Emma Raducanu has elected to play in the upcoming Kooyong Classic, which serves as a warm-up exhibition tournament before the Australian Open.
The 2024 Koooyong Classic will run from January 10th to 12th and feature several Atp stars like Jannik Sinner, Holger Rune, Karen Khachanov, Stan Wawrinka and Frances Tiafoe.
The tournament has not confirmed Raducanu's opponent in the women's edition at the Kooyong Classic. However, the Daily Mail is reporting that 16-year-old Russian prodigy Mirra Andreeva is the likely opponent for the Brit.
The 21-year-old returned to tennis action for the first time since April 2023 at this week's Asb Classic in Auckland. Raducnau made a heartening start in her comeback tournament, winning her first match against Elena-Gabriela Ruse.
She came close to recording back-to-back wins but fell to Elina Svitolina in three sets after nearly three hours of court time in the subsequent round. There were fears that Raducanu might...

The first Grand Slam tournament of the 2024 season is on the horizon, and the entry list for the women's edition of the Australian Open has been released.
Running from January 14th to 28th, next year's Australian Open will have a historic Sunday start. One hundred twenty-eight women will compete in the biggest party of Australian summer, but only one player will be lucky enough to emerge from the fortnight with the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup.
The Australian Open is played on outdoor hard courts at its famed home - Melbourne Park. It's been ten years since there was a successful title defense in the women's tournament, so is that trend likely to continue, or will Belarus Aryna Sabalenka defend the crown she won 12 months ago?

Emma Raducanu is very happy with her level at the 2024 Asb Classic, her first tournament since a long layoff with injury.
Raducanu lost to Elina Svitolina at the Asb Classic. However, the first two sets of the contest were of outstanding quality. It was only in the deciding set that the Brit fell away slightly.
Some fatigue from Raducanu's first-round win against Elena-Gabriela Ruse may have played a part. She won that match in three long sets, and getting over the line in three sets again so soon into her comeback was a tough ask.
Nevertheless, the high level of Raducanu's tennis surprised many. These were her first competitive matches in nearly nine months, making her performances extremely admirable, with the fans in Auckland clearly appreciating her efforts.
After the match, during her press conference, Raducanu said she was feeling good after being able to compete with a great player...

Emma Raducanu has shared some of the details on being out with injury, explaining that she was still extremely busy despite trying to recover in time for the 2024 season.
Raducanu was ruled out for most of 2023 after she underwent three different surgeries on her wrists and ankle. Following the surgeries and her eventual recovery, Raducanu made her return after eight months out at the Asb Classic this week.
Things started positively as the Brit beat Elena-Gabriela Ruse across three sets before losing to the competition's second seed, Elina Svitolina in round two. In her post-match press conference, Raducanu opened up about what life was like whilst injured, and she explained that it was not relaxing at all.
"Things never really slow down for me. I think people might have thought oh, injury, you must have so much time on your hands, and no, I've actually had even less,"

Emma Raducanu has already shown her potential as a top 10 player since returning to professional tennis, former British player Naomi Broady believes.
Raducanu returned to action for the first time in eight months with a solid first-round win over Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Asb Classic in Auckland. However, the 21-year-old was eliminated in the second round by Wta world number 25, Elina Svitolina.
Getting into the second round of a competitive tournament on her return might be seen as a positive at this stage for Raducanu, who spent the latter stages of 2023 recovering from wrist and ankle surgeries.
When reflecting on the former US Open champion's performances, compatriot Broady told Sky Sports that she saw glimpses of elite quality from Raducanu in her match against Svitolina.
“Loads of positives to take. Both of them played above their rankings."

