By now, Netflix should be considered the undisputed king of the true crime genre, and their latest foray into true crime, Lover, Stalker, Killer, only solidifies the statement. The documentary focuses on the infamous Liz Golyar and how she made the life of Dave Kroupa a living hell, as well as the murder of Cari Farver. The sensational story has a pull from the very first second and manages to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole thing, which is what Netflix wants, I suppose.
Spoilers Ahead
What Happens In The Documentary?
At 35, Dave was about to give a shot to a new life after moving to Nebraska. He was single and had an amicable relationship with his ex, Amy, with whom he shared the custody of two kids. Dating was on the cards, and Dave took no time to sign up on the websites. All...

In 2012, newly single Dave Kroupa moved to Omaha, Nebraska, with the hopes of getting back into the dating game. He’d just come out of a long-term relationship, and he was eager to make new connections. He created an online dating profile and met Liz Golyar, a single mom and animal lover. Soon after he met Golyar, another single mother, Cari Farver, walked into Kroupa’s auto shop to have her car repaired. He felt a connection instantly.
So far, so familiar. However, Kroupa could scarcely have predicted what would unfold from there: a twisted, tragic love triangle that put him and everyone he cared about at risk. His story is the subject of Lover, Stalker, Killer, a new documentary from Curious Films (Running with the Devil: The Wild World of John McAfee), which crafts a shocking tale of harassment, digital deception, and murder.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are teaming up with their oldest son Michael for an upcoming “Ripped from the Headlines” Lifetime movie.
Michael will star alongside Jenna Dewan in the film, titled “Let’s Get Physical.” It follows Dewan as a fitness instructor named Sadie who taught fitness and dance to soccer moms by day, but by night led a double life running a sophisticated prostitution ring with a customer list that included very prominent men in the community. After an anonymous tip, authorities raided her studio, leading to Sadie’s indictment and ignited a firestorm in the small town leading everyone to ask, who exactly was on the client list.
Jennifer Irwin also stars. Ripa and Consuelos will executive produce under their Milojo Productions banner as part of the previously announced partnership with Lifetime. Dewan will also executive produce.
This is, of course, not the first time Michael has worked with his parents.
