Marc D'Amour
- Producer
- Cinematographer
- Editor
Marc D'Amour hails from the northern mid-section of the U.S. and is a
proud supporter of his state, often being found sporting a Wisconsin
t-shirt. D'Amour and his band of eccentric film buffs spent a great
deal of childhood and adolescence watching the most diverse collection
of films and television ever compiled. D'Amour's founding of
"Zuckerfest" and "Zuckerpalooza" in 1992-96 and 1997 respectively is a
testament to D'Amour's great affection of celluloid. D'Amour and best
friend, John Campbell worked tirelessly to push the envelope of what
could be accomplished with the limited video technology accessible to
them. Together, they produced a number of forgettable films that helped
them to develop their creativity and innovation.
In 1998, D'Amour met Blaise Hemingway while interning for the Walt Disney Animation studios. D'Amour and Hemingway connected famously and began collaborating on both Hemingway's musical endeavors and on co-produced mockumentaries. D'Amour produced Hemingway's first album, "Coming Out Of The Closet", which was most appropriately recorded in D'Amour's closet in an apartment they shared. D'Amour was the first of the Cinema Mavericks to venture to Los Angeles. He toiled endlessly to absorb as much as possible, gaining experience as an assistant to a producer and later parleyed that experience into becoming an associate producer on a major syndicated television program. D'Amour's special abilities have been employed by Paramount, Fox and most recently with Cinema Mavericks.