Besides competing at the Asb Classic, Elina Svitolina had been contemplating getting a new tattoo and felt there was no better place to get it than in Auckland.
Svitolina, who is the second seed at the tournament, has had to dig deep to reach the semifinal stage of the Wta 250 event in New Zealand. The Ukrainian star had been out of action since a third-round defeat to Jessica Pegula at last year's US Open.
Returning in the opening week, she was bound to have rust-related issues, but far from it. Svitolina has played some fantastic tennis this week and is on course to set up an enticing final showdown against top seed Coco Gauff.
Having downed Caroline Wozniacki in the opening round in an exciting battle of mothers, Svitolina produced a come-from-behind victory over Emma Raducanu. The World No. 25 made light work of Marie Bouzkova in a surprisingly one-sided quarterfinal.

Emma Raducanu has opened up about how childhood lessons with her father helped to inspire her star-studded tennis career.
Raducanu had risen to global superstardom in recent years following her sensational US Open win in 2021, when she entered the tournament as a qualifier and progressed to her first Grand Slam win.
The British player also made her long-awaited return at the Asb Classic this week, initially beating Elena-Gabriela Ruse before a second-round three-sets loss against Elina Svitolina,
Although the 21-year-old is now competing at the top level and has a Grand Slam return in her sights after qualifying for the 2024 Australian Open in January, she had humble beginnings in tennis.
In a Q and A session with kids on the official Lawn Tennis Association (Lta) Instagram channel, Raducanu shared her initial route into tennis, which she owes to her father.
"My dad would do lessons with me in the backyard.

Emma Raducanu's second tennis match of her comeback did not go as planned, but she'll take plenty of positives from a valiant effort.
The British tennis star came within a few points of victory but lost agonizingly 7-6, 6-7, 1-6 in almost three hours against the second-seeded Elina Svitolina. She led the second-set tiebreak early on with a mini-break but struggled with her composure and fitness.
Her performance level at the Asb Classic, where she was playing as a wild card entrant, showcased why she is regarded as one of the world's top tennis stars, but her health has been the determinant factor of how her career has panned out so far.
Having recovered from three surgeries, there is concern within Raducanu's camp that her injury nightmare is not over. In her second-round match against the Ukrainian, the former US Open champion was visibly sporting heavy strapping on her upper leg.

Emma Raducanu will be certainly disappointed by her second-round loss at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland to Elina Svitolina, as the match could have ended differently.
In her first match after eight months, the British player showed why she's regarded as one of the most talented players on the Wta Tour. She overcame Elena-Gabriela Ruse despite the spirited effort from her opponent, but the second match was always going to be even more challenging.
Svitolina is a former world no. 3, and in 2023, she was voted the Comeback Player of the Year, after some sensational results following her break from tennis because of pregnancy.
The Ukrainian overcame former world no. 1, Caroline Wozniacki in the first round, and she wanted to beat back-to-back Grand Slam champions, something that is not a norm in the first two rounds of a Wta 250 tournament.

Emma Raducanu has returned to tennis, and she managed to be victorious in a tight match with Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland.
This was the 2021 US Open champion's first match since a defeat to Jelena Ostapenko on the clay courts of Stuttgart. There was a good crowd in Auckland, eagerly anticipating the return of the Brit.
Raducanu has been open about the issues she faced during her time on the sidelines, and that it has given her a more grateful, positive outlook. That attitude may have helped her claim victory against a determined Ruse.
Raducanu played really well in the opening set. In her first set back, she struck the ball cleanly from both sides, and kept unforced errors to a minimum. It led to her claiming the opening set 6-3, and looking dominant.
Understandably, Raducanu did not keep that high level for the entirety of the contest.

After much anticipation, Emma Raducanu is officially part of the 2024 Australian Open main draw after a series of withdrawals.
For much of the offseason, it looked like Emma Raducanu would be forced to play the Australian Open qualifiers as her special ranking was insufficient to enter the main draw directly.
As the season approached and players started to withdraw a small chance for the Brit to play at the event without having to play the qualifiers appeared.
She needed quite a few withdrawals, hence why the chance was small but ultimately, it happened. Players like Petra Kvitova contributed to that as she withdrew recently, but the final withdrawal came thanks to Lauren Davis, who was forced to pull out due to a shoulder injury.

