Daniela Oleg Lyahova was born in Sofia. She graduated in the class of Professor Georgi Ivanov at the National Academy in 1995 and debuted on the stage of Theater "Sfumato", whose artist she remained until her death. She is the author of staging solutions for most productions of Margarita Mladenova and Ivan Dobchev. She has worked with directors Julia Ognyanova, Galin Stoev, Yavor Gardev and Krikor Azaryan. Daniela Oleg Lyahova is a multiple winner of the most prestigious theater awards in Bulgaria - "Icarus" for the stage design of the performances "Julie, Jean and Christine" by A. Strindberg in Theater "Sfumato" (2008), "Knight of the Holy Spirit" by Boyan Papazov in National Theater "Ivan Vazov" and "Back in Wittenberg" by Ivan Dobchev and Georgi Tenev in Theater "Sfumato" (2012) and "Hamlet", directed by Yavor Gardev at the National Theater, along with Nicola Toromanov and Venelin Shurelov in 2013. She has won three times the Theater Award "Asker" for production design and costume. As an artist Daniela Oleg Lyahova has numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, and she was an author of the layout of a number of books.
