the popular show back in some form or another. A sequel series picking up on Harvey and Mike's continuing adventures in Seattle? A possible revival sometime down the line? How about a full-scale reboot? Unfortunately, none of this seems all that likely to actually come to...

Call it the “Suits” effect. After the gargantuan performance of the USA series following its debut on Netflix in July, the streamer signaled on Wednesday that it may be increasing its licensed content in the near future.
“As the competitive environment evolves, we may have increased opportunities to license more hit titles to complement our original programming,” Netflix said in its third quarter earnings statement. “We believe this will deliver additional value for our members, as well as for rights holders who benefit from the increased awareness and revenue that Netflix delivers, in addition to the new life that success on Netflix can drive.”
The streamer cited “Friends” and “The Office” — two titles it no longer holds the license to — as other examples of licensed shows that drive success on Netflix.

Suits has been a huge success for Netflix since it launched on the streamer, breaking streaming viewership numbers.
The USA Network legal drama spent 12 weeks in the number one spot on the Nielsen streaming charts, beating Ozark’s record.
Deadline subsequently revealed that creator Aaron Korsh was developing a new offshoot for NBCUniversal (something Netflix pointed to in its own third quarter financials).
Netflix is now looking for more licensed shows that it can acquire and will hopefully have the same effect.
“This legal drama originally premiered on USA Network in 2011 and ran until 2019. Despite having been available on other streaming services, the debut of seasons one to eight on Netflix in July broke viewing records,” it noted in its results.

Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett may have played love interests on "Suits," but their nearly two-decade-long romance is an even more beautiful story. Did you know they met on a blind date? The actors have been married since 2004 and share two children, a son named Luca and a daughter named Satine. While the two remain primarily tight-lipped about their personal lives, Barrett and Macht's Instagram posts show just how much fun they have with their children.
In April 2016, Macht spoke to Woman's Day about how his family is the most important thing in his life. "I'm a family man," the "Because I Said So" actor told the outlet at the time. "My relationships with my wife and my kids are my priorities. And I have the utmost confidence in my love for my family and I prioritize that."
Macht also shared how he differs from his "Suits" character, Harvey Specter.

There’s more Suits coming!
Following the streaming success of the original series, which notably starred Meghan Markle and wrapped in 2019, series creator Aaron Korsh is in the early stages of developing a show set in the world of the USA Network legal drama for NBCUniversal, via THR.
The show is not a reboot or a sequel, but would feature “new characters and a new setting, similar to other multi-show franchises (whether there would be any crossover potential with the original is a question for much further down the road).”
Los Angeles is the most likely setting for the project, according to THR‘s sources.
The news comes after Suits spent 12 straight weeks as the most-streamed title in the United States, according to Nielsen.

Despite coming to an end four years ago, Suits has been the hottest TV series of the summer, even breaking a handful of Nielsen streaming records and becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched series. In response to the renewed attention, Deadline reports that creator Aaron Korsh is developing a new Suits series for NBCUniversal.
This won’t be a revival or reboot of Suits, and it won’t necessarily be a spin-off either, but rather a new series taking place in the same universe. It would feature new characters and take place in a new location, with Deadline hearing that Los Angeles is being considered. Deals are still in the process of being negotiated, but the project is expected to be fast-tracked once everything is worked out.

Exclusive: For the past four months, Suits has been the hottest series on television, breaking a slew of streaming viewership records. Now the franchise, which ended in September 2019 with the Suits series finale, is plotting a comeback.
Series creator Aaron Korsh is in development of a Suits offshoot for NBCUniversal, sources tell Deadline. Deals are still being negotiated, but I hear the project is expected to be fast-tracked with a serious commitment.
This is not a revival or reboot and, unlike the 2019 Pearson, the new legal procedural is not a spinoff either — it would be a Suits universe series in the vein of the CSI and NCIS franchises featuring new characters in a new location, sources said. I hear Los Angeles is a backdrop considered for the workplace drama.
Like is the case for most NBCUniversal development, a network or platform for the potential new series has not been determined yet.

"Suits" started streaming on Netflix in June just when summer was kicking off this year. Since then, it has become one of the most watched shows of the modern era, amassing over 3 billion "watch minutes" per week over most of the summer. The dramedy series about the inner workings of a top law firm was a steady fan favorite hit for USA Network over nine seasons, garnering good reviews and consistent ratings. "Suits" ended its memorable run in 2019 and, since then, it hasn't necessarily occupied a ton of real estate in the minds of mainstream audiences. Until now.