Amanda Anisimova is back to tennis, but she will quickly want to forget her second match at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland against Marie Bouzkova.
In her first match at the Wta 250 tournament in New Zealand, the American player overcame Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, but it wasn't without injury struggles, as the 22-year-old received treatment between the sets.
After the match, she admitted that she had muscle spasms, and that's something that may have contributed to her second-round loss to the fifth-seeded Marie Bouzkova at the tournament.
From the start of the match, Anisimova just couldn't find her rhythm, and despite having two chances to break back after initially losing her serve in the second game of the match, she never did, and lost all of her serves in the opening set.
As a result, the American player lost the first set 0-6, and things were not looking any better in the second set of the match,...

Bianca Andreescu shared a list of uplifting and low moments from 2023 and asserted that it was a learning curve.
Andreescu rose to stardom following her groundbreaking success at the 2019 US Open when she became the first Canadian, male or female, to win a Grand Slam singles title. She has been ranked as high as World No. 4 - the peak of any Canadian player.
But sadly, her meteoric rise and instant success proved to be a flash in the pan, with injuries accounting largely for Andreescu's absence from the main tour. She has previously opened up about losing her love for the game amid mental health struggles.
After taking a six-month sabbatical between 2021 and 2022 in order to rediscover herself, Andreescu contemplated her long-term future in tennis and considered calling time on her playing career.
Although she returned to the courts with renewed vigor and new-found confidence, physical health struggles dictated the trajectory of her career.

Emma Raducanu is back to tennis, and her second match at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland will be a very tricky one against Elina Svitolina.
Very few players impressed as much as Elina Svitolina did last year, as the Ukrainian played some amazing tennis. Nobody really expected much from her upon return, but she did really well, especially at Grand Slams.
The first match in 2024 was a solid win over Caroline Wozniacki, so she'll clearly still 'got it'. When it comes to Raducanu, well, we all know what happened. She underwent triple surgery and spent the rest of the year building herself up to return to the sport.
It officially happened recently, and she won that match, though it was a close one.

It seemed all but given that Emma Raducanu would have to play the Australian Open qualifiers to play in Melbourne, but she might not, as she's only one withdrawal away from getting in.
Raducanu missed much of 2023 due to several injuries that were surgically repaired. She had a triple surgery, which obviously took a long time to rehab. A few setbacks pushed her return back, so she only returned recently in Auckland.
That inactivity affected her ranking, which plummeted quite a bit, leaving her unable to enter the event without having to play the qualifiers. That was weeks ago, but today, the situation is quite different.

Emma Raducanu is back on the tennis court and she started the 2024 Wta season with an impressive win at the Asb Classic in Auckland.
The British player has been away from the sport for eight months, and it wasn't an easy way back as she faced problems on her comeback. However, she returned, and she returned with a win over Elena-Gabriela Ruse in Auckland.
Raducanu believes she's a better player now, and she got to prove it at the Asb Classic, where she injured herself last year. After learning the draw, Raducanu knew she would play one of the qualifiers, which turned out to be one of her friends, Ruse.
The two have never met before, and it was an important meeting for both, as the Romanian was looking to follow up on good results from the qualifying, while the British wild card wanted to start the new season with a win.

Mothers Elina Svitolina and Caroline Wozniacki met at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland, and it could have been a winning start to the new Wta season only for one.
It's not often that mothers get to meet in a match on the Wta Tour, as there are not so many currently, but recently, the trend has changed, and more and more mothers are returning to the sport after their pregnancy.
The two are prime examples, but it's important not to forget the likes of Victoria Azarenka, who was one of the first mothers in recent history to return to tennis. Now, another player made a comeback as mother, when Naomi Osaka won her first match back.
Soon, the mother's club on the women's Tour will likely be joined by Petra Kvitova, who announced her pregnancy on January 1st, 2024. But another mother returned to the sport just recently, as Caroline Wozniacki made a surprising return.

Emma Raducanu has spoken about how difficult things got when she was out injured during the 2023 season.
The 2021 US Open champion is making her return to the sport after a long spell out with injury. Raducanu last competed on the Wta Tour in April, when she lost in straight sets to Jelena Ostapenko in Stuttgart.
Raducanu's first-round opponent for her comeback at the Asb Classic in Auckland has been set, and the tennis world will excitedly welcome back a player who has the potential to give so much more to the sport.
The Brit suffered from both wrist and ankle injuries. Operations were needed for both issues, which is a big part of why so much time was needed for Raducanu to return to tennis.

Emma Raducanu sounds in an upbeat mood ahead of her comeback, judging by a recent message she shared.
Raducanu is returning to professional tennis after a nearly a year away from the sport, and her first-round opponent for her comeback in Auckland has been confirmed.
Long-term injuries are difficult both mentally and physically for players, and what Raducanu went through will have taken a heavy toll on her at the time, as she watched her fellow players being able to compete.
However, Raducanu seems to be in a good place. In a post on her Instagram page, Raducanu expressed the appreciation she feels now after her problems.
"No secret 2023 had its obstacles. However, after the initial disappointment, it only made me appreciate the life I have more. Looking ahead to 2024 from down under, feeling grateful and up for facing whatever this new year presents."

Jack Draper, like many other British players, looks up to Andy Murray, and he recently talked about the Scot's impact on him.
Jack Draper is the future of British tennis alongside Emma Raducanu, and the country has high expectations of them. On the men's side, Draper will step into big shoes once Andy Murray retires, as he set the bar pretty high.
It's not something that scares the young Brit as he grew up watching Murray, so he's fully aware of everything he ever did. Most of those achievements were followed by Draper on TV, and he wants to do the same things: winning Wimbledon, the Olympics, and all the other tournaments.
He helped me before I even knew him; he's the one inspired me to so want to achieve great things in tennis. I remember watching him win Wimbledon in 2013. I remember him winning the Olympic Games in 2012, and when he played mixed doubles.

Emma Raducanu's opponent for her first Wta match in nearly nine months at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland has been confirmed.
Raducanu has not competed since a straight sets loss to Jelena Ostapenko on the clay courts of Stuttgart back in April. It has been a long and difficult road back for the Briton.
The 2021 US Open champion was sidelined with wrist and and ankle problems. She also required surgeries for both those injuries to enable a full recovery, which increased her time out of the game.

Emma Raducanu wants to shed the image of an injured player in her comeback as she prepares to play her first competitive match in months.
Before she started to get injured, Raducanu never had the reputation of an injured player. To be fair, she wasn't a very well-known player that was followed closely and also didn't play that much.
Her rise in 2021 was meteoric, and there weren't any injury concerns. Those came a year later when she started to play regularly, and it quickly became apparent that she was not ready for it.
Injury after injury kept her away from the courts, and she finally stopped altogether to get some of those issues surgically fixed.
A long hiatus followed, but she's back and ready to get going. Speaking to the media ahead of her Asb Classic comeback, Raducanu admitted she feels reborn.
It might be a dramatic, cliched turn, but it kind of makes sense.

Emma Raducanu will come back to tennis at the Asb Classic in Auckland, and ahead of it, she declared herself a better player.
We haven't seen Emma Raducanu play a competitive match in a very long time, but it's finally here. The Brit will make her official comeback to the sport in Auckland, the same event where she suffered one of the injuries that was surgically repaired earlier this year.
All of that is now behind her as she's been working hard for a while to get back to the sport, and it's here. She made a few bold claims ahead of the event, and now it's about backing it up. We'll see if Raducanu is truly this better player as she seemed to be confident in her abilities ahead of the Wta 250 event.
Tennis-wise in training and in practice over the last few weeks, I'm hitting the ball like really well.

The draw of the first Wta 250 event was released with a lot of attention centered around Emma Raducanu's first-round match at the Asb Classic in Auckland.
The British tennis sensation is fit and raring to go again after accepting a wild card into the 32-woman field in New Zealand. Raducanu infamously injured her ankle during her last appearance at the tournament in 2023, when most outdoor matches were unplayable due to rain.
Instead, the tournament arranged for makeshift indoor hard courts to complete the schedule. In one of those matches, Raducanu picked up a costly injury that ruled her out for the entire second half of the campaign, and she had to undergo surgery.
But even after berating the tournament organizers, Raducanu has let bygones be bygones and is eager to make her tennis comeback in Auckland. She is set to play her first match since mid-April when Jelena Ostapenko...

Emma Raducanu is making a comeback at the 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland, and in her own words, she feels really fresh.
Raducanu's return to the Wta Tour is a huge thing because very few players have captivated the general public's interest as much as he has with her US Open triumph. That happened two years ago, and for much of that period, Raducanu felt as if she had weights on her shoulders.
Some might argue that it was too much too soon, which makes sense because it literally happened over a fortnight.
This year proved to be a much-needed break for Raducanu as she spent a lot of time away from the courts due to injuries. Now, before her comeback at the Asb Classic in Auckland, Raducanu is excited for a fresh start.
Yeah, I feel reborn in a way. I feel fresh, I feel ready, I feel happy, I feel excited.

The 2024 Asb Classic in Auckland is the first Wta 250 event of the brand-new season, featuring a stack of top-class talent.
The draw for the 37th edition of the women's tournament has been released, and it has thrown up some exciting matches as early as the opening round. Main draw action will begin on New Year's Day and run till January 7, 2024.
In the top half of the draw, we locate the defending champion and outright favorite to reign at this Wta 250 tournament. American women have excelled playing this event. Five of the past seven champions have come from the United States.
The top seed, Coco Gauff, will look to complete a first successful title defense since Julia Goerges back in 2019. She begins her campaign against fellow American Claire Liu. On paper, the 19-year-old has a relatively comfortable draw.

Emma Raducanu is returning to tennis in a few days after months of hard work, and she spoke a bit about that recently.
We haven't seen Raducanu in a competitive environment for almost a year now. The Brit struggled with injuries at the start of 2023 and took time off to address those problems surgically.
She had three separate surgeries, after which she began a long recovery program. Some speculated that Raducanu would return late in 2023, but pretty quickly, it became apparent that she was targeting a 2024 return instead.
It kind of made sense becaue there was no reason to really rush. Getting healthy and ready for the new season made a lot of sense because she could treat it as a proper restart to her career.
On the flip side, some argued that Raducanu didn't care enough to return, which was only fueled by her frequent adventures outside of the tennis court.

The 2024 Australian Open is set for a historic Sunday start and the prize money on offer will also be historic, with another increase compared to last year.
In 2023, players received a total of A$76.5 million in prize money across all competitions played at the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. In 2024, the total prize money will be A$86.5 million, and on top of that, the points distribution changed too in 2024.
That applies only to men's tournament, as the Atp announced points distribution changes across all levels of competitions. The Wta did something similar, but that did not impact the Grand Slam tournaments.

2024 will be a special tennis season because the Olympics are part of it, and it's affecting the schedule a lot according to Taylor Fritz.
Besides the obvious implications of extending the season by a week or two, the competition also forces players to do some things that they wouldn't usually do. The rules are clear, and you can't just waltz into the Olympic Games; there are some things you need to have on your resume to be able to play.
Besides the ranking, players also need to have played for their country in the team competitions, which is a bit annoying for Fritz because he will have to play in the Davis Cup after the Australian Open when he would have preferred to have that week off.
Asked about the Olympics during his stay in Perth for the United Cup, Fritz lamented the requirements while reiterating his desire to play...

Emma Raducanu is only days away from an official return to tennis, and a lot of people are excited to see what will happen.
There have been very few players in recent years that have been as polarizing as Emma Raducanu. Her sudden rise was one of the most spectacular things the average tennis fan saw up until that point, so she became a star overnight.
As sudden as her rise was, her crashdown was a bit slower and took a while. Injuries, coaching changes, and bad performances all contributed to it, but it was mostly injuries because when she did play, she wasn't particularly bad, she just never was fully healthy.

Emma Raducanu is inching ever closer to having her name in the Australian Open main draw without the need to play qualifying.
Raducanu, currently ranked outside the world's Top 200, is slated to play the Australian Open qualifying rounds because her Special Ranking (World No. 103) is not high enough to warrant an automatic main draw berth.
A Special Ranking (Sr) is a provision that the Wta Tour gives to injured players or those on maternity leave (subject to application and approval) who are out of action for not less than six months to use the actual ranking of the last tournament in which they played or receive prize money.
Raducnau's Sr of 103 would have qualified her for the year's first Grand Slam. However, the cut-off entry at the 2024 Australian Open has been lowered due to a stack of Special Ranking entrants with double-digit rankings (higher than Raducanu's).

Of course for Emma it is about her being fit but not only that. She has been injured but she has also not been injured and not performing.

Iga Swiatek has been named this year's highest-paid female athlete by Forbes and is the fourth Wta player to top the podium since this category was incepted in 2008.
Contrary to an earlier report published by Sportico, which placed American teenager star Coco Gauff at the top and Swiatek in second place, their positions have now changed based on Forbes' computation.
As per the latest numbers, Swiatek earned an estimated $23.9 million, which put her comfortably at the top ahead of 20-year-old freestyle skier Eileen Gu, who made $22.1 million. Gauff ranked in third place, amassing $21.7 million.
Swiatek was the Wta's top-performing player last season after winning six titles, including a third Roland Garros crown. The Polish star was the highest prize money earner on the women's tour, earning $9,857,686. Swiatek made just as much away from the court.
Swiatek added to her four existing brand partnerships to boost her endorsement income into eight figures,...

Sports and tennis are all about storylines, and it's a pretty exciting time right now with Emma Raducanu returning.
Raducanu has been quite a polarizing player because her US Open run might be one of the most iconic things we've seen in tennis history. It's subjective, but it was a really fun time as the whole world tuned in to see what would happen.
She became a global phenomenon overnight, and her inability to match contributed to her polarized nature. Very few players have had the media so interested in them as Raducanu and her coming back will help the Wta Tour.
Jessica Pegula spoke about the state of tennis at the Australian Open show and how exciting of a time it is in tennis right now.
It's a really exciting time in tennis and women's sports in general. I mean I feel like our sport is really growing. I think we're seeing new champions.

Emma Raducanu might not need to go through the rigors of qualifying to play in the main draw of the 2024 Australian Open.
However, there is a caveat on how she'll enter next year's first Grand Slam tournament. Because Raducanu's rank dropped to a low of No. 296 upon release of the entry list, she needed either a main draw wild card or use her Special Ranking to avoid playing qualifying rounds.
Suffice to say neither of those two possibilities worked for her. A wild card has not been forthcoming, and at this moment, Raducanu's Sr of World No. 103 is inadequate to garner her a main draw spot. It would have been sufficient on any other previous edition, but not next year.
It's not all doom and gloom for Raducanu, who is set to return at the Asb Classic in Auckland in January, as she'll now need four more withdrawals to qualify...

There are too many things that people wonder about Emma Raducanu and her imminent comeback to tennis. None of that is surprising, as she's one of the most polarizing players in recent memory.
From her crazy breakout at the US Open to her overnight disappearance from the top of tennis, Raducanu has always split people.

Will she play well? How far on the rankings will she go? Will there be any injury setbacks? Who is going to be the coach? Well, at least for the final one,...

Emma Raducanu is returning to tennis in about ten days, and she'll have to be patient due to her lack of experience.
Emma Raducanu achieved a lot in professional tennis, having a Grand Slam trophy in her cabinet, but she's still very inexperienced as a player. She hasn't played a full season, and she still hasn't played that many matches and, more importantly - played regularly.
Tennis is all about consistency, and she hasn't been consistent in that regard. One week, she's really good but then fails to keep it up, and it's because she's never done it before. Experience matters so much in tennis, and she doesn't have it.
The lack of it will make this comeback quite tricky as she'll hit the wall eventually, and how she handles that will be important to how it goes. Compatriot Tim Henman talked about her comeback to Eurosport and laid out what she might be facing.

Emma Raducanu is set to return to tennis at the start of January, and many are excited to see what she can do and whether she can be competitive.
It's been a very long time since Raducanu last stood on a tennis court, and after taking a rather conservative approach to her injuries, people wonder what will happen once she does.
Triple surgery was no joke, and it took a long time to get back on a tennis court, so there is reason for optimism. Even when she was bothered by the injuries, Raducanu showcased her typical attacking tennis, which still worked well.
It's not impossible to imagine her returning in pretty good shape and winning again. If all goes well, Casper Ruud wouldn't be surprised as he could see the Brit challenging for Grand Slams again, as he talked about the Brit, as per the Express.
Is Emma fit again?...

Patrick Mouratoglou is not a fan of Emma Raducanu's management of her coaching team and has advised the Briton to find stability in her coaching appointments.
They always say that you don't need to fix it if it's not broken, but Raducanu has never paid attention to those words. The 21-year-old and her father have a philosophy in which they take total control of coaching decisions, according to Raducanu's agent, Max Eisenbud.
Because of her chopping and changing methods, Raducanu has never stayed with a coach long enough to sustain her results. She has been heavily criticized for this coaching carousel that has been going on for the last three years, with former British tennis legend Ann Jones leading the choir.
Mouratoglou, one of the foremost tennis minds, has shared his thoughts on Raducanu's decision-making. The French coach believes Raducanu's problems (both form and injury) are directly impacted by the high turnover of coaches.

Patrick Mouratoglou advised Emma Raducanu to stick with one coach and believe their plan rather than keep changing coaches regularly.
Throughout her still short tennis career, Raducanu built a reputation for changing coaches regularly. It's an interesting approach, which the player defended, saying it's something she's done since early tennis years.
However, many coaches don't support this approach, even claiming that it may be hurting the player and preventing her from progressing, which technically happened since Raducanu won the 2021 US Open.
But the Brit's lack of success can also be attributed to the injuries that she had to deal with, rather than changing coaches, and only time will tell whether this approach is the correct one for her.
Renowned coach Patrick Mouratoglou spoke to SkySports about Raducanu, saying that the former world no. 10 on the Wt ATour needs to learn to trust one coach and their project.
"I understand it's...

British rising star Jack Draper is backing Emma Raducanu to rediscover her Grand Slam-winning form when she returns to the Wta tour next month.
Raducanu made history at the 2021 US Open when she became the first qualifier to win a major title without dropping a set in all ten matches in New York. That success, sadly, has proved to be a flash in the pan thus far, as the Toronto-born Briton struggled for consistency and with injuries.
This year, Raducanu played just three and a half months on tour before her season was curtailed by wrist and ankle injuries. After undergoing three surgeries, she is back on the practice courts, gearing up to return at next month's Asb Classic in Auckland.
Draper, who has dealt with his fair share of injury troubles in his young career, knows of Raducanu's vast talent potential, having grown up with her in the juniors.

Leylah Fernandez has pointed to a tennis identity crisis for her underwhelming 2023 campaign on the courts.
Hopes have been high for Fernandez ever since she raced to the 2021 US Open final before eventually losing to Emma Raducanu at Flushing Meadows. However, the Canadian player has struggled to garner momentum in her career since and fell to her lowest ranking of 96th in June 2023.
Fernandez's dip in the Wta standings followed some disappointing outings in the Grand Slams, including a first-round exit at the US Open and second-round eliminations in the three other majors.
When reflecting on her 2023 campaign, the 21-year-old explained to Rds that she tried to implement a new approach to tennis that conflicted with her identity.
"I lost my identity on the tennis court. I wanted to change my tennis, and it didn't help me. I lost a lot in the first and second rounds.
